The Torque Club is ok, but consistently going downhill . The Torque Club is supposed to be an semi-upscale, top shelf experience for $1K for a weekend event. It is not delivering that level of experience. I considered a one star, but the staff outside the kitchen staff, especially the main Chef and the Beverage manager would drive this place to a single one. Absolutely horrible food quality, food selection, drink selection and service.! Avoid paying any money to this Torque Club until they completely replace the Chef, and Food and Beverage Manager (or whoever is responsible for the Torque Club and other suites. When I first started going to the Torque Club, there was a full salad bar, snack food (bar food: wings, fingers), meat and cheese table put all day. The meals were of significant higher quality, such as prime rib for dinner and the dinner stretched from the pre-driver announcement to after race green flag. Food was out the whole time. This spring which was representative of the last couple of years. Food was cold, slow to come out, of extremely poor quality and of extreme BAD quality! Five years ago the Torque Club was some what worth the money, had a very good chef and the experience was ok.
Now....AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Until they replace the chef (fire her and her contract....absolutely the WORST experience; and fire the gal in charge of the food and beverage department!!!). There are people at RIR who are working hard to make a difference and these to gals are KILLING the experience.
I've been to a few NASCAR tracks. Skip RIR completely until the Torque Club is reinvented. There are several other tracks to enjoy until RIR gets fixed.
I don't know the two gals personally, but I do see and observe their absolute FAILURE in the Torque (aka: TortureClub). So unfortunate.l, as there are many people and managers at RIR who are trying to make it a great experience.
I stayed away from only a one or zero (if I could) because there are a lot of people who are trying to make it a good experience. Torque Club is NOT meant to be a burger and dog experience; I can get that in the bleachers. Burgers and dogs should be all day, with high quality cut prime rib level catering at lunch and dinner.
Again...AVOID spending your hard earned $$$$ until the experience is upgraded back to some level of MINIMUM quality. read more
