So here I am writing this review about a company I actually enjoy. The start of the experience went a little like this our server Mary who wasn't attentive at all took our order. Now me being from the service industry I move a certain way she took the order and not once wrote anything down. Now here we are the food arrives and things aren't correct we're missing an appetizer. Our server stood there just watching I even asked her did she need a second when she was done taking the first order she proceeded to tell me no. If it wasn't for Ty & Karl two phenomenal managers helping out the day then I would've given them a solid 2 stars. Happy to have some people who care and are there to help Thank you Karl & Ty for you hard work I appreciated it to the fullest But server to server next time just write done the order it'll always work in the end read more

Top Golf is a fun event for work gatherings. We will often bring guests to this location for a couple hours of golf and social time. Pretty much people of all skill will enjoy the experience, even if they aren't "golfers." Although they offer great packages for catering your event, I've found it much easier (and cheaper) to arrive ahead of time, book 2 bays, and allow everyone to order what they want off the menu rather than a predetermined selection where you are charged by headcount. Couple of favorites - Mushi (think burrito served like sushi), Chicken & Waffles, Sunrise Burger, Sliders, any flavor of Flatbread, and Injectable Donut Holes. If you plan to golf, you'll need a members card - cost is around $5 each, $1 to replace one if lost. read more

Top Golf is always a nice place to visit but this one in particular has outstanding service. Even if you just stop in for food or drinks the staff there is exceptional. Alejandro behind the bar is a true professional. As a business traveler who eats out often I have come to appreciate great service when I see it in a consistent basis. The food menu is creative and the scenery is very nice. No wonder Top Golf locations are popping up around the country. They clearly understand that the people make the difference and great customer service is urgent. On another note, I have to compliment a manager named Gabriel who visited our table a few visits ago. When I saw him interact with staff members that day I was pretty impressed with how he was talking with them. They all had smiles on their faces the entire time there. Good people. I can't say that enough. read more

Golf clubs are provided, and it's nice to have unlimited balls for your time period. Different games are available so it's not boring like a driving range. Staff is friendly and helpful. However when you first come in there's no clear sign to tell you that you have to get your membership card in a different line so sometimes you end up waiting a long time to check-in only to realize that you have to be in another line. FYI you have to start your game before 11 o'clock to get the cheaper price. So even if you get there early but you end up waiting half an hour to start because there aren't enough bays, that's too bad. Very well run overall. read more

Where to start... my husband and I are from Lake Charles which was devastated from Hurricane Laura. We decided to escape for the weekend since our home would be without power for 4-6 weeks. Additionally, it was my husbands birthday which gave us an even better reason to escape and celebrate. We checked in at the front desk with a very friendly girl who was extremely helpful in all that she did for us. I was extremely impressed by how organized the whole process was! I also noticed how well the facility was being sanitized and all of the workers were COVID-19 compliant. The bay we sat us was extremely comfortable and they had fans blowing to cool us down while we were playing. It was busy, but our server Edd greeted us promptly, asking us about ourselves. We explained we were from Lake Charles and the situation that brought us to Houston and Edd went above and beyond to make my husband's birthday special regardless of the less than desirable circumstances. At one point during our play, a manager came by to check to see how things were going, and I mentioned to her how amazing Edd was to us during our visit. They were both so extremely kind to us and took the best care of us while we were there. We ordered the steak nachos and my husband had a pitcher of beer. The nachos were delicious and had the right amount of a hipster taste to them (they had a pesto sauce on top and were plated in a more modern, stylish way) while still maintaining the intentional taste of nachos. The beer was ice cold and kept that way with a neat frozen bar that was in the core of the pitcher. We could not be more appreciative for the staff at Top Golf for welcoming us and having us there for such a "normal-feeling" experience during a time in our life that is anything but normal. We will be back again and again and again and hope to get to see Edd and his smiling face (even if it's behind his mask) when we do! We are so happy and pleased with how we were treated and hope that others are able to experience the exceptional hospitality that we experienced while we were there. read more

Top Golf is always a lot of fun. We came with friends and played for just under three hours. The sun set and the lights on the course turned disco - it was a great time! The service is also always top notch. Olivia and Aaron took care of us last time we were there. Both of them worked so hard and to keep us happy, and they were always quick to bring another drink (with a smile), or help out when we had issues with the golf balls. Thanks for the great service guys! read more

The service was good. We had a great time!! Playing golf was fun with different games. Will definitely come back!

