Had to get my Mustang Mach-E towed into the repair shop so it was essential that we had a flatbed truck. Called AAA & 7:45 AM and was quoted 45 minutes but we got a call from Abel within 5 minutes (no joke!) saying he would be there within 20 minutes! I was having a battery issue with my EV and Abel took the time to disconnect the manifold that concealed my 12V battery and was able to jump start it so we can pull the car onto the truck. The repair service received the car within perfect condition. Without question: 5 ***** Star Service! Thank you, Abel and Ron's Towing! read more

Terrible service. They are thieves. Don't trust them and Call different companies. They change their words after you accept their offer.

This is to rate/review the gentleman that helped out earlier today. I believe his name is James and was from Rons Towing in Madera CA. He was incredible. After dealing with a very stressful issue involving my car he helped me to breathe a lot better. He was fast, courteous and great with communicating to me what's going on. God forbid there is a next time, but when there is I will be calling James with Ron's Towing. Thanks guys!!! read more

The good news is my tow truck driver was very nice and pleasant. The bad news is, I believe, there were a few shortcuts taken, which made me EXTREMELY nervous. When he let down his platform to drive my car up the ramp, he relied solely on my parking brake to hold car on platform. Common sense tells me, there should have been some kind of support Incase my ubrake didn't perform correctly. Second observation is that he put tie- downs over top half of all my tires and cinched tightly. That's good, but that's all he did. I asked him about the 2 metal hooks that go on the undercarriage. He said the hand brake and "park" w straps was sufficient. Well in a perfect world maybe. What if he had to slam on brakes? I've seen plenty of cars and trucks b towed and they ALWAYS use hooks. I called AAA to tell them my experience w Ron's Towing. I did not want to make a formal complaint but asked to speak w Ron's. I explained my situation w dispatcher and told her how uneasy and worried I was. She had an attitude and instead of trying to make me feel less anxiety she said " well our driver is a 20 year veteran. He has towed Lambriginis and Ferraris." I'm sorry, I am not impressed. Maybe my car is not a 500,000 car but it's all I have, and it deserves the same kind of care as any other car. And just as with any other job, the longer a person does it, the more tendency we have to be complacent and cut corners. What a lousy, lousy attitude. Next time I will request a different towing company or at least a different driver. read more

On 06/12/2023 AAA sent Ron's Towing to check why my vehicle wouldn't start. The driver, Ron, was extremely professional and helpful. My vehicle wouldn't crank or start, not even when Ron tried with the jump starter. Ron towed my vehicle to the repair facility for me. Ron's Towing provides excellent customer service. read more

Jim the tow truck driver couldn't be nicer and more helpful. He helped us up into his truck because neither one of us could climb up without help. He was very patient as we tried to find the tire needed. The man in the office was also very helpful. I would recommend them. read more

Very poor customer service. 45 min turns into 2 hours I had to call nicks towing which I should have called in the first place but my insurance is the one who told me s&l would tow it fast. State Farm needs to hire someone else to tow in madera. The girls lie about there in route. It's a big scam. Still on hold for 45 minutes now waiting to speak with a supervisor as I'm following the tow truck that I called. read more

We got our car towed here by CHP around 1am and when we came to claim it, Loretta was very helpful. Victor the tow man really helped us out and explained all of our options and gave us advice. We were able to leave the car here for free since we have full coverage and will have the insurance come out and make a evaluation. He also advised us to upgrade our AAA policy to get more miles in towing for the future. read more

ZERO STARS! In all my years I have never had to write a bad review until today. I locked my keys in my car and my insurance agency sent Ron's towing to help me. The gentleman "Rodrigo" who helped me was struggling to unlock my car from the passenger window with his little wire/hook. He was at it for a good 30 min until he decided to grab the keys instead which were in my cup holder. In the process of trying to get my keys through the very little gap of the door my key was broken in half. The gentleman apologized and said he would fix my key. He said he would tell his boss and for me to call the next morning. This place is refusing to talk to me and giving me the run around. So now I am key less and car less. It's such a huge inconvenience. I wasn't even upset when it first happens because I was told it would get taken care of and now I know it was a complete lieThey are very unprofessional and seem to not care about there reputation. I'm very disappointed with the service. I won't ever recommend this place. read more

Ron's Towing & Road Service - Towing Near Me - Madera, California

The lady that answers the phone is rude and clueless. Waited for an hour an according to them AAA didn't submit a claim for a tow or jumpstart. On top of that they said they Dont have the batterey swap out past 630 pm. I though AAA WAS 24/7. I offer to pay for my tow and the lady started raising her voice saying she doesnt know when they can come out not organized at all. Maybe they get paid more for a AAA Call then private pay. read more

Best towing experience, even though AAA tried to prevent it everytime I tried to get it towed. Hector was extremely understanding and helpful throughout the experience read more

Where is the Zero star option? Let me begin with the broad up front, the "receptionist." I have never spoken to a more rude and clueless person who is supposed to give you the first impression of a business. Let give some professional advice real quick. I don't care if you are a Fortune 500 Company, a government office or a Tow Truck Company, a potential client's first impression of a business is the most important part of having a business. That broad does nothing for business. I'm not sure who told her a desk job at a Tow Company made her a Kardashian and made her think she was better than anyone else but yeah they lied to the girl. As long as she is there I will continue to give my opinion on this business based on her rude and unprofessional self. The drivers were all very nice and seemed like they had the same problem with Tow Truck Kardashian as the rest of us. Save yourself the time and irritation and call Nick's Towing at least he'll be honest with you and not treat you like crap. The way TT Kardashian talked to my elderly uncle that truly didn't understand what he needed to do was unacceptable and disrespectful to say the least. Just avoid this place all together. read more

