I was traveling south on a bike trip when I crashed and ruptured my spleen, resulting in a 7-day hospital stay. I called Andy for tow service, and he went above and beyond in taking care of me, my bike, and all my gear, including $300 in cash, my passport, all my GoPros, and lots of tools and supplies. Andy's generosity and compassion were life-saving in many ways, and I am forever grateful for his support. Thank you, Andy. read more

For those traveling through Los Banos, CA, BEWARE of Andy's Towing because they are thieves and will steal whatever they can whenever they get a chance. Avoid them at all costs and utilize other towing services unless you want to be ripped off! They said it was $225 for the services and then he charged us $325! And not only that, he stole my husband's jacket. He will take advantage of you. read more

Andy was so helpful. I was out of town on business and broke down. Andy got my car towed to the mechanic and waited until it opened so he could give the keys directly to the mechanic. My 2022 Chevrolet Bolt wouldn't start. I have roadside assistance with Chevrolet. After a series of mishaps, Chevrolet called Andy's Towing, in Los Banos. I scheduled a tow through Chevrolet for 9am. Andy, the owner called me and asked me when I wanted to have the vehicle towed. I asked him if hea could be at my house at 7am, so i could be there when they towed my car. Andy arrived at 6:45am, ready to tow my car to Hollister. My car was originally scheduled for Monday. The previous towing company completely dropped the ball. Thank God I wasn't stranded on the road. If you need a tow in the Los Banos/Merced area, please give Andy a call! Highly recommended! JT read more

I also am deeply grateful to the Yelp community for taking the time to leave reviews. We were scared and stranded late at night in the middle of nowhere and you all enabled us to quickly narrow in on who we needed to call to get us to safety: Andy to the rescue! After a major flat on I-5 due to their horrible potholes, we discovered our brand new Audi Q5 was not equipped with a spare - to cut weight, Audi puts a dummy in. Nice and noted now. Our Audi road service said it would be at least 2 hours. Being stranded in the dark, late at night, in the middle of nowhere, in wind and rain with kids was quickly becoming dire for us. Before turning to Yelp I called another local tow company who was not interested in helping us until morning. As panic started to set in, I hopped on Yelp and thank goodness found my way to Andy. He immediately tried to find a tire in his shop that would fit but dang it's a unique size. Within 30m of my initial call Andy pulled up next to us with his big, beautiful flatbed. We fortunately were about 10 miles from a hotel with vacancy. Andy went above and beyond, loading the 4 of us up with our suitcases and dropped us at the hotel before dropping our car off at Les Schwab Tire in Los Banos who quickly got us back on the road in the morning - they had 1 tire in stock of our rare size!!! We definitely had some angels helping us through the ordeal and Andy was first and foremost. Side note: the next morning on our way home, a few exits up from where we were stranded, we saw the same make/color Audi on the side of the road with a flat tire. What are the odds?!?! We pulled over to offer help and fortunately their model was a couple years older so they had the spare. Relieved for them! Be careful on I-5 folks. If you do happen to run into bad luck, call Andy's Towing in Los Banos! From the bottom of my heart, Andy - THANK YOU!!! read more

BEST TOW EXPERIENCE EVER! I had a blow out flat on I5 and the tire shop closed in an hour and a half and it was 40min from where I was. I called 5 different tow truck companies. Andy is the only one that gave me a price and a time under an hour that he could be there in. He was super nice and knowledgeable about the area and was able to take the back roads to make sure he got me to the tire shop all the way in Turlock on time so I could get my tire fixed and get back on the road because I lived 3hrs away still. He even cut his price down $100 for me so I had enough money to get my tire done right then instead of waiting. I HIGHLY recommend him. He's a nice guy and helped me not just like the professional he is but also like a person that cared about my situation. I will always use him and recommend him in the area!! read more

This man is a Godsend. I was waiting 6 hours for a tow company that never showed up. My insurance company called Andy and told him my situation and he called me and said he'll be there in 30 minutes to help me. He showed up in 20 minutes. I passed through Los Banos on the Friday of 4th of July weekend when my Jeep lost power and I was stuck on the side of the road. I called AAA and they were of no help, so I took a chance on Andy. He saved my weekend. After picking me up and trailering the Jeep he took me to a shop owned by friends (Figueroa Tire & Auto Repair) and got me in immediately. They diagnosed the problem, ordered a part, and got me back on the road quickly. Andy was very helpful and patient and I cannot thank him enough. A+ read more

I had a flat tire passing thru Los Banos from San Francisco around 9:15pm earlier tonight. It was dark , cold, and I was exhausted. Although I was driving a 2022 new truck and brand new cell phone on hand, I found my truck sensor reading a flat rear tire. How can that be you ask? It just happened. All that could possibly go wrong did. I was so glad Andy was available and quick to come to the rescue. He was calm, patient, and professional. I called another and until now (3 hours later) have not heard from them back. Andy was very professional and was working and helping me within 20 minutes. He was able to locate me right away with the direction I provided of my location which was hard for me to identify, lacking in the proper use of a brand new phone and it's features. Andy found me and had me driving out of there quick. This was amazing compared to all the tow truck services I had in the past that took hours to come. I really though I will be stranded for hours on Fwy 152 waiting for help. God bless you Andy. Thank you very much.. I highly recommend anyone to contact Andy for your towing needs. read more

