My daughter got her braces when she was 10 by Dr Toppi, we moved 3 more times and she was dropped by other orthodontist in other states. Fast forward my husband retires, we moved to Utah, my daughter is 18 and still had braces. Dr. Toppi finished her treatment patiently with us as we navigated with multiple traveling back and forth to SD. I am grateful we stuck with him and the staff was amazing working with us in appointments flying in that same day sometimes. Unfortunately, I recently received an email informing me that I now have an outstanding balance due to a failure in their computer system. These charges date back as far as 2024 and were never brought to my attention at the time of service. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled. The lack of communication and accountability reflects poorly on the office's professionalism. Additionally, the staff member I have been working with has shown little concern for resolving the issue or addressing my concerns. As a result, I will no longer be returning to this facility. One of my friends experienced a very similar issue with this same Farmington location, which suggests this may not be an isolated incident. Because of these experiences, they have lost two families as patients. I believe this office needs to improve its billing practices, communication, and customer service. Patients should not be held responsible for years-old billing errors that resulted from the office's own system failures.

Dr. Cam Quayle has certainly helped us navigate and resolve our challenging situation, and he has proven to be one of the best! He is compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and has superb judgment. I have also found Mountain View Pediatric Dentistry to be competitively priced, fair, and honest. My 4-year-old daughter was seeing another dentist when we discovered she had significant dental challenges. In an attempt to resolve this complex problem, we visited with a few medical doctors and a couple pediatric dentists in the area and were strongly encouraged by a few of them to contact Dr. Cam Quayle for his professional opinion. I am aware that Mountain View Pediatrics has a very popular dental practice and was initially concerned I wouldn't be able to receive the care we needed in a timely manner. To my surprise, Dr. Cam was willing to see my daughter the same day I called his office. He spent a considerable amount of time evaluating my child, her past/present dental records, and gave us a thorough written analysis of her dental history and his recommended path forward.   The situation required IV sedation for several hours, and even though Dr. Cam was booked out for several weeks for IV sedation, he worked out a time with the nurse anesthetist to fit my daughter into their busy schedules as soon as possible. I also would like to mention how impressed I was with the nurse anesthetist, Marissa. She has a fantastic bedside manner and is very competent at what she does. They both stayed after hours and made whatever personal sacrifices were needed to make sure my daughter was taken care of in a timely manner. We are so happy with Dr. Cam's work and appreciate his compassion and unparalleled skills as we worked through this challenging problem. My daughter loves Dr. Cam, and surprisingly has no apprehension about going to the dentist. I am impressed with the thoroughness in preventative care. Dr. Schweppe spends ample time with my kids and patiently explains my options when my kids have had issues. The staff is professional and quickly cleans teeth and remembers that two of my kids have very sensitive gag reflexes. They use extra suction and rinse and explain to my kids what is happening so they can prepare for each phase. The office is clean and tidy with current varied magazines for parents to enjoy. The exam rooms are all equipped with distractions for the kids to keep them still. Each visit concludes a prize and praise from Dr. Schweppe and his staff. I told her my insurance covered dental and she continued to tell me I was wrong. Turns out I was right, I just had to go through the trouble of calling my insurance and letting her talk to them. Every time I called I had to talk to her and each time was treated rudely. All I wanted to do was make sure that my insurance actually would cover the services for my kids dental care. Weird that I want to pay the cheapest amount cause I have insurance... 2. My kid had 5 cavities. The doctor didn't even offer to fix them without putting him under first. I didn't feel comfortable with this. He didn't reccomend laughing gas or any other way. I felt very uncomfortable with this option and I ended up finding another dentist that did my kids cavities in 15 min without numbing and only laughing gas. I'm glad I trusted my gut.
