    My Beautiful Ibis!!
    Tommy C.

My breaks had given out when I was flying down a mountain in Toro. That scared me, so I stopped by their shop and asked them to take a look. Steve started working on it immediately and Tim started making me a Vanilla Latte. We chit chatted, Steve found the problem (my breaks had bubbles). He worked on the breaks while I sipped on my latte... few minutes later he was done... he charged me $10 for the repair and I was good to go. That was fun! Now its 6 months later and I'm about to go back for a different, unrelated problem my bike is having! Love these guys!!

Good bike shop. Best bike shop in town. Great bike shop in Toro. They don't sell coffee anymore, just bikes.

Not exactly my forte. Skate shops can have an intimidating environment and as a newbie going into a bike shop i felt that vibe in alot of places... valley bikes was the way bills wheels felt when i first walked in years ago. Not trying to make a sale but just trying to make sure that we get to enjoy the passion as they do. I regret not actually getting the names of these fellas, but i went to a couple bike shops, looking to get info and direction in what i need to do as a person who has to ride a bike out of necessity for leg rehabilitation. Perhaps i will become a bike person. Learning proper care and just being educated on the product i am purchasing has always been important to me. Not very many shops could even give me the time of day with how booming the bicycle business is during covid. I walked in and out of a couple bike stores but valley bikes did it right and really gave me a great greeting as a new customer. i felt welcome and helped me get set up and going on the path to healing my leg through riding a bicycle. I cant thank them enough and valley bikes will be my only shop worth visiting. Thanx boiz!

Rooster Wheels seems to be more of a mobile service now as their Marina location is currently closed. Izzy came to me to work on my bike. William and Izzy were very helpful and responsive. Perhaps the bigger places prey on tourists but Rooster Wheels Bike Shop is a true hole-in-a-wall in the best sense possible. On a random weekday afternoon, we got there as a dad and his two daughters were happily loading bikes into their car. One guy was finishing up his transaction and three more potentials customers came by...all while we had only been there the short time we were there. All this to say that William was juggling many things at once from repairs to sales to rentals and yet he never rushed anyone (including us). He seemed so kind and honest and very down to earth. He checked every single bike, filled tires with air as needed, and even let me have a wrench to adjust one of the bikes. Who does that?!??? So awesome. On the COVID front, he had the front roped off so customers aren't touching all the bikes, he wore a mask, & used sanitizer on every bike to disinfect and constantly sanitized his hands. Last random bit to share....William was great with my kids. Very gentle and encouraging to my younger kid by telling her she could learn to ride a bike and gave examples of his own kids learning at the ages they did! And his dog Pedal was such a well-behaved and sweet dog. If you're the kind of person that uses kids and dogs to gauge a person, let that be a nugget of info for you! What a lucky gem of a find for me and my family! We will be repeat customers. Thanks William!!!!
