On Time - Check, Value as Advertised - Check, Professional Install - Check, Would I Refer - Absolutely. Did some research on overhead storage that is available on the market and came across Topp Rax. Having done this myself at my old house, I wanted to have a pro preform the install and get quality components. If you live in SoCal, give Ryan a call and you will not be dissapointed. They are a small shop, but so mich better than other stuff that is out there. I ended up with two 4x8 1000lb rated units and will be adding another shortly. As another poster noted, the hooks are a plus and you need to put them on prior to loading up the units. If you are on the fence on what to do...don't be. read more

If you're thinking about over head storage this is the product. Couple years ago I installed The SafeRack system, had I known about Topp Rax then I would have never used that product. There is no comparison of the two. Starting at the thickness of the steel used, the way the decking seats on the frames, the way it's attached to the frame everything is better. After I installed the Safe Rack, I was moving containers on to the rack and it was swaying all over the place I truly was concern that I may collapse. After Craig installed the Top Rax system I got up on it and walked around when I was placing my containers for storage. Its rock solid. Go to the ToppRax website and watch the video he has posted, that's all it took for me. I highly recommend this product, 5 stars Les Riven Kamas Utah read more

Ryan is great. He knows his product and is able install it very efficiently. So happy and would recommend Ryan and this product. Great price. read more

Our old condo had a ToppRax unit installed when we bought it. We loved it because we had s tandem garage so it was nice having overhead storage. When we moved into our new home, I wouldn't have anything other than ToppRax. My husband wanted to install a unit from home depot until I showed him the ToppRax video. Watch the video and you'll see why the flimsy units aren't worth it. read more

Ryan of ToppRax did an outstanding job. He worked with me to find a solution to my existing garage cabinets and made it work. The workmanship and heavy duty racks are of the highest quality. ToppRax also offers a lifetime warranty to give you peace of mind. I highly recommend ToppRax above all competitors. read more

I've had four 4x8 ToppRax racks professionally installed by CDR Overhead Storage for a couple of years now. They are without a doubt the best overhead storage racks for your garage money can buy. These racks are very rigid and can hold lots and lots of weight without bowing in the middle. I have one installed against a wall and it has close to 1000 lbs evenly loaded, but it sags only about 1/4" in the middle. That's very impressive and shows the strength of the design. Even when they are installed in the middle of the garage away from the walls they sway hardly at all when I push hard on the frame. One drawback with placing so much weight on these storage racks is they can make the second story bedroom floors sag just a tiny little bit, but maybe enough to deform door frames and to cause an already tight bedroom doors to bind. I have one bedroom door that I can no longer fully close because it binds to the door frame. This happened right after I put a lot of load on the three 4x8 racks that were installed directly underneath the bedroom. I will have to shave the door to make it fit. Another drawback is that for homes located in earthquake zones, putting so much load on the overhead racks will negatively impact the ability of the soft-story garage to resist collapse during a violent earthquake. read more

Looking for additional storage and went with ToppRax for the sturdy design. Contacted Ryan and we had confirmed an initial date but luckily Ryan had a cancellation and was in the Irvine area and gave me a call so we got our racks installed much earlier. Ryan installed two 3x8 overhead racks quickly. Ryan was very friendly and polite. And when everything was done he did the famous running jump swing on the racks to show how solid everything is. Highly recommend ToppRax. read more

Ryan & Will did an AMAZING job on my garage shelving. My only regret is not knowing about them before! I have no idea how I've lived without these awesome shelves for so long. Top notch and great product!!! Came to the house and it installed in and timeless and fast manner. Looks great and may get more racks placed

I love these racks! They look great and rapidly installed... looked so wonderful I had them come back to install another one!

There's a reason there's almost all five star reviews! Ryan was prompt and worked quickly. He offered great advice when asked and was a pleasure to work with. The product itself is excellent as advertised. Very sturdy, no movement whatsoever. We can get our cars back in the garage again! I would definitely recommend ToppRax! read more

Eric the installer was very knowledgeable and very efficient. Installed racks with no issues and was able to give me ideas that would improve my work space. read more

Craig and Ryan did a Fantastic job, designing and installing our racks for optimum storage space! And the Racks are top quality, extremely sturdy, they don't rock or move around at all! So are easy to load and unload without feeling like they are going to fall down. I had them installed in our main garage and a smaller side garage. In the main garage they did a "U" shape for maximum storage. And in the smaller garage we did some thinner racks so we can still use it as a gym. I would highly recommend Topp Raxx to anyone and everyone! Thank you Craig and Ryan, wish I had another garage so you could install them there too! Will definitely tell our family and friends! read more

Great service and a great product! Use Advanced Overhead Storage, you won't be disappointed..

