We stayed at Topock66 on a road trip through the Southwest. It was. a great place to stay after a long drive and real close to Oatman, AZ (home of the burros). When I'm in Laughlin, I try to find new places to eat especially breakfast. After doing a search on Yelp, I bookmarked Topock 66 and I headed there earlier this week. The web site said they open at 10 AM and I got there about 10:15. The restaurant is on the east side of the building. The first thing you come to from the parking lot is their store. You either walk left or right to get to the back where the restaurant is. I walked in and sat at the bar. In a short time, a woman gave me a menu. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast--eggs sunny--and rye toast. It comes with breakfast potatoes. It was well prepared and it was just the kind of spot I like. There were some great views of the bay formed by some diverted water from the Colorado River to form the Havasu National Wildlife Preserve. If I lived in the area and had a boat, I'm sure this would be a stop I'd make often. Lots of dock space. Plenty of outdoor seating along a fence looking at the river and the wetlands. There's also a pool for swimming. I am so glad I stopped here. The breakfast was good, the service was also, and the views were wonderful! read more

First time coming here on our way back east and sat at the bar. The coors light on tap wasn't working but the aluminum can ones were super cold. Fourth of July at 11 and it was PACKED! We had the smoked chicken wrap with beans and fries and it was super good. Pretty noisy inside but it's a bar/restaurant with a pool so that's to be expected with tons of people. we had a good time but we got ripped off they charged us twice for a deposit and when we asked for a refund they said they refunded it however we did not receive it !! we tried calling BETH AND CHIP the managers over 20 times to get our refund apparently they never work or don't know how to return calls to i believe at this point they took our money which is about 400 dollars that's why they don't call us back they also tried to charge my sister in law 6000 dollars on her card for a 60$ charge cause the girl punched in to many zeros so hotel was nice but staff is awful and the managers do nothing !! We moved a table about 10 feet to combine with another because the umbrella shaded 2 out of 6 of the chairs and every single server had a terrible attitude telling us to move it back even though one of the servers was already going to ask the manager about it for us. Then the manager comes out and she's even more rude. We even said we would move it back when we were done. We ended up leaving because we didn't want to give them any more of our money. We were driving through Topock on a Sunday afternoon, it was 111°! We stopped by this Topock 66 for lunch. We ordered a tri-tip dip, pull Pork sandwich, and chicken tenders. The tri-tip dip was good, the pull pork needed more BBQ sauce, and then tenders need to be called crispers! They served bottle water. The waitress wasn't the most friendly or attentive. We wouldn't go back, but glad we stopped to see the place. read more

You've gotta stop here if you are on a road trip! I've never been to a restaurant before where I could hang out in the pool while waiting for my food. What a vibe. You'll be very sad if you don't bring your swimsuit. We were here on a weekday, but I imagine this place is bumpin' on the weekend. While the service was a little slow (they were slammed inside and we were sitting outside), I would most certainly stop here again while road trippin' down Route 66. Cool place to eat, great live music and a pool... what more could you want? I'll tell you what you would want, friendly service and food that is as delicious as the setting. Well, that won't happen. I will say that our server was really friendly last time, but for the most part the {female} servers are more concerned about their looks than helping serve or take down a meal order with any sort of smile. I guess if I were a young, hot, fit male the story would be different... who knows. Onion rings are pretty bomb though, even with all the crunchies fallen off those things are really yummy!! Chili cheese fries are not my style, but they always are a hit at the table. I don't like their chili, it has a weird flavor. How about Gollywobblers or gizzards? You can have those too. Yes, I've tried the Gollywobblers (who doesn't want fried balls, right?), they taste like gamey chickie nuggies... so if you like that, hit 'em up! I'm told they have Frickles too (fried pickles) but on each occasion that I've eaten there, they've been out. Either they are good or they don't make a whole lot. Mac n Cheese is buttery noodle topped with a plop of grated cheese on top, you mix it all up and it's pretty decent too. On our last visit, my friend were talking about the Woven Bacon BLT, so I thought why not. Nope. I've woven bacon plenty of times at home, so unless you just want to see woven bacon, I'd skip it because even the bacon was meh. Cheeseburger was nothing really to write home about either. Drinks have always been flowing and refilled as needed, including alcohol. No real complaints there. Full bar, beers on tap. On our last visit, we were shocked at how completely rude the staff was, not necessarily our server but the hostess and the "greeter" type people. We actually got treated like idiots because we didn't know that you had to go in the exit only door to get inside to the restroom... I mean who doesn't know that, right? (note: complete sarcasm). People just seemed really pissed off more than usual that day. It's not a super friendly place to be, but last visit was a topper. I booked my stay the Topck hotel 3 months prior to my arrival date. At the time the rooms were over $300 a night. 3 days prior to my arrival I see that the rooms are now $245 a night and Expedia had them listed for $165. I called and asked if they can match that price. They said no. I said well then I want to cancel My reservation and rebook. They said I could not because it was too late. I told them its 3 days till My check in. She said I was 1 hour within my 72 hour no refund period, so they cannot do it. With an early check in feee and boat dock fee bill was $799 for 2 nights. i asked if they can apply the 10% military discount at check in. She said she would. However, after I checked out and saw my bill it was not applied. I called them and they said it was too late to apply the Military discount. not to mention the hundreds that I spent in the restaurant and bar. we took a group of 15 people for my wife's bday occuplyjng 6 rooms. My group spent over 10K at that resort in 2 days. You would think they would at least make an effort to accomotate a discount that is listed on their site. the bathrooms don't have any AC. I felt like I was back in Iraq sitting in a port-Jon! lol. However, The rooms are nice a spacious. The service was really good with a great atmosphere. lesson learned, make sure you get a good rate in writing up front. They also charged sister $6000 for a food bill that was supposed to be $60. They did correct that when she called them on it. read more

