I moved from Memphis to OB and this was my first time ordering from this location. I ordered the turkey burger because it's so good in Memphis. This one was good but it lacked the flavors I'm used to. The fries were great, fried hard and no soft and limp. I'd probably order it again because like I said it was not bad, it just wasn't on the same taste level than other locations. Inside was clean, staff friendly, men's bathroom clean. read more

My cup had hair on it! And the food was horrible. I only stopped there to get my family something to eat while our loved one was in ICU. I spoke to a manager and he was supposed to right the wrong. What good did that do.Your employees are as good as their leaders. You can't buy integrity. Wasting $22 isn't the issue. Poor service, Poor quality of Food and management is. read more

This place was very disappointing unfortunately. The quality of the food was very low tier when it comes to BBQ. Very fast-food-chainy. It was edible and the place was clean. Services was good and helpful. All in all, it's not what I would personal eat when it comes to BBQ. read more

the only reason that I am giving 2 stars is because the food was decent. They refuse to give itemized receipts and will not give correct change. If they don't want to stock up on pennies then they need to adjust the prices so you don't short your customers. I know it's only a few cents but it's my few cents and it adds up when so many businesses are doing it now. read more

My aircrew and myself we're riding around to check out some 1 star reviewed BBQ places and rolled up into Top's. Unfortunately not the 1 Star we were looking for but more in line with a 4.5 Star. Had the brisket an pork plates, both were extremely tasty and well portioned. Staff was friendly and filled our order promptly. Next time we fly though we'll stop in but we're still looking for that 1 star experience. read more

I ordered food to feed 30 people today with no advanced notice. Devin and team went above and beyond filling this order !! Food was hot and fresh !! Fries were still hot and crispy when we got the food to our team !! Can't say enough good things about the food and service today !! read more

Ordered through door dash today. BBQ plate with beans and fries. Not enough of a portion of anything to feed an ant. Way overpriced for amount of food. I will go back to Corkys for my bbq. read more

AMAZING!!! I'm a trucker and walked over to grab dinner on my reset. Nothing but flavor and YUMMYYYY!!! We don't eat fast food...this is as close to home cooked as you can get. The staff was SO friendly, even with a HUGE line!! Ty!!! We will be back! read more

Well the people were friendly, and the place was clean, but the food was so so. I was just passing through and thought maybe I could get some good southern bbq, but it was about average for fast food. read more

When entering the building they were simi busy. I mindful of that an stood at the cash register to wait for my order to be taken. The lady turned and looked at me and went back to what she was doing without saying a word. After about 3 to 4 minutes she said if you have a credit card you can just place your own order at the self serve. I went to the kiosk and started to look through, I did not see an option for a combo so i ask as each item was coming up more costly than a combo. She said yeah its on there but idk just wait and ill just take your order. Seeing she was annoyed i just went and ahead and placed the order paying more. When my order finally came out i took my order to go. I pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road and began to eat my fries. Sadly they were cold and tasted like the oil they were cooked in was old and uncleaned. I then began to eat my burger and it tasted awful! Needless to say I tossed the meal and enjoyed the one good thing from Tops, the coke. I am normally a fan of Tops but this is the second time I have went and the food was awful and the customer service was also. I will not be returning to Tops! I wish we had the old Tops with superb customer service and even better food. read more

The food is consistently outstanding and hot. The hamburgers taste like a back yard cookout! Minimal wait especially when you can literally see them making your food, well worth any wait. Associates are always pleasant and everyone is working. Nobody standing around and they help each other. Great service, great selection, great prices and mouthwatering flavor!!! read more

We ordered a family pack to go when we left church. The food was ready to go when we arrived about 20 minutes later. The pulled pork was a delicious as usual and the beans seemed to be especially tasty this time round. The cashier was friendly and prompt and the restaurant was very clean and inviting. We've eaten at this location several times when we're not near the one closer to our house. This location has always given us good food and service, hence the repeat business. read more

I read all the views before patronizing this restaurant. First impression was it was very clean for a BBQ joint. That's always a plus . Secondly, the food was good, it has its own sauce more vinegar based not sweet . However it is good. I feel many closed minded people have reviewed this place and that's sad , but you can't please everyone. I'm a truck driver, so I invite my fellow drivers to come try & support. Maybe they'll create a Trucker-Special (Hint Hint) . read more

Ordered a simple order and they got the order wrong and the girl behind the counter spilled half the fries and then said sorry about that. Didn't get another order or do anything to make it right. Don't go to this location. read more

