Yesterday I contacted Madera County Utility to see whether I could change the name on our utility bill, or add my spouse's name on it. Daniel took my call yesterday. Within twenty-four hours, he had our utility information updated to include my spouse's name. Note: This is a valuable lesson I learned. I was working with a totally different entity, and they requested my spouse's name and address on a utility bill. They required this to be done within 24-hours. So... if there are other people living under the same roof, and you think they might need to use the utility statement for confirmation of their name and address, include their name on some of the utility bill(s).

Residential; Tier 1-(1-1000) $1.63, tier 2- (1001-3300) $2.25, tier 3- (3300) $3.69. In 2020 it will cost you; Tier 1- $1.93, tier 2- $2.60, tier 3- $4.22. Doesn't really look like a lot but for me to stop watering my yard cost me $95.78 in water alone. Let's not for get the sewer rates; $35.33 and in 2020 will increase to $42.75 Plus drainage $, refuse $ and street sweep $ . I have been passionate about gardening for over 22 years. PG&E did an upgrade to a transformer / volt in my driveway just this last week. PG&E left a mess…read moreand unsafe site in my driveway. That's not including damages, such as a part of my driveway sinking because it was not compacted properly. The night the new transformer was put in, they went to switch it live, when switching, there was a fire in the volt. The project was passed the 8 hours, and they were in a rush to go home. It wasn't until after 10pm when they left. The fire caused a brief surge in which my elderly neighbor's refrigerator no longer works! As you can see in the pictures, PG&E did a horrible job ensuring the site was safe until a restoration crew comes. PG&E was called about the safety issues, and a workman came. All was done was a "report!" Now my driveway is sinking because of poor compaction, there's large chunks in my driveway from the project, cracks had enlarged from all the heavy equipment, and they left large plates in the road along the curb so no one can park in the street. PG&E was called to remove the large steal plates and a crew came and just looked at them. Now there's no parking in front of the home for family to come for Thanksgiving! I'm surely hoping PG&E makes this go right.
