I was recently perusing the Kenwood store and suddenly fell in love with a pair of shoes. Yes,…read moreladies, you know how it happens. All of a sudden you see a pair of shoes and you just have to have them. I tried to get several sales associates' attention to see if they had them in my size, yet no one seemed to want to help me (hence, docking one star). It may have just been my perception, but the sales associates seemed to be more interested in helping the older customers than me (my attire of yoga pants and a sweatshirt probably didn't exude money). If they were crazy busy, I'd understand- but that didn't seem to be the case. Finally, a younger, sweet employee said she could help me. I wish I remembered her full name, I just remember that it started with an H. Of course, they didn't have any shoes left in my size in the store. She searched online and the surrounding stores, with no luck. Saddened, I figured it just wasn't meant to be. This awesome sales associate then went above and beyond by calling corporate. She said they can search all stores in the country for my size. Cha-ching! A store in Virginia had the last pair in the country in my size. She was able to get them shipped to me free of charge- and allowed me to use my $20 off a purchase of $80 or more coupon! I left an incredibly satisfied customer. I've already worn my shoes twice :).

This store has egregious customer service. My wife has spend hundreds of dollars here. Today, we…read moretried to return her very first return item, and we were informed that the store couldn't accept it as we were beyond the return limit...by two days. The dress has not been worn nor tags removed. There was not even an offer for exchange. It was simply "I'm sorry" followed by blank stare. Was the store correct by policy, yes. Was the policy in the best interest of satisfying future returning customers, no. The good news is that there are so many good stores in Kenwood mall that we don't have to go far to make up for the removal of this store from our target shopping locations.

I spent $75+ on a short sleeved shirt today. It hurt a little, but it also felt oh-so-right. To…read moresome people that might not sound that bad... but for me, it was definitely a tough bullet to bite. Nonetheless, it was a bullet I chose to bite. Here's why: 1) A trendy-casual looks works great for me in my personal and work life, so it's great to have shirts that I can wear untucked with a nice pair of jeans or chinos. It's the absolute worst when you find a shirt you love, but it hangs so low that you would look absolutely ridiculous with it untucked. UNTUCKit shirts are the perfect length and sit just below your waistline to give you that casual look without trying too hard 2) The sizing of the shirts. It's pretty interesting what they do here. They have "try-on" shirts that you try-on for size and then they mark a card with your size. They do not have all sizes on display for all shirts. They keep them in the back and bring them out when you decide on a design you like. This might seem weird... but once I found the perfect size, I loved how mindless the shopping experience became. It would be all-too-easy to just walk back in and snag another shirt without even trying it on. They had in-between sizes (i.e. Large slim; in between a medium and large) too which was really great for making sure that you get that perfect fit. Nice touch, UNTUCKit. 3) The staff was friendly. Shopping experiences can be intimidating. Especially when staff is rude/unhelpful... But here, I have to give them credit. The staff felt super approachable and made great suggestions on sizing/design options. I felt at-ease right away. Even when I found an online-coupon, the staff was accommodating and made sure that I could use it in-person, too. Here's what I think could improve: - The long-sleeved shirts' sleeves are well... too long. When I commented on this, the staff member assisting me said "everyone says that." Hopefully UNTUCKit corporate is listening? I think that would be a great improvement. (But maybe they assume that you'll always roll them?) - I'd love to see more design styles. Don't get me wrong, the styles they have are great... but it's also a relatively small store. Especially if you're keeping more of the product in the back, I think some more diversity in styles would be awesome (especially since the sizing/fit of your product is so great). There were also a couple of the cotton shirts that had a very papery-feel to them... with a high sticker price, those didn't seem like a good choice. - The value. I feel confident and attractive in my UNTUCKit shirt, but that feeling definitely came with a high price tag. I understand that the product is well-made and the sizing feels very tailored, but $80+ for these? I mean... c'mon, the profit margins on these have to be through the roof (I honestly don't even want to know). Will I buy more? Man... I'd love to tell you that I would never spend that much money again on a short sleeved shirt... but it fits so damn well! The value is my only real "ding" here that knocks off the star, and that certainly rests on the shoulders of corporate. Speaking of responsibilities that rest on corporate... The photos on this Yelp page (unless corrected) currently have misspelled "Cincinnati." I did cringe a little. We're a proud people, UNTUCKit... But when it comes to this store and their product...The staff here is great and the store and brand have a lot to be proud of.

He said they could help me replace it. Two weeks later I came back with my torn shirt and no receipt. They looked up my receipt on line and helped me exchange my shirt for a newer and cooler one. Maddie Megan and Sammie exceeded my expectations. Great product with better service!

