A beautiful piece of furniture in my house was torn up by my adorable young kitten (she apparently…read morethought it was a scratch pad) so I did my research as always and I was so happy to find Ignacio at I & A Quality Upholstery. I ordered the new "scratch resistant" fabric that was needed to cover both arms on my piece of furniture. Ignacio was very nice and highly professional. He came out to my home and carefully placed my furniture piece in his van. Ignacio asked me what fabric color I would like to use for the trim which was very thoughtful of him. He did an amazing job of removing the damaged fabric and replacing it with my new fabric. He brought my re-upholstered furniture back to my home about 2 weeks later. Now my cat can enjoy her "furniture scratch pad routine" without doing any visible damage to it! Ignacio's professional fees to perform these specialized services were very reasonable. We hired EMG Upholstery to make custom cushions for our patio sectional after not being able to get…read morethrough to my previous provider. So I went on the hunt to keep money flowing locally and found EMG. Let me start off by saying the fellow Erik, who did the work was as helpful and nice as he could be. He came by our home and did the measurements and we agree'd on pricing and fabric and I paid him half for the order. Custom cushions are not cheep, but he was more reasonable than ordering custom off line as our sizes were no where to be found so I really had no choice here. I had asked Erik to please only make one bottom and one back FIRST so that I see if the density and the workmanship was on point so we would be able to make any changes before making the rest. About a month and a half I get a text ( they like to text ), that the cushions were ready. ALL OF THEM! I didn't get my samples first and was not happy about that. They delivered the cushions and OMG they were soooo hard. They promised me they'll soften up in a couple of months....we'll see. So after agreeing to keep them and paying my balance, I'm looking at them and honestly not happy with the quality of workman ship. It's just not a professional job. I'm hoping they get better at these type of jobs. I wish them success. But I can not with clear conscience recommend them at this time for these type of cushions and I won't be using them again.

I hate to have to write this, as I do not like being negative toward a small business. I cannot…read morecriticize the work that was done as far as replacing the headliner on my Jaguar. However, I can and do criticize the lack of quality control after the headliner was replaced and they attached the grab handles. Jaguar uses 2 different size torx screws/bolts (25mm and 38mm) in each grab handles above the doors. They make note to pay attention to the size of the screws. Unfortunately, N-Sydez-Out did not. The result was that they put the screws in the wrong position and on the driver's back door the last screw, being too long went up and pushed against the roof of my car and left an outward dent or pop-up. I had gotten the car back on 7/23 and did not notice until I was wiping it down on the evening of 7/24. On Sat, 7/25, I called Shun and told him about it and said I had photos and sent him 3 at his request and he promised to get back to me. He has not. So, I have had to take the trouble to go to a paintless dent repair. The screw had to be changed with the right size as it was still pushing against the roof, and I will go back and see if they can tap it down without loosening part of the headliner. Shun seems to be a quality person, who self-made his business and seems to run a top-flight operation, although in my situation I find quality control was severely lacking. While my headline had to suffer the same heat issues that many face and needed to be replaced, I would not expect to have to take extra time and potential money to fix something that is clearly their fault. I also found some "gunk of some sort (could have been glue), but I could not tell, on the wood in the car and while I have the right chemicals to take care of that without damage, I don't think I should have. I also thought they would have vacuumed the car out of the old foam from the old headliner. I am not complaining much about that, as I vacuum anyway on a regular basis. My suggestion is they do great work from what I have seen, but if you have work done there, make sure to check everything and not have the problems that hit me.
