Stopped in to buy a gift for a friend. I know nothing about cigars, but the gentleman at the counter was so sweet, kind, and helpful! He helped me pick out a small chunk cigar for a reasonable price. Amazing selection and overall a very fine establishment. 10/10 read more

Ambassador Fine Cigars - We enjoyed our time in the new El Septimo Lounge inside of Ambassador Fine Cigars - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Ambassador fine cigars is without a doubt the finest humidor in the Valley of the Sun. The staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly and everyone who works there cares about the customer experience. If you are looking for something in particular, or perhaps a slightly more esoteric selection All you have to do is ask there are gems hidden in that humidor. They have a tiny but capable bar. read more

Stopped by on a recent trip to the Phoenix area. I wanted to escape the heat and find a cool indoor space to enjoy a stick. Had heard about the lounge from fellow BOTL back in a California lounge. (Glad I saved the name of the place in my notes). Their humidor has a huge selection and their employees were very knowledgeable. The lounge looks fantastic and the atmosphere was very chill. Watched the NBA finals with a laid-back group. I had a Liga Privada 9 and a Plascenia 149. Overall the lounge was very comfortable and the cigar prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the area. read more

I've traveled all over the world smoking at cigar lounges and this by far rates number one. Their selection is amazing. Met the owner greatest guy ever. Amazing Cigar selection. Has loads of premium cigars. Oh and the bar was outstanding with good pours. This is a real cigar lounge read more

Shipping was late for my poker game, in spite of the message to send asap. I notice they switch to UPS ground saver now instead of USPS 3 day priority. Maybe they save couple of dollars on shipping, but what's the point if you can't fulfill an order satisfactory. I left a message for owner Voltan and didn't even get a courtesy reply. I won't buy from this store again after many years. When the staff and owner don't care about your business, it's time to give another local business the opportunity. read more

Great cigar selection, and some nice options if you want to smoke in one of Ambassador's Lounge areas.

I love the store. Don't get me wrong. I just hate being hovered over like I stole sometimes when I go into the humidor. I want to look at every cigar without being bothered or pushed to buy something. I did buy one box here I probably would've bought tons more. I also bought a cutter a week and a half later the cutter broke Spent 50 bucks on that thing don't give me wrong. I will go back here fantastic atmosphere just a little pushy. read more

This is my new go to cigar lounge! This has to be the most impressive cigar lounge around. Not only is it luxurious, but it's also very big on an array of cigars and the quality too! Mr. V is a class act. Showed me the lounges that you can go to enjoy your favorite cigar, meet new people, watch your favorite sports team all while drawing on your cigar. They also, have a members only lounge that is exquisite!!!! This place is down to detail!!!! There is only one thing that I can say..... get yourself into Ambassador Cigars and experience it all !!!! Thank you Mr. V. read more

Educated and knowledgeable staff, awesome ambience and vibe inside. Private section for members as well. Great spot

I stopped in for the first time today and had a captivating experience. I am a younger guy and have been smoking cigars for years, although due to being in my 20's, some cigar lounges are not too inviting and can come off as unwelcoming. The two gentlemen working today were very respectful and hospitable. I was welcomed immediately and even given a tour of the separate lounges they have. I smoke 10-20 boxes of cigars a year, and this place stocked many of my favorite smokes. They carry one of the best selections of Non-Cuban premium cigars in the valley. The interior reminds me of cigar lounges in NYC, with the tall cabinets and glass displays. I will surely be back. read more

Vartan knows... this is less a cigar shop and more a cigar showroom. This is the best place to find premium, hand rolled, hard to find selective cigars. Even better than a place where service is number one, is a place where they know you by name and your cigar preferences. There's a reason why Vartan has been a business more than 25 years. read more

If you're looking for a 5 star cigar shopping experience, this is it. Vartan is the expert and can guide your cigar selection. Extensive inventory. Brandon and Christina are also great as well. Lounge area is comfortable, great for relaxing and watching tv. Its a very warm and inviting atmosphere and its my #1 place to go for a smoke. The epitome of class and service. Ambassadors is a place where time truly stands still. I was in this past weekend and can state equivocally that the art of customer service is alive and well. Made two purchase online Called to see why it was on hold for 4 days Owner vartan said i was speaking loud which i assure you i was very polite He continued to say he doesn't need our money and used profanity Very unpleasant and rude Especially being the owner saying he doesn't care about customer service and he doesn't like most his clients!!? Very sad Dont buy here read more

I have stopped at their peoria locations probably 10 plus times. I have brought in all of my friends as well, many of which never have smoked a cigar. I asked their manager for a few recommendations and was told that the infused cigar that I like are of shit tobacco quality. Seeing as these are the only type of cigars I can handle, this was a very off putting experience. If you plan on bringing someone new to cigar smoking stay away from this location as they don't care to help with your recommendations. read more

