Gio, Marco and all of their team members are absolutely incredible!…read more I had a leak underneath my bathtub due to an old drain. I got it fixed once before but the issue came back, so I decided it was time to rip the bath rub out and install something new. I reached out to a bunch of contractors in the Palm Springs area and got people over to provide me with quotes. Turns out some did not have proper licenses (yet advertise they do), some quoted me for labor but wanted me to go buy all the parts and tiles, some showed up an hour late etc. Gio made a perfect impression. He communicated well about his ETA, talked me through the process and provided me with a rough estimate. Later that evening, he sent me a quote via email with the breakdown and I also got to select the tile at that point. Gio had also renovated bathrooms in a few other condos in my HOA, which definitely gave me even more confidence. I paid the down-payment and Marco showed up a few days later with his workers. They put down paper and plastic everywhere to try and keep my place as clean and dust free as possible. They ripped out the bathroom in one day. Then the plumber came to redo plumbing. He rebuilt the pipes and drain, which was definitely needed. They then left water standing in the drain during the weekend to make sure it wouldn't leak (it didn't). Then the tilers took about 3 days doing the sides and floor. On the final day, the plumber came back to install the fixtures and sliding door. Start to finish, the labor took a week. The workers always showed up within the hour that they said they would. Gio and Marco were super available via call and text when needed. And everyone was super friendly. I can't thank them enough for the amazing job they did.

Started off great, but Gio the owner never finished the job, took the money for materials which we…read morestill have not seen or been installed. Owes us over $4,000, we've been ghosted, even his workers will not return. Left equipment onsite, he's moved onto his next project in Los Angeles leaving us and I'm sure others behind. Do not utilize this company for anything, you will loose out!

Right from the start Sal didn't have to "sell" me. During the quote He could see my problems; how…read morethe previous installers cut corners, and told me why they did it. Sal fixed it all. I have a brick wall and he cut my quarts stone to fit, some would just grout fill. His quote was itemized and the most reasonable "no gouge" quote. Plus he answered my questions as I am inquisitive, with explanation and patience. As a single woman who has been searching for talented trustworthy, knowledgeable professionals to help with my 1957 home I was blessed to find Sal and Desert Stoneworks! You "Better Call Sal." I did and I'm so happy with my countertops, Sal's integrity and that he's just a great guy!

He clearly knows his craft inside and out, and he took the time to walk me through all my options - including the pros and cons of prefab vs. slabs. I ended up going with slabs based on his insight, and I'm really glad I did. He was also flexible and easy to work with. I needed help with material pickup, and he was willing to handle that (for a reasonable fee), which took a huge weight off my shoulders. My flooring isn't perfectly even, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was reinforced, level, and solid so the finished product would hold up over time. What really stood out to me was that Sal didn't disappear after he got paid. He checked in and made sure I was truly happy with the final result. That says a lot about his pride in his work and his character. The countertops look fantastic, the craftsmanship is top-notch, and the whole experience felt smooth and professional. Sal is a true master of his craft and a stand-up guy. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for quality countertop work and someone they can trust in their home.