I actually came into the store to find some new outfits to purchase for the holiday coming up. I…read morewas really disappointed to see that I was in the store for more than five minutes and nobody has said anything to me. Everyone was just kind of talking in their little groups, not paying attention to the customers in the store. I actually watched several people walk in and not one person was ever addressed with even a hello or do you need help. I actually went to the employees and I said I wanted to make a comment. Simply put, I said that I was very turned off by their business for the fact that I had been in the store for so long and nobody had ever asked me for address to me anything. And all they could do was nod their head, and say nothing. How professional! Will be emailing corporate.

I went to Ann Taylor yesterday to find a suit. The store was fairly busy, so I kept to myself and…read moretried on a couple options quickly. When I went to check out, my mom had a question for the cashier (let's called her Pleasant because she was actually very nice) about some pants, so Pleasant started to help my mom and left her post at the cash register. Another associate, who I can only assume was some sort of manager cause everyone kept screaming her name (Lexi), came to check me out while my mom and Pleasant were running around the store. Lexi rang up my suit jacket and I asked why the 40% discount advertised all over the store hadn't been applied. She told me the discount didn't apply to suiting. Ok, no big deal, I've worked in retail I know there are limitations to sales. Anyway, Pleasant came back to help finish ringing me out cause Lexi "[couldn't] handle doing the register". Pleasant then proceeded to take 40% off my suit, so I questioned if that was right cause Lexi had just told me no (I was trying to correct Pleasant's error without being a b***h about it- I'm the type of person to always bring up discrepancies even when they are not in my favor). Pleasant calls Lexi over to clarify the discount at which point Lexi turns to me and says in the sassiest way possible "I JUST told you the discount doesn't apply to suiting." I think i was in shock from the amount of sass I just witnessed cause then a flurry of 3 associates somehow decided to allow me to have the 40% discount anyway (I'm still confused about that cause in my mind I was just trying to tell Pleasant that the discount shouldn't apply to my suit). I guess I'm appreciative that all the confusion just saved me 40% on a suit that shouldn't have been discounted, but I can't get over the way Lexi spoke to me when I was only trying to help save Pleasant's butt. Pleasant apologized like 80 times for which I thanked her cause she was extremely nice and helpful throughout the entire process. I don't know if Lexi is always like that, or if I caught her in a particularly lovely moment, but not every customer is out to scam retailers. I've worked plenty of retail jobs and know exactly how stressful it can get, but I have also never, ever been spoken to by someone like that, especially when I was spending over $200 in their store.

I have 11 cartridge piercings all of which were done at a tattoo shop. On my 18th birthday a few…read moremonths back I decided I wanted to get another piercing but at Rowan! Licensed nurses doing the piercings and a very aesthetically pleasing environment defiantly drew me in. I got my right side tragus piercing which just a basic charm. When we went to leave it was $130 for this piercing. $130 for one piercing with a basic piece of jewelry is insane pricing. Anyways, the swelling and tenderness of the piercing was normal and I was using the cleaning spray they recommended at checkout which was $20! On day two and three started to notice a lump beneath my ear, soon to find out this grape size lump was my lymph node and my piercing was extremely infected. From my 11 other cartilage piercings and having my thirds on my ear lobes I have never experienced something like this. I made an appt at my Dr office just to be sent to urgent care because there was a cyst inside where the tragus sat. I had to get the cyst trained and was on antibiotics for just over a week from this infection that come to find out after sending a swab to the lab... it was MRSA! I would not recommend Rowan, from the pricing to the multiple people from across other Rowan locations that have had the same outcome as me. Find a good tattoo shop, and stick with the same piercer. Also, I did call and was told I signed a waiver and all they could do was take the piercing out for me. I was so sad but not surprised.

Originally we had an amazing experience getting my daughter's ears pierced for the first time…read more Everyone was incredibly kind and my daughter did wonderful. After 7 or so weeks I decided to take her back to pick out new earrings. I had previously consulted with someone online as I was having a difficult time getting the back off of the earring. As I was in the middle of a sentence talking to an employee about this she put a pair of gloves on , walked over to my daughter who was looking at earrings across the store and yanked out of of her earrings. My daughter who had no idea this was going to happen was obviously upset. I tried to calm her down but she was struggling and I really wanted to put an earring back in her ear before it closed but she was scared and incredibly upset as she said her ear was hurting bad and she was afraid it was going to hurt. As I was talking to my daughter trying to calm her down the employee told my daughter she "doesn't have a lot of patience so she needed to sit down". I ended up paying for one of the three sets of earrings putting the other ones back and walking out into the mall, calming her down and putting in the original earring back in her ear. Very disappointed with the way that was handled on her part. We will not be returning
