We just bought a house and most of the screens were ruined. One phone call, they came out, gave us a great estimate and we had new screens in just a few days. Excellent service.!! read more

As a real estate broker, repair requests are very common during a sale transaction. I recently helped a client sell their Eastlake Home in Chula Vista. The sliding screen door was missing and my clients never replaced it. But during the escrow, the buyers requested a few minor repairs to the home. We happily obliged and having a new screen door installed was on the to-do list. I contacted Geoff at Torpin Screen Company and had an excellent experience. He provided a very fair quote for the project and assured me our timeline would be met. Technician Frank took care of the install and re-screened another window for us. Nothing but a perfect experience all the way around. I will be calling Torpin next time I need screen service and recommend you do too. read more

They did a great job in my screen But damaged the surrounding trim of the home. I've been texting the contractor and it's been over a week without response. They have the best price and quickest response. I'm having a bad experience with them fixing the damage. I don't mind changing this review but this is not professional of this company to do this. Especially since I referred so many homes in my neighborhood to this company. read more

They did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Very pleased. Saw them on Yelp... we were directed to this company. The prices were competitive but what really stood out was the customer service. read more

We recently had new turf installed and was told by the installer that we needed to ensure that we didn't have any reflections from our picture window as it could damage the new turf. They had recommended Torpin's. We called them up and got our quote. They were fast and easy to deal with. The new screens look wonderful. read more

I'm a person that not only demands, but deserves the finest that life has to offer. That said, I can tell you in all honesty that Torpin knows screens, as well as, screen terminology. The company that installs my turf recommended Turpin to install screens that would puliverize the glare reflecting off my windows in an effort to burn my turf. Not only do the screens look great, but they thwarted all efforts by the Sun to ruin my turf. Torpin also repaired a sliding screen door for me. I thought it was a bit pricey until I saw the results...they were far beyond expectations! read more

For more than 20 years, Torpin's has been our "go to" for screen repair, as well as for new retractable (invisible) screens, at various properties we've owned. Great people, professional service, always satisfied! read more

Great experience. The Screens and screen doors look great! I shouldn't have waited so long to get them done. read more

I am so glad to have this opportunity to commend Torpin Screen Company. They are absolutely first-class. I had purchased Phantom Screens for my front and back doors about 24 years ago, and I constantly had problems getting service for them by the previous company, and found out that not all companies service retractable screens. A friend recommended Torpin Screen Company, and it turned out to be such a blessing to me, over the years. I recently had a problem with my front door screen, call Torpin for service, and a lady named Katherine came to my aid. I know they are very busy, and Katherine worked her magic to get me on the schedule as soon as possible. What a true professional, she is. Katherine assigned "Tom", and he was absolutely wonderful! Tom is proficient, very thorough, takes care of every detail, to ensure the doors are operating efficiently, and his integrity is evident in each step he takes. Tom is the best repairman I have ever had, and he is a credit to Torpin as their representative, and a definite blessing to me. They are 'keepers'!!! Please try these folks, you will never look back. They all absolutely believe in service, and Tom and Katherine are prime examples. Well done, I'm very grateful to be a customer!!! read more

Showed up on time, great quality screens and all metal frames (no plastic) and no surprise costs. Definitely recommend!

Great work! Really adds to the look while helping keep cool in the heat. These guys were even nice enough to help me realize the terrible job the other workers did to the vinyl on my windows. Would highly recommend! read more

Another company (mt helix screen)recommended this company as they did not service retractable screen doors . (Mirage) Lucky for us, we were directed to this company. The prices were competitive but what really stood out was the customer service. We highly recommend this company for great customer service ,reasonable prices and quality of product and installation. Within a week all 11 windows were rescreened and 2 retractable double doors and 1 single door replaced and serviced. read more

We got a price quote from same company, from 2 different people . Same product , the person who came and took measurements gave a price quote of 2,700$ . Another person called me and informed she is from the same company and emailed me the quote of 6000$ !!!! I did confirm that both of them work for same company. Such a big difference!!! read more