I'm a AAA member, and not long after calling, Victor cane to the rescue. He was helpful and comforting, seeming how after trying to jump start my own car....well, I shouldn't have and I'll leave it at that. You guys are great, thank you! read more

We had a very unfortunate incident happen on our way to Santa Cruz this afternoon- while pulling our travel trailer on busy highway 145 just west of Highway 41, our truck went dead! No power at all! Mike came as a result of our call to AAA and helped ensure we were safe and helped us secure and stabilize our trailer as he loaded up our truck to take to the Ford Dealership! Thank you Mike! You helped make a negative experience more positive! read more

The worst towing company I ever had to deal with. They actually use profanity and threaded me on the phone. The man who answered my phone call said "we don't need your fucking car here and you better this piece of shit out ASAP! I get a fuck!" Them hanged up the phone on me! The same as the front desk lady she doesn't want to answer any questions and just have super rude responds!!! Doesn't treat people right at all!!! read more

I have used them, their okay. I still Nick's they are way better outfit for customer service.

My husband and I got stranded just outside Madera. Thinking that we had roadside service trough our insurance. We were stuck, looking for a towing truck. Called a couple of places. I understand it was late a night, and plus we were paying out of pocket. But the quotes we were getting were outrageous. From $450 and up. It was just from Madera to Fresno! I didn't want to go jolly riding to the Bay Area. Anyways thinking about leaving the car there and just having someone picking us up. We gave Ron's Towing Road Service a called and from the moment they picked up the phone to the arrival of MIKE the driver it was a really good experience. Mike was awesome, super friendly and professional. He even gave my husband a little bit of mechanic advice lol, thanks Mike!!! read more

Fast, friendly service along highway 99 to put on my spare tire that was dispatched from AAA.

I would like to compliment Chris from Ron's Towing. He got to us quickly was able to take care of our problem and get us home safely. Not all people would be able get the job smoothly with a lifted Ford F250 heavy duty with large tires with a broken steering box. Chris is a true asset to this company. read more

Horrible customer service/dispatch employees! Called at 10:30am was told 45. I waited for a hour called at 11:30 was told they had to do another towing should be there shortly waited again. At this point it had been an hour and a half from the initial phone call so I called back and they said sorry the drivers are really busy with other tows. I asked if it would be better to cancel tow then or if a discount would be applied since it had been so long waiting for them and they said no! If we wanted to wait ANOTHER half an hour for them to get here. This could have been handled very differently. If you need any towing done call nicks towing they were very helpful and prompt! read more

I had a great experience with Ron's Towing. We were in Madera ca. on sat 5-28-2011 and needed a tow truck .Our friend had two flat tires, so we call AAA. They sent out JERRY, who was the most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable driver there could be. He put air in both tire and we were on our way. He could have shook his head and said 'sorry folks, can't help you'. but he didn't. Thanks Jerry for your courteous help.Hope Ron know how lucky he is to have you as an employee. read more

This is the WORST towing company on island. Dont even think about calling them. My AAA used them the first time and they said 10 - 15 minutes. IT was more than 1 hour in the rain waiting for this tow. They had excuses the whole time while texting updates to say be there in 10 more minutes. Now on our 2nd tow that was set up days ago, they were assigned to pick up the car at 7 AM so I was there waiting. Finally 50 minutes later they said they could not get their own tow truck started & would be there in two hours. This is NOT a company this is a joke. I will never use them again. read more

My camper trailer blew it's tread on the freeway. I called Good Sam (What A Joke) service and they said they they would call me back in 30 minutes. They didn't call me back so I Yelp'd road service from Yelp app. Called one other company who had 1 review. That person was rude and expensive. I called Ron's and they answered phone right away, we're very polite, quoted me a reasonable price, and said they could be at my location in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, a professional, friendly, service person named Héctor showed up and had my trailer jacked up and tire replaced in very short time. Great Service!!!, Friendly, and they charged me the price they quoted. Highly recommend them! read more

I seldom write reviews about a towing company but the service that I received tonight from the Driver, Mike, was hands down the best experience Ive ever had with AAA or any towing company. He arrived within 15 minutes of my call. He was very efficient and had my car up on the truck and fully tied down within 5 minutes. Mike was extremely efficient. I was on a 400 mile drive heading North to Sacramento from Los Angeles. He literally had me at my final destination within 20 minutes of my arrival had I not even called a tow truck. Mike was also extremely professional, clean and the truck was immaculate. Ive been in many tow trucks in my 28 years with AAA and never before had I received an all around A+ service. read more

Mike from Ron's Towing and Road Service was amazing. Super fast and excellent, excellent customer service. Called said he was in his way and arrived before his ETA that AAA roadside had given us. I have geico. They called Ron's towing to pick me up. They stated it would be about 30 mins. That was almost 2 hours ago. So I call Ron's towing to see what's taking so long. I get this reply: "I'm sorry. I forgot to dispatch the tow truck. They are on their way." Really? What kind of BS stupidity is that. Your job is to just dispatch a tow truck. I mean, that's where you make your money right? Let's just skip potential income. It's not like the person stranded on the side of the highway has anything better to do on a Tuesday morning. Maybe they are missing out on potential income as well. Yea. Until they fire the dispatcher, I'd stay away. read more
