Great place to hang and and have a few drinks while on the water but the food needs alot of help

Great place to hangout. Has a awesome pool too hangout in when it's hot. Pros- pool is awesome, breakfast is great, beers are cold, they make special drinks that are delicious Cons- Very expensive for what it is. Not much shade. Some waitress make it seem like your bothering them. Lunch items are ok, other places in town are better. Guy bussing the tables cleared our plates and drinks before we were done. read more

I never like to leave negative reviews, but what we experienced Monday shouldn't ever happen. We live locally. We like to support local establishments. We waited until after the holiday weekend to avoid the crowds and chaos. We arrived about 10am, when the website said they opened, only to find several people already eating. Clearly they opened prior to 10:00am. We stood around and waited to have someone tell us "seat yourself" or "how many in your party" only to have the young gals walk right past us several times. We decided to sit facing the river and watch the boats. After sitting for a good 15 mins, I went inside to get a menu and order drinks. I was met by a older woman who said are you sitting outside? Did you need some help? I said yes, explained we sat ourselves and nobody had came out to help us. I ordered an iced tea and two strawberry lemonade whiskey drinks. The ice tea was absolutely disgusting, it had things floating in it. When brought to the attention of the waitress, she said she'd replace it. That never happened. The whiskey drinks were so atrocious, definitely not the way they were a few months back. It was over iced, watered down whiskey. There was no color to it whatsoever meaning there was no strawberry in it. It looked like muddled water. At 10:27am, we were told lunch started @ 11:00am. "I'll be back in a few to check on you" said the waitress. I ended up going inside to order 1 more drink and checkout. I ordered vodka diet, and was brought out the same crappy whiskey drink. Out of nowhere the waitress came up and said "we are serving lunch now" I was aware of that. Mind you it's now 11:17am. I made sure to screenshot times on my phone so I knew how long we sat and waited. I get this place caters to the river and out of town crowd. You can tell that in the pricing for what you get. The last few times we have went, it's been terrible service. We like to give places a chance before posting reviews or see if maybe whomever helping us was having a bad day. There was no excuse for the lengthy wait with our server, which by the way we ended up having a young gal help us since our server disappeared. $14.00 for 8 wings. They weren't the best. A lot of smoke flavor but no crisp for being wings. Most wings are baked or friend. Texturally, it was gagging. I asked for a drink menu 3x and never got one. Can't even tell you what I paid per drink. This is what $50.00 gets you-(1) 8 piece wing, 3 small iced 'whiskey' drinks, 1 ice tea. Never again. I still feel I was overcharged. I never got an itemized receipt, just a total because once again I had to go inside and pay. I was told "I'll bring your card out to you." I also get people don't want to work and you're supposed to have patience with places, but there's always inconsistencies with stories from anyone who's been here. It's definitely changed from the little building on the ledge it used to be years ago. Overpriced, horrible service. Monday ended our years upon years of going to Topock 66. read more

What else can you ask for in the middle of the desert? Your out in the middle of nowhere until you pull up to Topock. When you arrive you will find boat and car parking. This is the only place around where you can fill your boat up with gas on the water. They also have a restaurant, gift shop, pool and swim up bar. Relax, enjoy the view with a cold drink before you head back out on the river. read more

We stop here in our boat on every river trip. The Patty Melt and Watermelon Vodkarita are my favorites at this spot. What truly sets this place apart is the inviting atmosphere and service. After our meal, we will take a dip in the pool, have another drink, and enjoy the view. I highly recommend checking out this place. read more

Father's Day food was ok. Not very warm. What was really bad was the customer service. When the two young employees tried to take the umbrella down at my table since they thought it would get windy, the umbrella hit my collarbone and spilled my drink. They just started leaving without saying a word. Really?? I had to say something to them. And asked them to have my waitress come over as the table was a mess and my drink was gone (expensive drink) No sorry, no how are you? Another employee came over and said so sorry. The waitress didn't even clean the table right away. Not a good experience. read more

This place couldn't be any cooler if it tried. I'm not a desert , river, melting in the heat stroke type person, I'm a valley girl that spend all my time growing up at the beach, I'm an ocean dweller, But OMG this place is the shizzle , wizzle, rock it to you place!!!Food is good and decent bar/cafe food. The ambiance is phenomenal for what it stands to be. In Topock, AZ. I didn't even know where that was til last year. So they have the river, the pool, the bridge w trains running through it, and decent food and drinks and a live band?!? Ok!I'm in every time I'm around this spot! You should too! And bring the kids! I gotta admit this is not easy to say, but WTH happened? First, I'm glad you're open and making money during all this Covid time. I want local businesses to stay around. That said, again, WTH? Last few times we've been there the servers acted as is we were bothering them. I realize it can't be easy to work there when it's hot. But you took the job knowing that. From bartenders to servers, we feel like everyone just doesn't want to be there. I mean, I even asked a couple servers to smile. Made a pit stop here since it was on our way from Grand Canyon to Los Angeles. I thought the atmosphere was fun and very laid back. It sort reminded me of a American camp atmosphere, there was a pool and some people come to visit on boats and jestki. The patio was fun and cool, I thought the chairs were very fun and bathrooms were funny especially men's (husband's picture). However, the service was alright and food was fine. We waited many for 15 minutes before someone took our order, and it couldn't be possible be that busy since there really weren't that many people. I consistently had to go inside and ask for manus, order and check. The food was fine because for a burger, it didn't feel warm and fries were cold, which made me think that food was out for a while aka the waitress was slacking. read more

