Strongly recommend Tang!…read more My tenants moved in and they found a couple of house keeping tasks 1. The sliding door in the balcony fell off and it wont even slide or couldn't put it back to the original location, heavily rusted. Tang fixed it and it can now slide without worrying about falling apart. 2. The insulator wall behind bathroom medicine cabinet also fell apart. He placed a new supporting backplate as you can see the picture 3. A small water leak under neath kitchen sink from the garbage disposal was also fixed by him. He completed all tasks about 1.5 hrs at the same day which is very efficient! Strongly recommend him!! Best! The price is also very reasonable as well. He will also send you the invoice immediately as well. Again awesome work! Thank you Tang!

We recently had our deck completely rebuilt by Boston Framers and we couldn't be happier with how…read moreit came out. We actually got their name directly from the deck manufacturer, who told us Boston Framers was excellent and highly recommended them. After working with them, I can see why. They started exactly when they said they would and showed up every day to keep the job moving. They even worked some weekends to get everything completed, which we really appreciated. Their carpenters were excellent. The workmanship was meticulous, the materials were all top quality, and you could tell they really cared about doing the job right. The price was very competitive, especially for the quality of work we received. I also made a few minor changes along the way, and they were very easy to work with and accommodated the changes without adding extra charges. It's not easy to find a contractor that is reliable, fairly priced, uses quality materials, and takes this much pride in their work. Boston Framers checked all those boxes for us. We're extremely happy with our new deck and would absolutely recommend Boston Framers to anyone considering a deck or other construction project. Five stars without hesitation.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

I found Mr. Handyman through Yelp's Projects feature. You type in some details on what you want…read moredone and Yelp connects you with local companies that can come and quote the job for you. Steve at Mr. Handyman reached out right away and asked me to call him to discuss the details. I called Steve to explain a job I needed done involving an access door from my garage. He explained what he thought would be the best approach and that one of his employees would give me a better idea when he arrived for the quote. Steve explained the pricing, hourly rate, etc. and that his employee would give me a final quote before starting any work. Derek arrived on time for the appointment (I also got a text when he was on his way which was a nice touch). We went through all the details together, he explained what he would do and the estimated cost. I agreed and he got to work. He did an excellent job and the door looks great. I asked about a second project involving our swing set which he thankfully had time to include. Again, he went over all the details and estimates before proceeding. The work quality was again absolutely excellent. Derek cleaned up his work area completely. The final price came in exactly where expected, which I will also say I think is a fair price for the length of time he was here and the quality of the work performed. He asked me about any other needs I had and gave me some documentation regarding the most common jobs his company handles in case I need anything in the future. I can't think of anything about the process that could have been improved here. I would definitely give them a call again if I need anything!