So happy I went with Topp Rax. I originally spoke to Craig on the phone and you could tell right away this was a guy with a lot of pride about the quality and cost of his product. I had his installer Ryan Goff out just a few days later and within about 2 1/2 hours I had three major ceiling racks I could literally hang from and attempt to do pull-ups on. Solid material and extremely fair pricing. Ryan Goff was this energetic and personable guy who worked extremely efficiently. I did my research on tons of racks and various companies and I could not imagine going with someone else. They guarantee their product for life and attached stickers with their phone # on them in case there are any issues. Basically, I got extremely solid racks for a great cost with no sales BS to go along with it. No doubt, a great fine! read more

Love my overhead racks installed in my garage. Ryan was very helpful with giving me advise on how the racks should be installed and I couldn't be happier. They fit perfectly over the garage doors. I called on a Friday & was excited to get an installation appointment the following morning. I spoke with Craig (the owner) who was very nice & professional. Eric was my installer & we are VERY happy with his service. He was on time to the appt & in one short hour he installed 2 racks in our garage. We are so happy with the racks that we will be calling him back to install some shelves. I highly recommend this company. Thank you. read more

We are thrilled with our garage racks! I originally ordered some racks from Costco and after watching the video on the ToppRax website, I decided to call for info and schedule an appointment. I'm so glad I did. Ryan called the day of the appointment with an eta. He was easy going and super nice, not pushy and had my new garage racks up in an hour. They are very sturdy and hold all of bins of holiday stuff, bikes, etc. Returned the Costco racks and so happy with our ToppRax and Ryan's service. read more

Ryan was the best!!!! Top Raxx is a great product, very strong and fits so much. I kept having to postpone the installation due to other construction in my house and felt so bad, but Ryan was so considerate and worked with me! He came out to my house, took a look at where I originally wanted to install my rack, and gave me other options. Turns out we did what he suggested and I couldn't be happier!!! BIG NOTE: I was planning to install garage storage cabinets, Ryan measured the cabinets and made sure the rack was not going to cause an issue with the opening and closing of the doors. And they are PERFECT!! I even have room between the rack and the top of my cabinets. He was so great! He measured about ten times for me because I was so worried, but he wasn't bothered and kept reassuring me. I was so grateful! Thank you Ryan! After the construction I am planning on putting more racks up, at least one more, these things are amazing. read more

Ryan arrived at 9 and was done by 11. He installed 2-4x8's after removing an old shelf that barely stored anything. I also bought extra hooks to hang our bikes. Max load are 1000 lbs for the racks! Highly recommend. Time to purge and donate stuff we don't need. So happy with quality product and fast service! read more

This is our second rack system with this company. Our first ones are over ten years and the finish and structure has stayed exactly the same as the first day it was installed by Craig. Now, more than ten years later we were thrilled to find that Craig's company was still around. We just had another set installed in a new home. Despite the new fire safe features of an extra thick drywall and fire sprinkler system, Ryan was able to get racks installed with precision. Thanks ToppRax! read more

Craig installed two racks in my garage within about two hours. He was very friendly and helpful, and gave me all possible options without trying to sell any extras. The racks are very solid and stable, and I am thoroughly impressed! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is looking for overhead garage storage. It is such a pleasure to walk into my garage now! read more

Great product, Eric the installer did a fantastic job very helpful with ideas and suggestions. Wish i never wasted my money on other racks. If your on the fence with what to get, Get a topp Rax you wont be disappointed. read more

There are big differences between the different options for overhead storage. Topp Rax is a superior product and does not sway, bend or flex like the other options. The price difference is minimal. With three small kids, we did not want to take any chances with inferior products made from less steel, fewer cross supports, etc. Craig was a pleasure to deal with. Setting up the appointment was painless. Craig came on time and was very professional. He politely and patiently answered our questions and offered advantages and disadvantages of different installation options. He was never pushy and let us choose after we listened to his explanation. Craig installed the racks quickly and we couldn't be happier with the result. I will be happy to recommend Craig and Topp Rax to all of my friends and family. read more

First, I am very impressed with ToppRax as a product. But the real value in contacting Advanced Overhead Storage was dealing with Ryan. Ryan was open to all my questions and was reliable in returning calls and showing up on time. He finished the job with a smile on his face and the installation was quick. He also ensured that the racks were installed properly and securely (some storage installers didn't know how to install in a c.1950's peaked open style garage). I highly recommend the product, but more importantly, I recommend Ryan as an experienced professional. read more

Craig showed up on time and after showing me some height options, he went to work. Before he started work, he confirmed that he will honor the advertisment pricing from a magazine. I will definitely recommend him to my family and friends. read more

Just moved in to a new home and wanted to add some storage to the garage. We decided that the only thing that should go on the garage floor are our cars. I called Craig and he came out on the same day. He installed the large 4'x8' 1000 lb rack in less than an hour. Came back the next day to install another one. He showed up at the time promised and was prompt, professional and really friendly. The racks are rock solid and very nice. I highly recommend his services. Go to his website and watch the videos. Found Craig on YouTube, after watching a compelling comparison of how other rack systems failed. The finished product is top quality and sturdy when mounted...just as advertised. Worth every penny. Shipped everything as promised. Before you call him about the hardware, make sure you lay everything out - it is all in there! I called and Craig pointed me right to it over the phone. A separate video on YouTube spelled out how to install and he was available on the phone for questions. As personal and helpful service as you could expect from three states away. Thanks, Craig. read more

Just had Craig out to install two 4' x 8' overhead racks in my garage (1000lb rated) and could not be happier. Racks look great and are very solid looking. Craig is very courteous and professional. He was on time and installed the units within about an hour. The racks themselves are his own design, and are of very high quality, I have seen others but they don't compare to the ones I had installed today. Highly recommend this company and their product. The only downside was that I had to wait a couple of weeks for my appointment as he is that busy! But I think that is a great endorsement of his business. Word has gotten around! read more
