Tops never tops. Hiding behind Wendy's
Fox E.

Not to be confused with Cops, which are wayyyy more expensive (when they pull you over) and wayyyy more dangerous (depending on which Cops). Located around the back of one of my favorite places in Orchard Park where I go for salad when I'm down here, this Tops has a few issues. It's busy and it's hard to get into and they've been out of things that I needed a couple of times like kale for example. And then another time it was wilted kale, when it was supposed to be fresh. So it's not my favourite store and the prices are always jacked up (like me, oooh) when it's supposed to be a kind of a discount store. But as I said that is not the worst location and the girl checking me out the most recent time I was here was super friendly. And was checking me out. In more ways than one.

Very full cart!

The rotisserie chicken hit the spot, and my kids ended up devouring the leftovers after practice! I also grabbed a couple of the dishes I'm always craving but never have the time to make myself. They were a little on the drier side, but that didn't bother me because they were still packed with flavor. If you're looking for a quick grab-and-go meal, I definitely recommend checking out the prepared foods section. The prices are reasonable, and there's a great variety of options, including hot meals like curried chicken with butternut squash, gluten-free Rachels/Reubens, and more. And don't forget the treats! They have giant rice crispy treats, some topped with peanut butter and a thick layer of chocolate, along with all kinds of homemade cookies. You can also find plenty of local products throughout the co-op, which is another reason I love stopping in. It's such a convenient option when you want something homemade and flavorful without having to actually make it yourself!

My favorite is the bulk section- they even have bulk spices!! I love to fill up when I'm in town and all of the spices offered are organic. Their ready-made section is also great for grab & go options. Vegan selections can be limited, but they usually have one thing. My fav is the vegan peanut butter rice krispie treats. They're amazing!! I almost always walk out with one to eat later. Keep doing great things EA CO-OP!

Holy Smokes! We just moved to Derby and were visiting a relative in the area and stopped in last…read moreSeptember to grab some snacks for the beach. While there noticed the meat counter/deli and decided to pick up a couple Italian Sausage Subs. WOW! They were awesome and my wife is a tough sell. Now that we know it was there our next visit came quickly this time we went for the subs and grabbed an Assorted and a Meatball. While we waited we decided to shop a little. Some steaks a couple of their sausages some pirogies, sponge candy and other things. Heck we almost filled a cart while waiting for the subs. Now we've tried the Fried Chicken very good, Sausage sub excellent, deli case sausage, beef sticks, Friday fish fry, fried shrimp etc on and on. We're always treated well and given help and recommendations when requested. We absolutely recommend this local gem.

We've been there two times already and we were so impressed with the quality of meats, seafood subs and other great products, the market has to offer. However, the reason for my three star review is for something I'm very particular about and that I really value in a business a business can have the most wonderful products in the world, but it's the customer service that really takes it over the top and I'm sad to report. I did not experience the five star service everybody has been reviewing about. I stopped in to the market and bought some Costanzo's rolls and some clams. I saw that the clams were priced 3.49 so I thought that was a wonderful price so I grabbed another when I went to check out I wasn't even greeted by the cashier who was an elderly woman with short gray hair, however she did greet the two gentlemen that were in line in front of me, strike one. When I handed her my rolls she said "oh sure you want those big rolls" as if she were judging me based on my purchase and then when it came to the clams, she rang them up and said wait a minute this isn't right I got to see then she saw the price tag marked 3.49 and then she gave me a side eyed look as if I was the one that put the price tag there? Strike two. And then to top it all off very carefully. She said I had to bag my own groceries myself having experience as a cashier never in my life have I seen a cashier tell the customer to bag their own products that should be the cashier's job and for the stellar service everyone raves about that's the complete opposite strike three. So therefore I love the products there but I have to take away two stars for service.
