The prices are fair, if not a bit on the high side (e.g., $5 to clean a pair pants), but the service is phenomenal. The woman who runs the shop and who has been behind the counter every time I've visited, is super nice. On each of my visits, she has engaged me in conversation and asked how I am in a tone that reflects that she really means it. As impressive, on my latest visit, she knew my name and typed it into her computer before I could say a word. This is just great customer service and will keep me coming back. Keep it up, Q!

In the hundreds of items I've had cleaned, maybe one or two had some minor work needing to be done and all it took was a phone call to correct it. They are very responsive and helpful. I've tried dozens of cleaners and Fred's is the only one I have found that meets my overall standards. During the pandemic they have reduced hours yet the service and quality has not dropped at all. We drop off at the front desk, they pick up on specific days and bring it back on specific days. Pricing-wise, they are much more affordable than most. I wish there was an app where one could easily let them know what needs to be done, or tell them if you need something hemmed or fixed, but that is wishful thinking I guess. Their cleaning is pretty good, not the best I have seen, but certainly the best for their price point. I will be using them moving forward.

Rude Racist Owner!!!!! I've been coming here for years and was shocked when I casually questioned…read morethe male owner about the prices he quoted for patching my son's karate uniform. His response: "All you Indian people are so cheap." I tried to make a lighthearted joke and said, "All us Asians are cheap," and took my receipt and left. All these years either by luck or chance, I've only dealt with his wife for all my tailoring needs and had only ever interacted with him to drop off my dry-cleaning. As I drove away it hit me like a ton of bricks how unacceptable his comments were and how passive my reaction was. In the next parking lot over is another dry cleaners. So I pulled in and inquired about how much uniform patching was. It was literally 40% less. I drove back to Towaco Cleaners and asked for my uniform back and then asked if there was any dry-cleaning under my husband's and my name. When I got all my things I said to the owner, "My husband and I've both been customers here for 7 years and you just lost our business for being so rude. I simply asked you a question about price and you made a racist comment." Instead of apologizing, he waved me off and said "All Indian people are so so cheap and they talk so much." Seriously!!!! I told him I was going to post online about it and that's what I'm doing. I'm just in shock. I've never had an interaction with any business owner ever like this.
