I hate to have to write this, as I do not like being negative toward a small business. I cannot…read morecriticize the work that was done as far as replacing the headliner on my Jaguar. However, I can and do criticize the lack of quality control after the headliner was replaced and they attached the grab handles. Jaguar uses 2 different size torx screws/bolts (25mm and 38mm) in each grab handles above the doors. They make note to pay attention to the size of the screws. Unfortunately, N-Sydez-Out did not. The result was that they put the screws in the wrong position and on the driver's back door the last screw, being too long went up and pushed against the roof of my car and left an outward dent or pop-up. I had gotten the car back on 7/23 and did not notice until I was wiping it down on the evening of 7/24. On Sat, 7/25, I called Shun and told him about it and said I had photos and sent him 3 at his request and he promised to get back to me. He has not. So, I have had to take the trouble to go to a paintless dent repair. The screw had to be changed with the right size as it was still pushing against the roof, and I will go back and see if they can tap it down without loosening part of the headliner. Shun seems to be a quality person, who self-made his business and seems to run a top-flight operation, although in my situation I find quality control was severely lacking. While my headline had to suffer the same heat issues that many face and needed to be replaced, I would not expect to have to take extra time and potential money to fix something that is clearly their fault. I also found some "gunk of some sort (could have been glue), but I could not tell, on the wood in the car and while I have the right chemicals to take care of that without damage, I don't think I should have. I also thought they would have vacuumed the car out of the old foam from the old headliner. I am not complaining much about that, as I vacuum anyway on a regular basis. My suggestion is they do great work from what I have seen, but if you have work done there, make sure to check everything and not have the problems that hit me.

As soon as I sent them, he called me right back and patiently walked me through troubleshooting the issue. He easily could have told me I needed a service visit, and I would've had no way of knowing otherwise since this isn't my area of expertise, but instead he was honest, kind, and incredibly helpful. It turned out something was simply unplugged under my chair. Once I plugged it back in, the headrest worked perfectly. The leg recliner still has some issues, but Steve even suggested that I could just use it as a regular chair instead of pushing for a paid repair. Not many people would do that when they could make money. I really appreciated his honesty, patience, and customer service. Steve is a good guy, and I definitely recommend Upholstery Fix.

My original bottom drivers side seat cover split on the side of my 2022 F-250. Replaced with new…read morebottom leather cover and the Durofoam seat cushion. There were no exact match install videos but watched some for later model F-150's and it was the same. Installation was simple. Gently peeled off the seat heater and AC duct from the original cushion and used headliner spray glue to install both on new Durofoam cushion. Fit and match were perfect and the new Durofoam is way more comfortable than the OEM. Would recommend 100%. Don't be overly concerned with installing yourself as its really easy. Entire process took me about 45 min. and I had to figure everything out myself. I would recommend getting the new Durofoam as the OEM clips holding the seat cover on will most probably break and trying to fix those so you can reuse the OEM foam is not worth it!

Ray knew exactly what my problem was and described how he could fix it. Bring it in, in the morning, and leave it overnight for the glue to fully cure. Sure enough, the next day I picked it up and it looked just like new - no ripples! Magee's (Rays) price was fair and the time it took was prompt. Next time I have an upholstery issue, I'll call Magee's (Rays). For all of you Porsche owners out there, you also have an inherent design flaw which you will eventually need to fix. I recommend you give Magee's (Ray) a call, first.