Tops is a Memphis oldie. The have been around for decades and have been serving almost the same thing the whole time. They just recently in the last couple years reached out to Beef Brisket and Ribs. There main focus was always pulled pork and there majorly underrated burgers. While growing up I was accustomed to this place over off of Quince and Getwell. We used to go and get BBQ from them all the time. My Dad loved the place! This location is fair to sub par as far as service is concerned. I wouldn't come in looking to be impressed by ambiance or basic human courtesies. It's more of a look down and get some "pretty good BBQ" to eat. I like everything they have most of the time as a weekday meal for the family. Ribs are good 8.68 times out of 10. Pulled pork is mostly dry and I avoid it most of the time. Brisket is ok. Burgers are made to order and may be the most consistent thing they have. read more

Stopped in for a bit. I ordered a half slab of ribs, bake beans and slaw. These were some good ribs. When I say fall off the bone. They were so tender. They were seasoned so good. I want to go back and get more. Oh well...next time we're in town. read more

absolutely perfect! soooo good. turkey burger is like a real burger. thanks guys! I will be downloading the app for sure!

Placed an online order that included 2 lbs. bbq. @ $25.98. Got home and had 2 small drink cups of meat. I have ordered this before from here and other bbq restaurants and have always gotten 2 large drink cups. I called and was told to come back up and they would give me the rest. When I got there I was handed 1 small cup. I pulled away and called 2 more Tops locations and they told me that 1 lb. comes in the large cup. I then went in and relayed the information. The man doing the orders wanted to argue and told me that is how they serve there's. I continued to stand there and was finally given 1 large cup. Very rude staff and I will not be back! read more

Some of the best barbecue you can get. The service was fast and prompt. They are very friendly and the place is clean. Sounds odd going to a barbecue place in ordering a hamburger but it's on the best hamburgers you'll put in your mouth. Highly recommend this place. read more

We are huge fans of Tops bbq and literally grew up eating it. Today, we went to the Olive Branch location and the service was beyond terrible. Rude workers with terrible attitudes. We ordered 2 jumbo pork sandwiches and the buns were not jumbo and neither sandwich had sauce. One sandwich was ordered with no slaw due to an allergy, but yet lots of slaw was put on. We went back due to the slaw issue and no sauce and was handed 2 packs of sauce. When asked about correcting the wrong sandwich, the attitude was terrible. New sandwich was made with no slaw and very little sauce. So disappointing. Will not be returning. read more

Looked this place up online before a roadtrip through the area, it came up on the top of several "best BBQ in Memphis" lists so we planned to stop in and try it. Us girls love us some BBQ. SO GLAD WE DID. I texted my husband after the first bite 'life changing BBQ just outside of Memphis, TOPS!" Such a good juicy pork sandwich with what can only be described as the tastiest BBQ sauce I've ever had. I can't even put my finger on what was in there, it was different, but somehow better than anything I've ever tried. The meal comes with 2 sides and a drink for a steal. Would have been a 5 star affair but lost that last star because the beans were just an 85%, not the full 100% the sandwich earned. I also would have enjoyed a little background music, it would have made the dining room a little more comfortable. I felt like everyone in there was just staring at me and we could hear everyone's conversations. But oh the food. read more

The place was clean as a whistle, and the staff very friendly and quick, my wife thought it was very good, but not great! Hence the 4 stars and not 5! The brisket was good, problem there was it was chopped not sliced, once you chop it it loses it juices! But anyway, good job guys, quit chopping that brisket. read more

Not horrible but there are better options for Memphis BBQ. I suspect this place does well being right across the street from a busy truck stop. Jumbo pulled pork sandwich was a bit skimpy and I tasted no smoke flavor on the pork shoulder which made me wonder if the place even has a pit and smokes their meats. I'd eat here again as a OTR truck driver I can't just drive around any place but I'm not accustom to ordering a jumbo sandwich with 3 sides and walking away not full. read more

I went here last night. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. My wife had a side of coleslaw. The service was fast and courteous the people were nice. I'll go back for some bbq next time I'm in town and will possibly change this review. Anyone can make a decent burger. read more

I love the pulled pork BBQ sandwich (Jumbo). I always ask for extra sauce to the side, because while there is plenty of meat, the sauce can be light. The drive through service is average, but always worth the wait for hot fries and fresh sandwiches. read more

They must have changed the beans because they had so much hot spice I couldn't eat them! Never had that happen before. Also, the people behind the counter have changed. All men when before, it was women. Just an observation. I do love Tops, but I'm disappointed that they changed the beans. read more

The order is never ever correct. I do not know why I keep going back. The bbq isn't even good anymore. They put way too many fat pieces in it and it has been dry the last few times I have ordered it. The customer service is terrible as well. I would go to a different location but would not go to the Olive Branch location if at all possible. I drive thirty minutes out of the way for tops and the Olive Branch location is literally 5 minutes from my house. I refuse to go here. read more

I had to get a lot of food fast and I drove up asked if I could get the 12 party pack. The lady on the drive thru was kind, prompt and efficient. They work hard and got my food right out.
