While the outdoor view is beautiful, I would not recommend for breakfast. There were only the packaged creamers available. When I mixed it in, it did not dissolve completely. So not off to a great start. I ordered an omelet with onions and jalepenos. The onions were cut somewhat large and did not seem like they were sautéed so they were crunchy, and the peppers were right out of the jar and I'm guessing they were not tried because the inside of the omelet was liquidy. I scooped the filling out and the eggs were fine, but not what I expected. My husband had the breakfast sandwich and ordered the tots. Sandwich was good but he thought the tots were awful. Our server was very friendly and attentive and even offered a coffee to go. Yet, we were disappointed with the food and will not be back for breakfast. read more

This place was the worst service. We were there with a group of 11, yes we called 10 days in advance. They took 15 minutes to bring menus, that we had to ask for, and 20 minutes for the drinks. We waited for an hour and a half before we saw the first salad come out. There was no sorry just that the kitchen was behind. The servers were just standing around talking. The hamburger was hard, cold and not prepared properly either. I will never go here again. Stay away!!! read more

I have been to Traditions multiple times and never been disappointed. However, tonight I went and received the worst service ever. Our server Karen was extremely inattentive, she took our order and we did not see her again until the food came out, after that we did not see her again until we flagged down another waitress. Karen had another table whom she was very attentive to, they arrived wayyyyy after us but revived their checks and paid before us. I tip good everywhere I go and tonight was the lowest tip I have ever left in my life. First night in Warrensburg we decided to meet up with some family and grab some food. My grandma asked what I wanted, but really I was pretty lost with what was around and I had not had a chance to get my bearings. I will say Traditions is not really what I expected. 1. Its on a golf course. 2. It is bar-like food and a lot of deep fried food. I got the chicken wings boneless with the spicy sauce. I would say it was a little too sweet and not enough spicy. Luckily they had some Franks sauce that i was able to drench it in to help add some spice. The funny thing about boneless wings is that they are basically chicken nuggets. They were pretty good though, I think kicking the sauce a little bit is the only thing i would suggest. My wife got the chicken fried chicken. While it tasted pretty good, the bite I had was a touch soggy. I know this is one of those dishes that is difficult to keep crunchy because of the gravy, but i had a bite almost immediately after it came out and it was still a touch soggy. Overall not bad. My dad ordered the cheese/crab dip. They came with what I am assuming are house made tortilla chips. I will say the chips alone are their greatest selling point. The tortilla chips were amazing and if they are actually making their potato chips they are also amazing. The Cheese dip was good, but it was a bit too rich for me. Overall the food is ok, not great, not bad. The amount of food you get is ridiculous. No one cleaned their plate which means they are giving you way too much. The price seemed fine. I was a bit disappointed with their beer selection especially what they had on tap... but I think this more reflects the city than the bar. We did have what I think was a minor service issue, but what the rest of the table that was the worst service. Basically it took a while for the waitress to take our order and it took a long time for us to get our food. While the bar seemed empty, I think the outside had a good amount of people, and i think they may have been slightly understaffed. Traditions is the restaurant that is right next to the golf course in Pertle Springs. It is typically not busy. My favorite times to go here are when it is warm enough/not too cold to sit outside. The patio has a fantastic view of the golf course. Food - Their appetizers are my favorite. They have classic appetizers including wings (bone in and bone out), fried pickles, nachos, loaded potato skins, and more! They usually have two days where it is half off apps. That is the best time to go. I am not a huge fan of most of their main entrees. This place is best for people who want to get a drink with friends. I have gone here many times. It is usually a relaxed environment. My favorite specialty drink they have is the Pertle Punch. It is a bit fruity, a little sweet, and just waht I need. read more

By far the best place in Warrensburg. We ate at the restaurant and it was just a wonderful experience. The views were breath-taking and the food was just as good. AMAZING! I highly recommend this restaurant! It is right on the golf course so you have a beautiful view while eating, the service was very fast, and the food is SO good! The pricing is pretty average (6-7$ for a giant footling hotdog with a side, 9-10$ for a big burger and a side, etc etc). I've been there twice now and have been impressed both times! (You need to try the fried pickle spears btw! SO SO GOOD! Wish I lived in Warrensburg so I could have them all the time!) read more

It would be Zero Stars if I could give that rating. We had a horrible experience with this business. Our daughter and future son-in-law graduated from UCM in May and we planned the weekend well in advance. We called Traditions in December to set a reservation. We called in February and April to confirm. We called again the morning of the graduation and confirmed the time (8:00) and number of guests. We arrived right at 8:00 and we were told they didn't have a table for us, even though I could see a large group just being seated. When the manager came over he told us an entirely different story, that he didn't have a table for us because there were groups taking longer to eat and we would have the next table. The problem was that every table was just ordering their food so it would be at least an hour before anything opened up. We had to scramble to find someplace to have dinner at 9:00 on a Friday night while 650 other graduates are out having dinner. Not a great way to run a business, and a horrible experience as we tried to celebrate the graduations of two scholar athletes. read more
