I hate it the food is bad and I found a SPIDER ARM IN MY SONS FRIzcKIN pancakes. Don't recommend if you don't like burnt breakfast. However the price matches the quality. And stupid dirty walls

    Topsy Skillet, yum. YUM.

If you are traveling across Missouri on I-70 & are hungry, pass up the chains and come to this great spot. My mom, my three-year-old and I had a great breakfast here today. The Mickey Mouse pancake was a hit with the kiddo, my mom said the biscuits and gravy were great and I loved my Topsy Skillet. The food was made with pride and the service was friendly. Even the rye bread was made in house. We will definitely be back.

We were a group of 5 who stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were promptly seated and well attended to. The menu offers a nice selection of standard breakfast fare. The coffee is pretty good and comes with free refills. The food servings are very generous and it's easy to see why this place is a local favorite!

    The onion rings are amazing!

Drove from San Antonio to check them out, best ribs I've ever had, no question. The brisket was incredible as well.

Good home cooking like grandma used to make. Our server was friendly and the food was plentiful. Older cafe but very clean. Great coffee.

Good home-cooked breakfast right off the highway. This is where the locals go. Service is good. The place has been around since 1912.

The Truck Stop Survives!…read more It has been a tough couple of years for truck stops across the nation. The double whammy of COVID 19 lockdowns and the past years price spikes (inflation) for fuel have taken their toll. We stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner at the Concordia, MO Truckstops of America, and noticed that they had added a Subway to their Country Pride diner for quick road food. Truck stops survive by producing edible carbs quickly and truck parking. But most survivors also amp up their friendly service with better than average home style meals - Country Pride has done this. While not crowded during the late afternoon, the service was its historic quick and friendly bench mark, the menu has been pared down a bit to match a decrease in demand. We went for a stir fry and a traditional American Breakfast of omelette and hash browns. The omelette was exactly what should be expected with no skimping of ingredients. The stir fry was very good, especially for truck stop fare. Adding a slice of "Reeces Peanut Butter" cake for desert topped off an enjoyable meal. During these inflationary times, I have been seeking out businesses that have earned their right to survive by providing consistent services and products at reasonable prices. This Country Pride had done exactly that. Yes, I will continue to make that Concordia stop as I cross I-70 they have earned it.

Restaurant is CLOSED! Don't stop here, no food or coffee. Keep driving a few more miles.read more
