When our family was in a time of need she would pester us with calls and give ridiculous fees in order to change flight timings. We paid over $3200 in fees just for some flight changes. They are very useful if you call them, they send very detailed emails and do follow ups if you have something on hold in a timely fashion. On one of my trips I had to postpone my fight thanks to visa delays (no longer an issue with my Canadian passport!) and my travel agent with Gala was very helpful in hooking me up with the best alternate flight and while I had to pay a fee it was a painless process overall. So if you have a trip to Asia coming up I would heavily recommend checking out Gala, their website is very useful and you can see their good rates straight away. And yes I was able to collect aeroplane miles too on my fight.

Purchase your Ghibli Museum tickets from this organization!…read more If you wish to visit the Ghibli Museum of the famed Miyazaki/Ghibli Studio while in Tokyo, you have to get the tickets ahead of time as none are sold at door. You are able to pre-order the tickets through the Japanese convenience store chain Lawson - but the tickets could be hard to obtain because they book up quickly two-month in advance. JTB was a great pleasure to communicate with (via email): they made sure we got the correct confirmation, and gave us detailed instruction as to how to redeem the tickets (the ones you got through the website are vouchers). They also offered discounted JR-Pass for foreigners (which you should get if you are travelling in Japan for more than 3 weeks). PS. JTB is part of a private travelling agency group, but their prices are far better than others.

Wonderful Service from CAA!…read more I am writing this review to tell of the terrific service I received from CAA associate Yousf N. He was prompt, professional and explained the process of fixing my car clearly and concisely. He could have left after he fixed the first problem, but Yousf insisted that we drive the car together just to make sure nothing else was wrong. I am so glad that he suggested this, because while driving we discovered another, more serious problem. He cheerfully towed me to the nearest garage, and remained with me until I was seen by the mechanic there. FYI, I'm an old white lady who doesn't know much of anything about cars. I think Yousf was my guardian angel today. Shukran awi, Yousf! Alhamdulillah!
