The first time was $65 and the next time was $88 for the same service "Full groom with haircut" and now they want to charge me $212 for the same service!!!! This is the same price my friend pays them to cut her "90 lb" dog.WTF My dogs hair doesn't grow fast nor does it get matted. So WHY so much more, they gave me some excuse that the clipper blades the groomers use cost so much. My dog is tiny it probably takes 4-5 passes with the clippers and her hair is not that long when I bring her in. Especially with the price of gas and groceries that is a 330% increase for a "9 lb " chihuahua mix. They obviously don't want my business. I wouldn't give them any stars if I could because of how greedy they are.

My girl shows off her stunning conformation in a St Tropez clip most of the year and a heavy sporting in winter, but it's her groomer who is the real star! Jacquie is flawlessly consistent and technically excellent. Even better, she is gentle and kind. She has been grooming Brodie since her puppy clip days and Brodie loves visiting her, rushing to greet and smiling the famous poodle smile as soon as she sees Jacquie. If you have a dog that needs grooming once every 3-5 weeks, then you know what a piecemeal - even disastrous - quest it can be in this neck of the woods. I have Brodie bathed and combed out between grooms at a couple of other salons, but I would never have anyone but Wags & Wiggles do her full groom & clip. Every other dog I've seen at Wags & Wiggles looks equally stunning and happy. Jacquie clearly does not overbook, as some sole operators do - she gives each dog all the time and attention needed, and it shows. Jacquie's pricing is very fair - Brodie is a 68lb Royal standard (so she's taller than many standards) and hers is a specialized clip. $75-85 is very reasonable for the top notch service Jacquie delivers - obviously smaller breeds cost less. (I have friends with standard poodles who pay anything up to $120 per grooming around Boulder.) If you are looking for a terrific groomer in this area, look no further!