Service, food, reasonable prices and it's on the river, you can't beat it. We would come to Topock Gorge Marina years ago, there's no replacing that place good memories. But Topock 66 definitely is helping us make new memories on the river. And Chip the general manager always making sure you're taken care of! So much fun! I found my new place to visit when I am up at the river. The food was surprisingly good and prices are on point. I ordered a veggie wrap and then split it with someone which was plenty to eat. The portions are big and others in my party got the chili dog, chili cheese fries (which are HUGE), burger and chicken tenders. We were a party of 8 and had no problem being accommodated, didn't wait at all, and then the server was at our table within a couple of minutes to take our order. The drinks were poured perfectly. If I can suggest an alcoholic drink, order the Vice 66 which is comparable to a lava flow but with a rum pour on top. We renamed it the " Delicious McKee" and the owner, Chip, got a good laugh out of it. Perfect drink when it is hot out. The vibe is super cool and the outdoors is awesome. After eating indoors we moved to the big pool to continue with our beverages and meet other fun people. They have corn hole, an outdoor bar with a stage on top, the longest bar facing the river with cute seats Be sure to take a glimpse of the men's restroom when no one is inside, you will have a nice laugh. We were staying in Laughlin, but there's just so much of casinos you can take. Took a little jaunt out to Topock 66 for a little adventure. The staff were great, the food was good, the locals were awesome. The heat was life altering. Prices were good, the bar stools were hilarious, selection was pretty average bar food which is exactly what we were in the mood for. The pool activity was entertaining. Good views too. When it was time To leave I asked the outside bar for some ice for my water bottle as we were going back to the boat. She complied nicely then this guys comes up telling me. Been by here and finally stopped. 5 stars for nostalgia and great dive bar vibe. The food a solid 3. I had the Philly cheese tritip with dip and my wife had the cheeseburger. We wanted meat medium rare but they don't really do that. Only drawback on food. We both had side order of fries. They were super hot and tasty. We had a couple draft Coors lights that could have been colder and a little pricey for $7 each. If food was prepared to your likeness and beer colder it would have gotten 5 stars. The reviews on Google show this place to be real lively. My friend brought me here and he said he's had a great time when he's here. Sadly when we showed up yesterday it was 1.5 hours before close and they close early at 8 PM. I didn't know that at the time since there are no signs anywhere that state closing time. But I should've looked on Google Maps. (My bad) First thing I noticed was the place is big and looks very nice. There's a huge pool and there's a bar actually at the pool's edge, so you can walk up to the bar from inside the pool. They were very few people there at the time. We sat down to order food. The menu is very small, which I thought would mean that they do the food really well but the food came out almost room temperature. Pulled pork should be served hot. There was no sauce mixed with the pulled pork. So they just took some pork put it on a bun and put the sauce on the side. I did not ask for sauce on the side so this is their usual presentation. The waitress said that they were running out of ingredients in the kitchen, but didn't say what we ordered was part of that list. The food came out way too fast which let me know that they did not cook it to order. I ate it because we were hungry from a long day of driving. (Normally I would send it back) The other person who had pulled pork didn't seem to enjoy her meal either. The hotdog and the chicken tenders seemed really good to my other friends. At this point it was 8:05 PM. I could not find our waitress, people were busy hurrying up to clean before the place had even closed, so now that the kitchen was closed the cleaning intensified. I was thinking to myself if the bar doesn't close until nine this furry of mops on the floor is not really going to make people want to order drinks or stay at all. So I decided to order a BLT since the pulled pork was not great. This one came out fast too and had no mayo and only one slice of tomato. (It's a BLT it's only bacon lettuce and tomato.) I was told it closes at 8pm but the bar is open until 9 PM. for a while so I had to ask a different waitress to get the bacon Mayo that is part of the order. She wanted to remake the sandwich but I said just bring the bacon mayo and I'll put it on the sandwich. She brought back regular mayo and that's when I knew it was a wrap. I've worked service before and I know when people when I get the heck out of work so I returned the sandwich and made my way to the bar to grab a drink since I thought I could at least get a drink for the next 45 minutes. It was 8:15 PM at this point so I ordered a drink and tried to talk to the bartender she seemed like she was in a hurry as well. Talking to other bar staff while I'm sitting there waiting. She made the drink and I can't tell if it was good or bad, I'm not much of a drinker so I can't say it was a bad drink. I want to buy another drink but she said that the bar is closed. I'm wondering the bars close at 8:15 PM when you told me that the bars open until 9 PM. So the writing was definitely on the wall it was time to go. I only drank about 10% of that drink and left it on the table. I think this place is a really nice restaurant, it has a great location, the views are spectacular, and the best time is probably before 5 PM. But if you're going to be open, and you're going to serve food and drinks, it should be a great experience even at the end of the day. I'm on my way to Chicago so hopefully I get a chance to come back here again but not soon. I hope they fix these issues. read more