If you're in trouble, call Andy now - read this review later! My car broke down just off I-5 (driving from LA to SF) on the 152 passway, in the worst spot, just around a corner, no shoulder on the road, lots of gigantic semi trucks flying around the corner. I was terrified, Andy dropped what he was doing to come get me as fast as he could. When I got there, his widened eyes confirmed that yes, I was broken down in a terrifying spot. But he strapped my car up in world-record time and got me the hell out of there!!! He was also very helpful with analyzing what went wrong with my car and getting me to the right place to rent-A-Car, etc. I feel like we became friends. Good family man, trying to run a family business. Be sure to use him if you can. read more

Andy is AWESOME. I am so thankful that when we broke down, he was the one to swiftly come get us. My sister and I were both very frightened after our front tire went flat in the middle of the night, and Andy could not have been more helpful and reassuring that we would be ok. He patiently waited on the phone with our insurance company until they gave the go-ahead to tow us 120 miles back to our home. I only hope that if I have to go through that experience again, I am in the vicinity of where Andy's Towing is available. Thanks Andy!! read more

Andy is amazing! My fiancé and I got a flat while traveling on I-5 South in the middle of nowhere (for us). The nearest Chevron had numerous cards for lots of services, but each one kept going to an automated services to leave a message and they'd call back...not the most reassuring. I called Andy's Towing, and Andy answered immediately! We were about 25 miles from his location and he was able to get to us in 30 minutes! He quickly repaired the flat with a patch, and a reasonable price. Thanks so much! read more

If I could do more than five stars I would. I was traveling alone on the I-5 and had 4 hours more to go on my trip when my car completely turned off. All the mechanics were about to close so I called Andy thinking I might have to spend the night and go to a shop the next day. Well he came in 30 minutes, took a look under the hood and knew exactly what was wrong with it (mind you I had just left a mechanic called Highway 33, 15 minutes before and they told me my car could run) he took my car to an auto zone and put in a new accelerator in himself successfully getting it fixed before the sunset. He made me feel very safe and was incredibly reassuring that my problem would be solved. The car ran AMAZING and I honestly have not experienced such great customer service from a mechanic/tow. I would highly recommend Andy's Towing to everyone, he's simply the BEST. read more

My truck broke down around 10PM on 5 north near Los Banos. I called a tow truck and Andy came to pick me up and brought me to a shop. Andy is a very friendly, respectful individual. I had to wait 2 hours for some friends from the bay to pick me up and Andy waited with me so that he knew I wouldn't be stranded on the sidewalk. I ended up having to sell my truck and a year and a half later he turned out ot be the one who bought it to fix it up. While he was fixing it up he stayed in excellent contact with me about the status of the truck. Andy has excellent communication skills and is a highly honorable man. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We were on a maiden voyage with our 5th wheel and truck driving up from San Diego. The previous owner had replaced all but one tire recently so we weren't concerned. What a surprise when we got to santa Nella and realized our back tire was low and bald! After none of the truck tire repair shops would not help (they only work on commercial rigs--can you believe that?!) we called Andys because of his great reviews. HE WAS THE HERO OF THE DAY!!!! He came to help us quickly and even worked through two stripped lugnuts. Amazing guy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

I had a hard time getting ahold of a few other tow companies in the area when the battery in my truck died. A couple of them just flat out didn't even show up without a heads up. A few others had some pretty outrageous prices. I decided to hop on yelp and start reading reviews to see if this is a common occurrence in the area. I read a couple good reviews about Andy's Towing and decided to give them a call. I believe it was Andy who showed up, and he got there pretty quick. He was a pleasure to deal with, and he was professional but relaxed at the same time. He doesn't have a shitty or condescending attitude, and his equipment doesn't look like it's about to fall apart either... that's something that sticks out too somebody who's in the trucking industry. As a small business owner, it's nice to deal with other small business owners for this very reason. With that all being said, Andy is the one I'll be calling if I ever have any more vehicle problems near Los Banos. read more

Andy'S Towing Service I'm a Wounded Warrior that got Retired from the Army due to injuries I sustained in Iraq not once but twice. I hope I got your attention now. You are not just hearing this from anyone but from a person who was in the Army and got Retired at age 28. Andy goes above and beyond and It is the best Towing Service I've ever came across. My Truck broke down in the Center of the Road(Mercy Spring Rd ) and then two Police with there vehicle came to stop traffic while waiting for a tow truck and Andy's Towing came to the rescue. I'm surprise he was very professional and experience handling my Truck and how quick it took him to get there and got us out. I'm the type of person if Customer Service was awful I don't care if it takes hours to get any other help but I'd rather wait. I was once working for a Tow Truck company, so I acted dumb as if I didn't know anything. Little did he know I was watching every move he made and the question I was asking, I already know. So not only the service is awesome but he actually knows what his doing or what to do if it was worse. Yes I know there might be cheaper Towing Company but I and so many people strongly recommend you to spent your money wisely by calling Andy's Towing service. Andy is or should I say I myself will recommend everyone at Los Banos to call him because of the outstanding service and it's very rare to find someone like this. He loves to work by helping others that needs help and he also has a family to feed which is why he goes out of his way to help. I'd rather spent every cent of my money to get the job done quickly and professionally and Andy's Towing is who I would call. Not only does he do all this, but he also Support The Troops that the Actual price was real expensive but gave me an unbelievable price. Thank you for reading this and I hope you pass the word out to call ANDY'S TOWING. Cell # 209-489-1655 read more
