This place was recommended by the tow company that saved me from being stranded on Interstate 5 - literally in the middle of nowhere. I was told by a brief look at the car that the engine head was gone and that it'd need to be replaced, which was estimated at quite a few days more than I could afford as well as price. Luckily, another mechanic saved me by letting me know the engine was overheating because the radiator and backup tank was empty. Filled it up and the engine got me another 150 miles to SF, then 400 miles back to LA and I haven't had any problems since. Ron's a great guy, but visit at your own risk. On his recommendation, I was about to junk the car in his yard. Luckily, a second opinion and me changing my own spark plugs saved the day. It was a bad experience overall for me. Hopefully, nobody else will be in need of car repairs nearby Firebaugh.

They still charged me a service fee, a towing fee, a LABOR fee, and a storage fee. (Over $1000) When I took my truck somewhere else they told me the transmission was missing parts. Not only did this business over charged, but also robbed transmission parts. Be careful!!