We are locals and love to go here after boating on the river. You can pull up to the docks and enjoy a meal. The waitress was very nice and the food was good but... it was extremely warm inside the restaurant. Our food took over 30 minutes to come after the time we put in our order. Asked the waitress to check on our food and she said it was coming. Finally asked the bartender to check on our food because our waitress had not come back out. She did check and said it was coming. She was very rude after I asked what was taking so long. There were 3 other tables that were in the restaurant so it was not busy. She said they had big parties, it's 100* in the kitchen and she didn't need to explain to me why we didn't have our food! I'm giving three stars because the food was good. Had a wonderful time! We stayed over a night on our way home from the Grand Canyon to Orange County. Every staff member was super present and attentive. The food was delicious! It was blazing hot but we went to the pool with the kids around 6:30pm and stayed for well over an hour. We had food twice at the restaurant. Once indoors and once poolside. Both times the service was superb. The rooms are spacious enough for the kids to move about. Love the modern yet comforting updates. Highly recommended!! read more

Unique restaurant. We've been driving for hours and it was the nearest (only) restaurant available. We stopped in and first thing I noticed was the cool location. Located right off a river. We ate inside because it was scorching hot. But on the inside it was a lil cozy but bearable. I got the pulled chicken sandwich. The theme definitely tilts towards fun beach party, but there's enough going on here to keep it interesting for everyone. The staff are plentiful and friendly, and they we're hustling quite well when we were there. The bar is well stocked, and the bartender looked to be making some interesting concoctions for other folks while we were there. I went with a pool chicken sandwich, I was very pleased at how fresh and soft the bun was, and I could tell the chicken had actually been hand pulled in the kitchen and not from a bag. The barbecue sauce had a nice sweet kick to it without being overpowering. The coleslaw was so so, but certainly not bad. Prices are a little high, but you have to consider location.. This restaurant is accessible by vehicle or boat, how cool is that! This place located right before the beginning of the historic Route 66. This is the only building in the location and it's in the middle of no where. On the other side of the restaurant is Colorado River, you can enjoy the nice view and food all at once! And, the cool part about this restaurant is, there's a pool and hot tub! Guests can go for a swim or dip in the pool in a hot day. What a great idea for business! This place has plenty of outdoor seating, no problem brining your pets here. The food quality is good and is amazingly delicious, but it's pricy. We ordered one BLT, one Phily, and one extra Patty for our dog. They wowed us when they brought the food to table because they put the extra Patty in a doggy bowl for our dog. They are so sweet and thoughtful! We will definitely come back when we come visit Lake Havasu again! read more
