Called tire shops and these guys took my call, waited for me to arrive (30 min drive on spare), and they quickly replaced my tire and got me going. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I got a flat tire on the freeway going to So Cal. All I wanted was a used tire. The lady who helped me didn't speak English so her daughters were translating for my family & I. My boyfriend shows her our flat tire, she laughs in our faces and tells us it will be $200 for a used tire. Aren't used flat tires supposed to be $40? We declined her offer. Why spend $200 on a used tire when I can get a new one for that price? We left but came back shortly after we realized she did not give us back our spare. We came back and instead of just giving me back MY spare she told me I would have to pay her $20 to get back what was MINE! I needed to get back on the road so I agreed even though I knew she was so wrong. I gave her my debit card to charge and she said she only accepts cash. I said I don't have cash and she told her daughter to translate back to me in English: "GO WALK TO THE ATM ACROSS THE STREET". I couldn't believe how rude this lady was and the way she was treating me. Came back w her stupid $20 and she finally gave me my spare. FYI: I ended up going down the street maybe 2 minutes away from this shop and the tire shop from them quote me $30 for a used tire. I think they were called Firebaugh Tires. They did it for me in 5 minutes and were so much kinder and accommodating. read more

i'm a 22 year old girl driving home for thanksgiving and my car broke down and my only spare tire popped while driving on the highway. they came quick when i called and towed my car and replaced ALL 4 tires for only $500. it was so kind and they treated me very well. Jorge and his son are precious kind souls . Me and my girlfriend were sneaking off to Monterey bay without our parents knowing and only had like 80 bucks until my tire popped halfway through right before Los Banos. My parents insurance got me connected with him and he came .it was very late and he was only able to take me to the closest tire shops within a certain range but from there we would still be stranded due to them all being closed. He asked me if I had any money and I told him how much . It was funny because when I told him he said the same thing my parents said " why would you go with such little money "and I responded. After finding out our situation he did something he didn't have to do . He took me and my girlfriend to his shop which was nearly an hour away from our location . After getting there he along with his son sold me a used tire for enough to get the tire and to get something to eat on the way home. All I can really say is Jorge and his son are hero's and that we won't ever forget them. Also it's ironically funny that he has the same name as my gfs dad & brother . This 24/7 business was a lifesaver! Yesterday we blew out a tire on Hwy 5 with no spare. Would've cost a fortune to tow all the way home, so we looked for tire service still open. Luckily we found Valadez online that's open 24/7. We call them while waiting for AAA truck. They were open, charged a reasonable nominal fee to open off-hours.