I love the bar and restaurant, it's a routine destination when I'm out on the river with friends. The food is always great but it does get very busy so grab a beer & be patient! The reason I only give 3 stars is because the fuel pumps SUCK! You can't read the display and the last time I was there I really needed fuel and the store was closed so I couldn't get any help. Had to ride fumes to get back down to the launch ramp. Those pumps need to be upgraded!! read more

We get out of the boat and walk up to the restaurant. They have someone on patio before you walk into the restaurant handing out bottles of water! They really know how to host here. Every time we have been here you seat yourself wherever you want. We like sitting outside looking out to the river. The seats are to funny because they are butts. Food: wings are so good!!! I have only tried the spicy ones but they do have bbq. All bbq is AMAZING they know what they are doing! Haven't been disappointed here. Service is always on point and everyone is so nice! Come here for pancakes because they are the best pancakes I've had. Beware because they are huge too!! The outside bar has been closed most of the time we've gone. (We usually go before the hot season begins so they have that part closed). This time it was open and they have thrifty ice cream as well as a full bar. I totally recommend this place for anyone, they have a swimming pool and the atmosphere is so welcoming! Final note: bathrooms are outside, men's restrooms have lips as their urinals. Women's restrooms have posters of men up, yes cheesy but it's something. read more

Such a great place!!! Cool decor, good views and happy and fun staff! Super funny barstools and hilarious urinals in the men's bathroom. I had a quesadilla with pork that was crisp and hot. Great salsa too. Hubby had the philly steak sandwich with thinly sliced tri tip and gigantic homemade onion rings. Ended up in the gift shop for shirts. read more

So the first time I came here, I had an awful experience, hence the one star review. Fast forward a year later, we now frequent Topock 3-6 times a month during the summer and it's one of our go-to places with the littles when we don't feel like taking the boat out but want to take them swimming. My daughter begs us to take her to "the pool with no sand". We've had quite a few different dishes and they have all been pretty good--chicken fingers, cheeseburger, BBQ tri-tip sandwich, wings, pulled pork sandwich, and tons of fries. Good size portion and reasonably priced. They have live bands on the weekends, and the pool is great for keeping the kids entertained. Service is decent. They turn the food around pretty quick. read more

Had a great time here, on my way out from CA to TX. We stopped for lunch around 1 pm. During COVID they weren't busy, and most tables and areas were empty, so they spaced folks out in terms of the seating. Very friendly staff, and somewhat dog friendly too. Food was excellent. Hi Everyone! You can list me as a fan of Topock 66. I have been coming to this place for years and years and I have to say they have certainly come a long way from where they were a few short years ago! They have done nothing but upgrade this establishment! There is now a pool for patrons. Something that is WAY cool in the heat of the summer as well as a way to keep the kiddies occupied while mom and dad stop for a bite or a cold one. The docks have been upgraded and so has the fuel dock. Which is also open 24 hours now! The only negative here is they have no real specialized docking for jetskis. Having these would push them up to 5 stars in my book as we love to head out to Topock 66 from Havasu on the jetskis for breakfast on nice weekday mornings! A beautiful ride for a great breakfast! The breakfasts here are top notch. Great quality food, more than adequate quantities and excellence service. We have yet to experience a wait, but again, we usually head here mid week. If you go often, be sure to ask for the breakfast punch card. 20% off your breakfast and a free breakfast when you hit the required punches! A truly great deal! For lunch, I have only had the pulled pork sandwich. But, it is only cause it is so good that I can't find a reason to have anything else. I have been told the burgers are quite good as well. Food is cheaper and better here than Pirates Cove, giving it just one more reason to stop here! Check out the gift shop as well. Jim PS Don't forget to check out the urinals in the men's room. By land or by river, this is a nice place to stop by for a break from your day. Stopped here on the way to Havasu from Vegas and glad I did. Very cool looking place, decor fits well with the vibe. Had a quick lunch before heading back on the road. This is the first place I have seen gizzards on the menu outside to the south or the upper mid west so had to order them. Nicely done, breading was not too much and the seasoning was spot on. Good amount of crispy hot fries on the side too. Ate at the bar, while standing. The bar stools are just way too cheesy looking to actually sit in. You can see from other's photos what I mean. This one thing could use a do-over for sure. Certainly will be stopping by here on all trips out west to try more items from the pretty extensive menu. Highly recommend stopping by to check it out. read more

