Very cool place with a great vibe. A great addition to High St. Although this place has been here for 4 years, it is tucked back on High Street so I've never noticed it. They do not have food here but they have beer, cocktails and of course cigars. You can go into their cigar room and pick out your cigar and the bartenders will cut/light it for you to your liking. They make a great old fashion and have plenty of beer options on tap. We were pleased with the service. read more

Torch...what word can I use to describe Torch? First word that comes to mind is Classy. Torch is an amazing cigar bar with a pretty decent variety of top of the line cigars and a bar area that offers a wide range of cognac, scotch, whiskey,tequila and wine. They have an outside patio area with a fire pit that is gorg. Along with live music on some of the weekends. Reminds me of a Chitown cigar bar I use to frequent. Crowd is very diverse...from athletes to everyday folks like me... lol. I said everyday folks not normal! Ha Owners Jon and Kelly are super welcoming and their staff helps to set a very inviting tone and environment. The name Torch is very fitting. I'm surprised the reviews of this establishment are so good. It was average, in my opinion. But let's start with the good stuff! The drink we had was AMAZING! A New York sour! Often a drink not made correctly or well-finding a place that makes it exceptionally was quite a treat!!!! Great job! The seating was nice, comfy chairs, lots of places to sit-good for singles, couples or even groups, and although the day was a bit too hot- the patio was amazing! The bar itself was too bright. Too much light, not relaxing and not what was expected in a cigar bar. We drive up from Tucson and expected big things! The place was VERY pricey, and the cigar selection was so limited. I could tell they catered to the regulars who store their sticks in the humidor which left very little room for retail cigars and the choices I had just weren't great. We settled on one that was alright, but if we come back it's a place we would bring our own. 2 drinks 2 cigars = $60, we were one and done. Would return if in the area but won't go out of my way to come in again. read more

Wow! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I've been here a few times and it's been great. On entry, you are greeted by a hostess near a wall of wine. Artistic lighting and comfortable leather seats fill the room before you. Forward and to the left is their humidor, which has a decent selection of cigars, however nothing compared to my home shop Magnums. To the right, a square shaped bar that services their patio and the interior. At the far side is their bathrooms, which are immaculate. The only place I know that gives you real hand towels and a gorgeous sink to wash your hands in! Service: I've never had a bad experience here. Usually an employee will help assist you in a cigar selection. The bartenders are great, I'm mainly a beer guy, so I wouldn't take my recommendation on any mixed drink unless it's a martini or scotch. Normally when I show up, it's because I've picked my buddy up and it's too late to go to magnums. Of the hand full of times I've been there the staff remembers my friend and I and they have been very friendly. Selection: Their selection of cigars has improved since the initial onset of the business, however it is still small. Their members' lockers take up a massive amount of their humidor. Their alcohol selection is also limited as well, tending to lean towards the most common names and party beverages. To the plus side though, if you want a bloody Mary, you can get one here! The place looks great and the staff is very friendly. The only reason that this truly gets a four star is the selection category. I really do like that they keep closer to bar hours, reliably closing at 2. If you are in the area and haven't tried it out, I recommend Torch! read more

Just moved to Arizona and have been exploring new places. Being that I'm an avid cigar smoker, after a night out on the town I asked my Uber driver to take me and a group of friends to a good cigar lounge, he suggested Torch Cigar Bar. Now being that I'm from L.A. I wasn't expecting a whole lot. Let me explain, you see in L.A everything is heavily regulated which means you pretty much can't do s--t. Cigar lounges with a full bar in L.A. are far and few between. To be honest I have never visited such a place in L.A. Whenever I've visited a cigar lounge in L.A. it's a small room with a few chairs, one flatscreen and senior citizens, aka "cotton tops" sitting around smoking. So like I said earlier I wasn't expecting much. So our driver dropped us off right in front and my first expression upon entering the place I was completely thrown back. Let me paint a picture, this place is well lit, well ventilated, upscale, with a real full bar, a nice humidor with a good selection of cigars and plenty of young beautiful women actually smoking cigars. THIS IS A VERY WOMEN FRIENDLY PLACE. I was very impressed and highly recommend Torch Cigar Bar, they are much deserving of five stars. read more

Dropped in to pick up a couple cigars, wow the prices are like Orange County California! This is North Phoenix and the prices are crazy high for cigars, the selection is very limited also. I came back on a Sunday afternoon, mind you this place is a 30 minute drive for me, to meet up with some friends. I checked the hours online ahead of time and they said they would be open till 10. It would be great to rate the cigar bar HIGHER but we never got past the host. We had planed an evening out and called to make sure the bar was open SEVERAL DAYS PRIOR. I was told yes they were open, I was worried they were closed for a private event. The person on the phone told me they would be open it was UFC fight but would have availably to people to come in. We showed up after dinner ready for a drink and a cigar. We were told it was a $20 cover. To bad the person FAILED to disclose the cover. We had no desire to watch the fight we just wanted to enjoy a drink and a cigar. We choose to find another place to spend the evening. No second chances for this Cigar bar. Real nice place on High street with nice seating and separate areas where you can come with friends, have a cigar and a drink and watch a game. This place was pretty great, affordable and fun. The only thing I'd advise is to have a cocktail waitress on staff and not just a bartender so that when people are seated away from the bar drinks get refilled. read more

Great location, pretty much right off the 101 at 51st St. Excellent layout too, with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Service can sometimes dip to the 2- or 3-star levels, but mostly hovers in that 4-star spot. Nice selection of drinks. One major flaw is the laughably small selection of cigars. The humidor is largely filled with "members lockers", leaving what is probably the minimum selection of cigars. That said, what they do have are mostly solid brands, so it's not a deal-breaker. Prices aren't unreasonable, either. read more

I absolutely love torch cigar bar. I met a few girlfriends here and we sat out on the back patio and enjoy the fire. They have a great selection of alcohol and cigars for just about any aficionado. The wine selection here is absolutely fantastic. But watch out if you get a really good one the price tag per glass will be out there ($20) but I promise it will be worth it. read more

Though the atmosphere is great, and the selection good, the Cigar Concierge, John, steered my buddy and I to a very harsh cigar when we were looking for mild. We took them off site so being able to provide feedback in person at the time was not possible. I stopped by the next day to discuss the matter however they weren't open yet. We described in detail what we were looking for... we routinely light up an Ashton, which they don't carry. Backup is usually a Fuente, which they have, however as we all know, are a lower price point. We are convinced that they steered us to this other "special brand" due to the high price, not the flavor. read more

We used to love this place. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing bourbons. The last time my husband and I were there which was a week ago, on a Friday evening between 8 and 9pm. There was this extremely intoxicated annoying customer that was throwing cushions from the outside couches up into the air...amongst other things. Staff apologized to us but nothing was done. Staff and friends seemed to be talking to this guy and trying to get him to settle down but it didn't work and he was allowed to stay. My husband and I left. We are not prudes but if we were looking for this type of atmosphere we would have went to Sand Bar. There is a time and a place and this was not it. Unfortunately, we won't be going back. read more

The drinks are great and I was extremely impressed with their old fashioned. I've been twice now as I just recently discovered the Torch Cigar Bar but I am definitely coming back. I went there Saturday night after my birthday party to show some of my friends this place to end the night with a cigar and some drinks. I Met the owner too he was really nice!
