Not sure why all the bad reviews. The service was good and for the amount of food. Probably the best deal price wise on the island. Our chef was fun and entertaining and loved to squirt his sake at you!! What's better than free Sake? Don't go off the bad reviews, go in and have a meal . We have a family of 4 and it was under $100.00 that's not bad. At home we would of easily spent over $100. Good job guys

I love Habachi... it's one of my favorites. And so I've experienced a number of Hibachi restaurants and this one rates low on the ladder. The show was good... but it was missing some of the regular things that is just expected with a hibachi restaurant. 1. NO chop sticks. For real! This seems like an absolute no brainer. So I ate my food with a fork. 2. NO salad or dessert. I can skip the dessert, but no salad? This is kind of 101. 3. Slow drink service. It was also crazy that the chef kept offering saki from a plastic bottle (like a restaurant ketchup bottle) where he would spray the saki into your mouth. I kind of felt like I was at a frat party.... which I guess is what you want if you're on vacation. But not necessarily what you want on vacation with your kids. They had "fruit juice" that they did for the kids... but I really don't want some stranger teaching my kids how to do creative shots. That all said, the meal was good, the show was fun and I got some laughs in.

Small but great!! Prompt service & food was excellent. Will go again!!!!!!! Not sure why there is such a bad rating for Toro.

Sushi and sapporo is a great option if you're not into having the hibachi.

For us this place is a five for a vacation, amusement park meal option. We have been coming here…read moresince the kids were very small and we all enjoy our meals. I love the squirt gun saki and baby saki (although this time the baby saki was water and not soda so one child was a bit sad). We love the meal performance. The food has always been good here. This time we got chicken, steak, salmon, and shrimp, and it all tasted great. I love the yum yum sauce. The prices are the same as all equivalent steak houses I have been to, so it is not more for a resort. It is a great location, and offers a nice reprieve from walking around a park all day or being outside all day. One of the other comments stated you had to be on property to take reservations and they do not do phone reservations. This is false from the experience. We have always called them back in the day, and I called them last week from home for a Saturday reservation with no issues. The menu has a lot of great options and I have enjoyed their drinks before in the past. The portions are great for vacationers because although I am a leftover queen, they do not have give salad here, only soup. They do not offer noodles here, only rice. So the portion is a bit smaller than when I go closer to home where I can take home leftovers, but still the portion is large and filling. We do look forward to coming back and treating ourselves.

One thing I didn't like was them squirting saki into the guests mouths and one of the men thought it was water and didn't know it was alcohol. They probably should warn people. In any event, it was fun and delicious and it's right at the Breakers hotel Cedar Point.

Okay guys seriously!! There's a few poor reviews on here and I do try to keep an open mind. Well…read more.. now you have a Yelp Elite telling you to STAY AWAY!! At least until they have some serious changes!! First off it is WAY overpriced! My husband had the teriyaki steak for $18!! As you can see by the photo, this included a small handful of extremely overcooked bits of beef. I ordered a chicken dish just to be told they were out of chicken. They were also out of the 8oz steak special. I got the firecracker sushi roll which was supposed to have jalapeño. Not sure where that went. Before our meal we got the absolute worst wilted (not intentionally) iceberg and cucumber salad with an awful ginger dressing. It was bitter. Then the miso soup was actually miso broth with green onions and it tasted much more like water then miso. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The services was subpar as well. She never asked us how we liked our food, never checked on us actually. Then we had to sit and overhear the servers talk about their poor tips. Gee I wonder why? I have to say the ambiance is pretty perfect actually but it only adds to how disappointing the food is. With such a beautiful building, this location should be a serious hot spot! I will say they appear to be clean. I usually rate on a scale... okay food 1 star, service 1 star, ambiance 1 star because it set me up for disappointment, cleanliness 4 stars. I think it's safe to say, this location gains one star! Points for improvement: if you're going to charge $18 for a steak dish... serve a steak to the customer's desired temp. And if you're going to serve miso soup and a salad make sure it's fresh and well executed. Stop using a microwave and make the food fresh!! Research authentic Asian cuisine and just execute it better. Okay I just left the bathroom. Check the picture. I'm done here.

Specifically inquired before ordering and was told center cut and 2 oz more. When they went to cook it, we ordered all 3 medium rare. The cook put all 3 steaks together on the hibachi and cooked them to medium- bordering on medium well done. Then he divided the steak up between the 3 of us giving 1 person a few more pieces I guess because it was the Imperial. I advise you to skip the Imperial as it's not the center cut filet mignon. When the bill came and they boxed left overs up, they offered yum yum sauce which we asked for. Was given empty containers, never came back with sauce. Wasn't acknowledged by the 3 women at the desk when we left. All in all average. Not friendly, but not rude. Just indifferent, and not overly attentive. My son does