This review is mainly in regards to their food. As far as golf, the place is super fun and the game types available are great for friendly competition. They have friendly staff members and a large selection of alcoholic drinks. However, I made the mistake of coming on an empty stomach. I ordered the chicken and waffle Sliders alongside the Angus beef donuts Sliders. Both were bland and rubbery. It tasted like it was microwaved. If you're coming just to golf and grab drinks 4/5 stars. My best advice is to eat prior to arriving. read more

Went last night. We had some issues with our machine. Server and manager helped out right away and then added extra time to our play!

Nice place to practice your hits or just play a bit of golf or have fun with family. First time ever that I went to a place like this and actually very disappointed. A bunch of employees standing around in front of you waiting for you to order, very uncomfortable. I brought my water bottle and my husband a vitamin drink and they told us we couldn't open it! We didn't want to eat or drink, just play and have fun. They shouldn't force people to buy food and drink!!! This is not fun, it's like shopping at a store when you are being watched the entire time. Horrible! Never coming back read more

Clean, friendly staff, good food, and great drinks! Definitely something fun to do with a group of 8 or less.

Super fun, our server Jacob was awesome! The only thing I could possibly complain about was how rude/cocky the bartender was, man. I don't usually complain, and I can take a little attitude here and there, but wow wow wow. Our server was busy so I approached the bar to order some drinks for my sister in law and I, obviously I only had my ID and he needed two IDs for two drinks. I used to bartend so I totally understood and was going to head back to our booth to get my sister in laws ID, but our server Jacob came up and asked what I needed. (Because he was great), Alejandro(or alex?) the bartender sat there staring at me. I told the bartender that I would just order from my server, and that it was no big deal. He tells me "that would be ideal, seeing as he's your SERVER" Wow wow wow, no need to be rude. I was planning on tipping the bartender as well as our server, but never mind!! The server got tipped, the bartender could have if he wasn't so rude. Besides the rude bartender, we had a great time and we will be back, just not to the bar if this bartender is working. Granted, I look young. But for me to have my ID, and say I would get the other ID, for him to stay rude is a little much. Word to the wise, Alex! Don't be an ass, you weren't even busy! read more

Saturday afternoon 2/8 was my first time there in a while. Since it was a 1.5 hour wait, my husband n I decided to grab a bite at the bar. After 10 minutes, I was not greeted compared to another guest who was greeted with an Hello and asked immediately what they would like, which I thought was odd. But then it got worse, the woman fom there, then asked for our credit card immediately compared to asking others for their card after she fixed them drinks. I was horrified by my experience so we asked another bartender to serve us instead, which is why I bumped it to 2 stars. The treatment from the 1st bartender was embarrassing and upsetting. Please treat all patrons the same. read more

I really enjoyed myself here! My husband and I hosted a couples night out and we decided on Top Golf. We ordered several appetizers and enjoyed every bite. I've been going to this location since it opened in mid -2014. Too golf is in fact fun and while its slightly on the expensive side all in ( golf, drinks and food) the atmosphere and fun bonding experiences are worth the costs. My husband's teenage daughter took golf lessons and her feedback was super positive. She thought the staff was very service oriented too. We tend to order the BBQ wings (I think they are fantastic), a few drinks/beers and golf for 2 hours. Both the golf bays and bar areas are generally clean and well serviced. I've had friends order the weekend breakfast and injectable donuts are a hit with the kids. Parking generally isn't an issue but I do know historically the lot has had a lot of car break-ins. The music isn't too loud. TVs generally have most sporting events playing and there's fans and heaters depending on weather needs. read more

