I had an idea for a tattoo that represents my mom and decided that I should try her out, tell her my ideas, and see if I could book a future appointment. I went on Wednesday and asked for Nichole. It was her day off so I talked to the other artist (and I believe shop owner) Nelson. We talked about my idea for the tattoo, and how I was still thinking about placement. I have over 50 hours of work that's covered easily by clothes. I was thinking about placing it in a place that would be hard to cover and he said that he didn't think that was a good idea. We talked about placement ideas in regards to my other tattoos, and my ideas for future work in general. After talking to him for about 30 minutes and looking over his work I was completely sold. This guy is as legit as they come! He had an appointment available later in the day, and I was open so we decided there was no time like the present for a new piece of artwork. When I arrived at 3pm everything was set up and ready to go. 70s rock was playing (of course) and before starting he made it a point to go through each piece of equipment to show his sanitation standards. He is one of the cleanest artists I've ever been to. We went straight to work after that. He outlined with a 5 needle. The smallest needle I've ever had used on me. I'm not an outline girl so it was unpleasant, but it made beautiful, sharp, fine lines. He made me feel 1000% comfortable the whole time. The whole thing took 40-45 minutes. One of my fastest and most detail oriented tattoos! Nelson really makes you feel like he cares about you and his work the whole time! I'm very very happy with my experience there and will ABSOLUTELY go to Nelson again!

She was very clear about the entire process, the care for it, how long it might take, how much it might cost, the potential side effects, etc. - just incredibly professional, helpful and knowledgable overall. My tattoo is very small, but it's going to take a few treatments to remove...either way, I don't mind because Rachael's service and knowledge has been tremendous thus far. I followed Mary from her previous location and I'm so glad I did. Mary's work is beautiful, detailed, and incredibly precise. She was able to perfectly recreate my mother's handwriting and design it into a delicate bracelet on my wrist. I loved it so much that I later brought in a handwritten message from another very important person in my life, and Mary created a matching bracelet on my other wrist. I get compliments on them all the time. Someone once told me it was "creepy" to have handwriting tattooed on me, but after seeing Mary's work, they were moved to tears. That's the impact her work has. Mary is patient, kind, and takes the time to help you decide the best direction for a piece. Her pricing is reasonable, and you never feel rushed. She also did a cover-up for me, and most people can usually spot a cover-up, but no one has noticed this one. As long as Mary is tattooing in Reno, she will always be my go-to.

I was upset but didn't make a big deal of it because I also understand people make mistakes and have their own lives. I said it was ok but I I told him I would just like a refund of the $100 I sent and he told me they don't do refunds but he can honor my deposit for another day after about a couple weeks of waiting for him to reply we finally agreed on a new date. I show up at the time he tells me to be there and he's not there yet at that point I just didn't want this guy to tattoo me. very inconsiderate of peoples time and money so definitely would not choose this guy For a tattoo I'm now out $100 and still don't have the tattoo I wanted.