This is the finest cigar store I have ever been in. The customer service is outstanding. They will help you pick out cigars even if you have limited knowledge. They are customer focused and really know their trade. An amazing selection in their humidor of any great brand you would want. Comfortable chairs and if you become a member, an impressive and exclusive private section including a beautiful fully stocked bar. Their other location is as nice if not better for walkins. The owner is a gentleman and they really make you feel like you matter as a customer which is rare in today's times. Try them - you'll like it. read more

Quite the selection of cigars. Worth the visit to check it out and perhaps spend some time enjoying one from their inventory

First time here. Have not enjoyed the lounge yet, but the selection was excellent. Probably one of the best stocked humidors I have seen, but thats not all: it is also extremely clean and laid out well. The prices are fair and if you get a box, the owner will throw in an extra stick or two. I will definitely return here and hopefully will have time for the lounge as well. read more

Our first year out in Arizona we sent a friend of ours who doesn't smoke cigars out on be Run 2 get fluid for lighters.. it was the last day of our trip and he came back with these crazy stories about the selection that this cigar shop had and we needed to go check it out so we all piled into our truck and went and took a look... now let me paint the picture just so you can understand my friends and I are all at least 6 ft + except for one of us. We're pretty big guys. And black men.. in the middle of Scottsdale Arizona. Once we got in we were welcomed and shown around. We explained that we were on a golf trip and we were cigar smokers and pretty much bought up about $500 worth of cigars between the eight of us. This past year was year number 7 for us... new location same great service. In fact the owner Mr Vartan himself remembers us year after year in Greece us the same way when we walk in.. "Heeeey.. it's the golf trip guys".. we appreciate the welcoming feeling. As far as its selection Ambassador Cigars has pretty much everything you need in addition to some things you really can't find anywhere else. They also allow you to order online from them which is a plus. If you are in the area they have a number of locations throughout the Scottsdale Phoenix area please go visit them. And while you're there grab a few Vartan cigars. You won't be disappointed and it's one of our favorites read more

Mr. V and his staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the leaf. Very good selection to choose from and the lounge is great.

Vertan, gave me a personal tour of his business and took the time to show me all of the cigars in his humidor. His attention to detail was what I expected from a fellow business owner that understands their product and is willing to share their intimate knowledge of each cigar and the company that produces them. Vertan will be my cigar dealer for the rest of my leaf because he took the time to help me better understand what I was purchasing. I highly recommend Ambassador Fine Cigars. read more

I am relatively new to the cigar world. I was referred to this shop by a good friend of mine who boasted about there amazing selection, and great customer service.(from his experience ) I sent my girlfriend in to buy me a few cigars while I was at work. As she went in I had her call me so I could explain to the man what I was looking for... on the line I hear the older gentleman being impatient with her as I tried to explain to her what I was looking for. I then asked to speak with the gentlemen to explain to him directly. He was not helpful what so ever and was rude with me when he misunderstood what I was asking. After this I told my girlfriend to leave. I will not be doing any business at this establishment. read more

First time going to the ambassador. First of all one of the biggest cigar selections. I have seen in general. I had the privilege of meeting the owner. Such a great gentleman made me really feel welcome. He personally gave me a tour around the lounge 10 out of 10 recommend. Great spot just to smoke one by yourself or even with a group. Best cigar lounge in Arizona, hands-down. read more

Fantastic company. I haven't had the opportunity to stop-by one of their locations but I have ordered from their online store a few times now. Great customer service and very quick to ship the orders. Brad has been super helpful. Thanks guys. I will swing-by next time I'm in the area. read more

I was on this side of town and noticed this was the same cigar shop on my side of town at the arrow head location. While it may be the same owner, the shops couldn't be any more different. This lounge did not feel as inviting or comfortable. Did I mention the arrow head location also has a bar, while this location does not. read more

Best of the best selections of cigars period! Exclusive cigars and a fine establishment!

Quick update plate that I have been getting all my davidoffs at other Scottsdale cigar bars. Just google them they have all been better than this place. 5 davidoffs per week is 100 x 4 = 400.00 per month x 12 months = 4600.00 x 2 = 9600.00 that vartan had missed out on. Now multiply that times how many customers have left because of the attitude of the place. I'm happy spending my money elsewhere, has been wonderful. He'll probably think twice next time someone asks for info on the lounge. But then again he may not because he has an ego. No worries plenty of other cigar places. Cheers Varty! read more

The humidor is one of a kind. I met Vartan at his Peoria location but you'll find him mainly at this location. He has done an amazing job with the place. He took care of me when picking out cigars for my Father's 50th Birthday. I moved out of state and still insist of buying all my cigars for my dad through Vartan. Since I moved out of state, I have returned once earlier this year and have called to refill an order. They are very helpful. I don't see why anyone would go anywhere else. A big Thank you to Vartan and Staff. read more

This is a pure treat for the senses of any cigar aficionado. The lobby of the shop is well presented and thoughtfully arranged. However, the real treat is the spacious walk in humidor. I have been coming to this location since they opened and even when the store was across the street-the last time I was there will actually be the last time I ever step foot in there again.