I'm glad a place like this opened in Houston, it gives me more reasons to love this city. Top Golf is high-tech and is place everyone has to experience at least once in their life. It's modern designs and hip environment make it a go-to place for friends to hang out or place for co-workers to relax after a long day at work. Downside, it's a bit pricey (as you can see from the other reviews) and to be honest, you'll get more bang for your buck at a traditional driving range. Bottom line, Top Golf is a place you'll want to go to celebrate a promotion or a get together with old pals but not a place to go if you want to go to relax like at a more traditional driving range. read more

No mercy! I say again. No flippin' mercy for TopGolf from this one. To make this short for the people that don't want to read this whole review, TopGolf is a really cool, state-of-the-art facility that offers a casual setting to practice golf, eat, drink, and socialize. BUT, their customer service is pretty dang poor. For those of you that want to know what I'm talking about, read on 'cause imma bouta vent! I was attempting to arrange a large group activity for a group of 25 or so at TopGolf on a Friday evening and knew this was going to be a challenge as the NBA All-Star games was in H-town that weekend. So what do I do? I call in advance. And I call. And I call maybe 7 more time before I can an employee on the line that ultimately gave me INCORRECT information on how to arrange such an event. So, I do as I am told and wait until the day of since bays are first come first serve. So I call. And I call. And I call 32ish times. No. I am not exaggerating. Never get an answer, so I leave a very detailed concise message requesting to call me back for the event on THAT day. I get a call back 3 days later as if they had not listened to my VM at all. This place is making money hand over fist. If you ever go there, you'll know what I am talking about. Please hire competent staff and please answer your dang phones. read more

My girlfriend and I went to TopGolf Houston around 830pm on April 2 with high expectations, based purely on the look of the facility. It's clean and modern-looking and its location right next to I-10 is great. When we arrived, we were excited to play and I'm sure this was apparent to the young lady behind the counter who was polite, but not at all enthusiastic. She and the other workers had been sort of huddled off in a corner behind the counter talking and laughing, so I felt a little like arriving there as customers interrupted their socializing. This also explains why I had to call 7 times before someone picked up the phone, which led me to believe the place was extremely busy before I came. I saw that this was not the case when I arrived. We shrugged that off because we couldn't wait to get playing. The dinner was excellent. High-quality food, far from healthy! But that part wasn't their fault, nobody forced me to order chicken and waffles... The wait-staff wasn't slow with our visit, but when we walked into the restaurant, nobody greeted us and we had to find someone to ask if we seat ourselves. They, like the young lady at the front desk, were highly engaged in socializing with their co-workers and looked at me as though I'd rudely interrupted them. We seated ourselves and our server walked up and asked what we would like to drink (never did catch that name). Our server again was polite, but completely unenthusiastic again which didn't stop us from having fun. We were going to have fun whether these employees wanted us to or not! The concierge desk was exactly the same. They were socializing amongst each other and tolerated us when it came time to ask for a place to play. I think we really inconvenienced her when we smiled and told her our preference would be to play on the 3rd floor as opposed to the 2nd! Once we got to our place to play, 315, your server Alek saved the day. Neither of us had ever met Alek before but as soon as we walked up and were trying to figure things out, he appeared out of nowhere, was smiling and enthusiastic and appeared eager to help! I was surprised by the contrast between him and his co-workers already. Throughout the course of my girlfriend and I playing (and having a great time), he noticed that we were terrible at golf. We, of course, were fully aware of this fact and were laughing while we tried to work on our technique. Alek continually checked in with us, offering his assistance by giving us tips on our swings and he even joked around with us. He was the first employee we had encountered that evening who made us feel welcome and made us feel like he appreciated our business. Alek made us feel like we were friends. I don't know anything about Alek's background or level of education, but I do believe that Alek should be running that place. Management can be learned, and it's easy to learn. Leadership, however, takes a great attitude and a genuine concern for others, and leadership is what TopGolf appeared to be lacking when we visited. As a manager in a customer-facing setting myself, I wish I had 20 employees with Alek's competence and attitude. If you're running TopGolf Houston or you own the place: promote Alek, give him a raise or make him a manager. Sure, you'll sustain a level of success purely based on the quality of fun your game provides, but your location could be ENORMOUSLY more successful if you worked to provide an extraordinary experience for your customers. It won't happen on its own, leadership in that location needs to create accountability around their customer experience. Mine is not the first review to have had the experience my girlfriend and I had--imagine how many more customers you'd have walking in your doors if we were coming away talking about how fun it was AND how great the people were! Those are my two cents. I would recommend TopGolf because the game was a lot of fun. Make sure you ask for Alek, but hopefully he'll be a manager there by the time you do. read more