Came last Saturday wanted to launch our new boat for the first time. Wanted to use a quiet launch that had no large waves. Well upon launching there was trash and debris. Two guys watched me go and move debris from the launch so it doesn't get stuck in my jet drive. While I'm removing it all they comment we just did that two weeks ago... little disappointed to see that they have no issue commenting on it when a customer is doing it but not get off their butt to clean it.. I launched my boat and was hoping they would have cleaned it before I came back later in the day.. well it was worse when. I came back.. I just backed my trailer to create a wave and push the debris away from the launch ramp. I will probably never come back to this place after experiencing that. You paid for a launch and end up having to to work to use a service your paying for.. I run a Private Jet Terminal and this low level of customer service is just sad.. read more

LOVED almost every part of this place! The food was delish- the jalapeño poppers to die for! The service was awesome! Renee is a great server, and being around her makes one feel great! She's vibrant and energetic and seemed truly happy to be there. I would have rated this place a five but for the fact that the photos of womens' asses on the wall are demeaning (yes I'm one of THOSE women- you know- the ones with brains AND asses), and no self-respecting feminist could give it a 5. It's funny I changed my life and hadn't been here in over 10 years. Well my son bought a boat and here i am. What a huge improvement, the place looked really good. Like a pool party waiting to happen. The pool and lounge chairs were a great touch along with nice outdoor table and chairs, I was impressed! The service was nice and friendly and the tri tip breakfast burrito very tasty and huge. Oh and your spicy bloody Mary's were perfect. Great spot to stop by for a drink and wonderful service. The food though, not so much. Just keep going if you're hungry. And if you are starving, whatever you do, don't try the gizzards or the ribs and also, the fries were pretty much raw. All three, absolutely terrible. What a great place to stop in at on the way to Lake Havasu and enjoy the sun. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Highly recommended, people who complain about this place are just unhappy. They have music, great food, great service and a nice pool area! read more

Updating my review from 11 months ago and am sad to report it seems the service and food quality has declined. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews. If you check my reviews, they're mostly positive. But this time I must speak the truth and hopefully management and ownership at this location will work on quality improvement. We have loved this place in the past and will be sad if it no longer fits in our frequent water travel plans. The past few visits(all this summer) have proven to steadily decline. More than once we had the same grumpy bar tender. The most recent time she was even conversing with a nearby bar guest about how some customers thought she was rude. Internally I was agreeing but of course didn't tell her I agreed. She was so grumpy that I was afraid to even place my request for fear she'd be irritated somehow. Not the type of attitude you want to have behind your bar, especially on busy days. Yesterday we sat indoors with the family and the disappointment hit an all time low. Our server first approached us when only part of our guests had been seated which was fine. We placed our drink order and when she returned, our last guest was then seated, however, she didn't even ask for his drink order. He typically orders several alcoholic beverages ($$$$) so she was really missing out on an opportunity here. While we reviewed the menu, the server went to eat her food behind the bar. This alone is not professional. Employees should not be seen eating by their customers. If I were a restaurant owner, I'd want my guests to feel their servers were there to serve them! She put down her food to come take our order and hastily asked us what we wanted while at the same time running her tongue along her teeth to clean any food debris out of the way. Not only unprofessional but gross. Food came and the ribs were the most over-cooked ribs I've ever had. I've been to this restaurant over a dozen times the past several years and was excited to try the ribs for the first time thinking that a place that specializes in roasted ribs would have it down pat! Nope. The chicken wrap had only a few pieces of chicken as well. The other items were "okay" but not amazing. NEAR the end of our meal, the server brought us our check but we informed her we wanted more drinks. She held the check. Later I set my credit card on the table to signify, now, we were done. She came over, cleared a few plates, and I figured she was then going to bring us the final check, but she didn't! She stood at the computer kiosk for at least 10 minutes then disappeared behind the bar. After an excessive amount of time, I got up and went to the bar to inquire about our server and check. She suddenly appeared from the back and didn't even apologize that I'd been looking for her. needless to say she only got a 15% tip and I always tip 20% minimum. Honestly the most disappointing dining out experience I've had in months. Topoc,please improve!! This could be such a great stop but seriously considering pulling it from our repertoire if this type of experience continues. read more

Stopped in for lunch. Parked the boat in the courtesy slips. The meat smoker in the lot smell great. Two people in our group got the tri tip sandwich. They liked it. I had the club. Hmmmm. I didn't love this place. We came here on the boat from Lake Havasu and ordered an assortment of things from the menu. Seems like a big party place and a good spot to have drinks, but the food was meh. Ordered the frickles as an appetizer, and got four burned fried pickles for $8. Gah! The Smoked Pulled Chicken Wrap was a bit dry, and priced at $11. The rest of our party wasn't in love with their food either, and the whole dining room seemed kinda dirty and unkept. Pretty unmemorable experience. If you're going to eat out in Havasu, I recommend checking out the new Hangar 24 at the airport. Much better value. I guess you pay for being "on the river" at this place. read more

My all time favorite 4x4 destination restaurant and bar! It's unique design and location with a marina connected to the restaurant makes this a one of a kind location! The customer service is fantastic and the food quality is above average compared to the price point of the menu! This is the ultimate side by side destination for lunch or a cocktail. Live bands play periodically and the seating is available all over the restaurant, patio and pool area. This restaurant makes a great destination for a day of off roading and swooping In for a bite and a drink. read more
