This is in response to the response of Marcio Junior Of Master Plastering, Lowell, MA. I can confirm 100% that Marcio is lying in his long answer to my review. He doesn't handle criticism well and explodes yelling and he lacks knowledge about the jobs his company can do. His company may be good at plastering but that's it! The PEOPLE he hires are not professionals, they have no idea what they are doing at least in my home! Maybe he hires daily workers from the streets! I have plenty of proof about his unprofessional job and about his aggressive attitude answering complaints about his company job. Due to litigation I will only say that I have a Police report number, plenty of pictures,videos of the job his company performed and a cell recording of Marcio yelling and threatening behavior. Because it will be too long to write I will only write and show here the problem with the painting, not about the rest of the job. I talked to three different painting companies and they all said that the woodwork (baseboards, door frames and doors) should have been sanded and primed before you painted it. The people you hired definitely don't know what they are doing. They should not have painted over the woodwork without prepping it first. The quality of the paint you used has nothing to do with it. I asked you to refund me for the cost of the new painting I have done by a professional painter and you refused, moreover, you asked me to pay you to fix your error. Unhear off! August 2024: Hired Marcio and team for a 2nd time. Had ceiling work, wallpaper removal, repair walls, and paint. His team does great work ant a reasonable price, and always with urgency. I'm never waiting for his team to finish and get onsite. Highly recommend! Thank you again. read more

If you need drywall installed, patched and painted, they are great. However, if you need any other carpentry or minor construction work done, then look somewhere else. They will attempt to do it, but do a really poor job. read more

crew came out unmasked. left an absolute mess in our yard. clumps of plaster were left in our yard. our sink in the pantry was wrecked and they continued to use the sink in our kitchen for mixing plaster after we told them several times to not use it. ceiling has already cracked in 3 months. we're currently 3 days out of the 3 month warranty. vendor wanted $300 to fix it. the gatekeeper was useless. supervisor would not pick up call. there was absolutely ZERO response to multiple inquires (all read, hence the 2 blue check marks) via the what's app function in their webpage. find someone who will stand behind their work. this company clearly doesn't. read more

The paint job was a complete disaster! They may be good at plastering but I hired this company to install a pantry and to paint my entire condo at Woburn, MA. Marcio and his secretary are very prompt in sending the quote but the people they hire have no idea what they are doing. They don't know anything about  CARPENTRY or PAINTING. Please don't get taken by their promptness in communication; it is the only thing they do right. They butchered the little carpentry they did and messed up the painting badly. We had to go back and forth so many times to fix the terrible job they did. Marcio is a very aggressive man that gets mad when the problems are mentioned. He yelled, insulted my sister in a threatening manner when she was showing him the mistakes. We ended up calling the police on him due to his aggressive behavior! We arranged for him to come give me an estimate, this was the last time I saw him. He never came to check on the crew or inspect the work. We agreed on a price and date for the job (soundproof insulation and new blueboard and plaster). The crew was on time, but only one of the crew spoke English so communication was difficult. They weren't great about wearing masks, we had to remind them more than once about wearing masks in the house. We found a mask hanging on the back of our bathroom door. They seemed to want to cut corners. When Marcio quoted us he said the new blueboard would go from baseboard to molding, but when they started work they wanted to leave about 10 inches on old sheetrock on the bottom of the wall. They also said they couldn't do behind the radiator in the bedroom, but they did behind the radiators in two other rooms. Once they were done they said we're done you should pay us now. We wanted to inspect the work and make sure we were satisfied before handing over a check (as was stated in our quote). They got very aggressive with me insisting I pay them, I felt very intimidated in my own home, so much so that I had to have my husband step in the deal with them. After he found a few issues he had them fix (including doing behind the radiator in the bedroom) we paid them and they left. The next day we noticed they had put a hole in our ceiling. They never mentioned it to us and tried to patch it but it looked terrible. We also noticed a part of one wall that they didn't sand. I contacted Marcio to ask him to fix it. I emailed and texted several times with no response. My husband called him on February 5 and he stated he was on vacation until February 22 and would come look at the damage when he returned. After weeks of texting, calling and emailing he never came by and it looks like he has blocked my number. I tried calling from another number and as soon as I said who I was he hung up. The last straw? We started to paint the bedroom where the work was done and discovered quarter inch holes under the windowsills where we would feel the breeze coming in! This work was done at the end of January, so who knows how much heat was lost due to this shoddy work. We gave him every opportunity to rectify the situation before posting a review. He clearly has no pride in his work and does not value customer service. He also seems to not respect women because he only responded to my husband, not me. read more

Marcio and his team did a fine job smoothing out, replastering and painting the walls and ceiling of our third floor. I wish I had a before picture so you could see how thick the texture was on the walls and ceiling. It is perfectly smooth now and painted perfectly. Marcio came immediately for an estimate and they were able to finish the work ahead of schedule. Overall, great price, very efficient and job well done! read more

I had a water stain in my ceiling so I needed it opened up to see what was going on. I had contacted a couple other places for quotes but they were way higher than the insurance claim adjuster said it should be. These guys came in much closer so I went with them. Honestly, they were great people for the job. There were three visits, one to open the ceiling (allowing me time to figure out what was going on), another to close up the ceiling, and then another to paint it.
