On the exterior there was some nasty old alligatored paint on the porch that needed to be painted over and some window touchups. I was pleased to see that they were concerned about lead as we were. He had a HEPA vac and used drop clothes from getting any dust anywhere. We went away for a week and they worked hard throughout the whole time we were away. The ceilings were pretty hard to fix and he did a good job matching the existing texture that was there. He also offered to paint a small hall that we didn't originally include in the quote. All and all they were very professional, the quality was good, and the schedule was timely. I'd definitely recommend them to others.

The first time, a ceiling panel randomly fell down. (Not one they had worked on - we moved into a new house and a panel fell one night). They came out promptly and repaired. Then, another one fell down a couple weeks later, and again, Mario came right out, gave us a quote, and repaired! One of the pics is of the panel. Doesn't look like much because it's a white ceiling, but it's perfect! Then, we have this doorway/frame separating our living room and family room. We tore off the trim, my partner made an arch shape (to match the other doorways), and we asked Mario and his team to come drywall, plaster, and paint the whole entry way/sides/etc. They made it absolutely spectacular. It's just gorgeous and the rooms flow so beautifully now!!!!

When Monteiro came…read morefor the estimate, he looked at the paint chipping off our walls in the bedroom and bathroom, and said that patching and plastering had to be redone first before the room can be painted. He gave us a cost and time estimate for the job. While the cost of fixing the paint in both rooms was certainly more than we had expected, Monteiro guaranteed that the outcome would be worth every penny. We bit the bullet and went ahead with the job. Monteiro's wife, Rula, did a fantastic job scheduling the job and accommodating our busy schedule. In the end, both our downstairs guest bedroom and bathroom look beautiful - all the paint chips were gone, no uneven surfaces, everything had a clean and crisp look. We couldn't be happier with his work. This is why you should definitely consider hiring Monteiro for a paint job: - Free price estimates, - Good flexible scheduling - Arrives on time - Very conscientious and detail oriented about his work - Honest about what he can fix and what he cannot fix - Cleans up after himself - Minimal supervision required We are definitely planning to have Monteiro back for another paint job in the near future.
