On this visit, I dropped off a brand new right out of the package dress shirt to be pressed. Well, upon picking up the shirt I was charged $6.50 for "spot cleaning " around the collar because of heavy dirt. When I explained to the woman that the shirt was brand new and never even worn , she insisted that she informed me of this upon drop off. She refused to do anything about the ridiculous price charged. She then explained that the shirt would not fit in the pressing machine. WTH! Needless to say that I won't be visiting this rip off joint anymore. Very unethical and very dishonest business practices.

I have had one too many awful experiences here, and I've taken my business elsewhere. In my most recent encounter, I pointed out a specific stain that I needed removed on an item. I asked that the whole item not be washed, just for the stain to be removed. I came to pick it up- the stain was still there and the woman still insisted I pay $14 for absolutely NOTHING. There are plenty of cleaners in the area with better prices, service, and friendly people.

They WRECKED my Coach bag…read more I dropped off white Coach bag with a couple of stains. What I got back was an even MORE STAINED bag with the colors running all over the bag. And then PROCEEDED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT. Like a dummy, I paid. I was just so upset. The woman proceeded to tell me that the dyes ran because the appliqués were pigskin and not leather. I told them, "This looks worse than when I dropped it off!". "Careful Cleaners?" I think not. I think the original owners sold it because I have been coming there for years and never seen those individuals before. Definitely gone downhill. Will not be returning.

I tried one in wyckoff that was reliable but too expensive...another in Oakland that was reasonably priced but not accommodating. Like Goldilocks, I hadn't found one that was just right. That was until a friend recommended I go to Urban Cleaners in the Market Basket shopping center, and I'm so grateful she told me about them. They are so kind and accommodating. They've cleaned items for me very quickly when I've been in a pinch. I find their prices are reasonable and comparable to others (not overpriced like the one in Wyckoff). I also trust all of my clothes there, especially the higher/designer items. Highly recommend.