Derek came out to measure, gave us an estimate, and between the price and the great reviews we didn't bother to look further. As promised, Derek followed up in two weeks and schedule a prompt appointment to install our new retractable screens - we had five old screens replaced and a new one put on our front (double) doors...huge improvement in our quality of life! The screens Derek installed were superior to the previous ones! Thanks again, Derek and company! :) read more

Quality work, efficient in getting the replacement and install done. Super nice to work with. We had turf installed and needed uv screens for some windows- these look great, work really well, and Torpin did a great install job. We then ended up having Torpin replace all Of our screens including 3 sliding screen doors. They're smooth, lock well, and the screen material is such a great quality (important for kids and dogs). Would definitely recommend Torpin and will use again. read more

We hired Pacific Concrete to install turf in our back yard and they recommended Torpin's Screen Company to install the screens to protect the turf. The screens that were on our house were in desperate need of replacement so had them replace the screens on all the windows! Our sliding glass door screen was also destroyed, I mean really destroyed, so we had them also replace it with a much better quality one that also has a metal guard on the bottom! Punctual, quick, efficient, communitive, professional, I could go on and on about how great this company is. Thank you so much for all of your hard work! We really appreciate it and love the new screens! read more

Expensive! Expensive! Expensive! I am sure the quality of what they do is excellent, but I cannot justify spending $250 for a replacement window screen, when I paid $350 for the whole window. read more

We used Torpin to get Sun Screens on our home windows. They were fast reliable and reasonably priced!

There's not much that's more annoying than having a company come out for a quote, then never delivering it. I had Torpin's out for a custom pleated or retractable quote. The sales person came over, we masked-up the entire house, he talked his game for 25 minutes, committed to a quote by the end of the day. 8 days later, no quote, no call, no email. Disappointing. read more

Loved working with Torpin, I unfortunately never had the opportunity to meet with them face to face due to work. This didn't stop them from giving me a great quote, measurements, and great service. In less than a week I had new screens, and had them installed on site without me even being home. I t really speaks volumes about a company how they work without a client breathing down their neck. My technician was Thomas and he was absolutely great. No more glare off my windows potentially damaging or melting my artificial turf! read more

We really love the house we bought in 2016, but it came with many flaws we've remedied in increments. Among those flaws: dilapidated window screens and patio door screen sliders, and hideous rusting security doors. Torpin Screen Company replaced all of our screens with amazingly tough screens that even our cats can't damage. The ghastly security doors were replaced by great looking screen doors. Just those upgrades transformed the look of our house, from both outside and inside. The turnaround was quick, the price was very reasonable, and the overall craftsmanship was excellent, and they're really nice folks. Highly recommended! read more

Geoff was amazing to work with! He came out to do an estimate at the beginning of the week and we had our new screens and screen door installed by that weekend. Torpin's was prompt with replies and easy to work with. Great quality screens. Highly recommend! read more

About a year and half after the original installation of sunscreens, a very windy rainstorm blew off one of the larger sunscreens. I was surprised that the sunscreen blew off the window because all of the clips were still intact. Since the sunscreen that below off got bent while falling into my neighbor's backyard, Geoff built a replacement sunscreen and installed it with extra clips. No charge for the replacement sunscreen. I'm a happy customer. Thanks Geoff! read more

It was a pleasure working with Torpin, a great friendly family business. Built us some beautiful sturdy screens and did a great install on the front of our house two stories. Quick turn around. We needed a new sliding screen door and Torpin Screen Company came out and gave us great options with fair pricing. They were able to schedule the installation quickly and were clean and quick. We love the new screen door and couldn't recommend this company enough. We were then looking for a screen door for the front door to get some better airflow through the house, and again they came out with several options, with fair prices, and we quickly agreed and the installation was done quickly and they cleaned up any mess left after the install.