I would like I update the public on the review I posted earlier regard how horrible the service is at Top Golf and how much of a sham their yelp responses are in a vain and hollow attempt to save face with the yelp reviewing public. After my review someone from Top Golf's organization commented on my review here and informed me that their leadership team was made award of my experience/review and that their director of operations would be contacting me to make amends. This however has not happened and it had been over 2 weeks. Top Golf not only has terrible customer service but their responses here on yelp are a blatant and insulting false gesture of concern meant simple to make it seem as though they give a care when it comes to not only their customers experiences but also their reviews as well as the general yelp using/viewing community. read more

This was my second time at Top Golf and I'm absolutely stunned how terrible this was. The first time was amazing with wonderful service. The second time not so much. After a 3 hour wait we received the worst possible experience. The actual driving range is really fun. $40 for a lane for an hour is a decent price especially if you have a couple people to split it with. Definitely really fun and the climate control is great for hot or cold weather outside. The food was...oh wait our party (8 people) didn't get to try anything because not ONE waiter/server approached us during the 90 minutes we spent playing golf. No kidding. Not one. Unbelievable. We were absolutely stunned. The tables around us were getting service and the servers never approached us. The irony is that the screens around us kept advertising how they would like a 5 star review on Yelp. We told the manager who promised us a better experience next time. Gee thanks! This should never, ever happen. Really upsetting. Get it together Top Golf. And especially waiter at bay 203. We waited 3 hours only to receive terrible service. read more

I went to this spot for the second time as a chaprone for my daughter's field trip. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly staff that gave us directions and something to drink. We were a pretty large group, so they did a great job with organization to accommodate our group. We headed to our golfing station, and had a plush seating arrangement set up. There is enough seating for about 6 people, and there are 6 people to a game. I order a chicken teander platter, and it was just okay. I think I ordered a burger plate the last time, and was under whelmed. The food is average, not worth talking about. The scene is nice, and I like the fact of the free pool table, bean bag, and checkers option. There is enough seating to lounge around, and it's a place where the whole family can kick it. Kuddos i'll recommend this place. read more

You know what's great? I rated this place one star on our first and last visit, and some manager reached out to try to make themselves look responsive and caring. She asked me to provide a private e-mail or phone number to reach me so that their Director of Operations could contact me. A week later-- no one has contacted me. What a sham and a crappy attempt at Public Relations so save their rear on Yelp. I'm more offended they even tried to look like they care about their customers, they shouldn't have bothered to respond to my review in the first place on Yelp. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since it's opening but the timing was never right until this week! As others have mentioned the facility is really nice with three tiers of driving ranges and each bay has a fancy computer system that allows you to play. However, there are a few obstacles to jump through till you can actually play. First, If it is your first time, you must buy a membership, I just went with the lifetime $5 membership which includes free club rental, but if you are really into this stuff and not a n00b like me then you might want to consider the following: $100/year Gold membership: free rental + welcome gift +1 VIP Priority Pass + 10% off food and non-alcoholic beverage discount + free group coaching + league invites +$1,000 hole-in-one prize $250 per month AKA Super High Roller: Same as Gold + free Platinum Callaway Upgrade + unlimited VIP Priority Pass + unlimited play Mon-Thur till 6 PM + unlimited play Fri-Sun till 12 PM + $120 Peak play per month+ 10% event discount + Platinum drinks + invitation to exclusive events + $100 Initiation fees The next obstacle to overcome is the wait, we called before heading over around 7 PM and was told there would be no issue with getting a bay. Sadly this was not the case and we ended up waiting for over an hour which in retrospect isn't bad compared to other reviewers who had to wait longer. To keep you preoccupied there is a drinking bar/lounge area, shuffleboard, pool table, life size Connect Four and I think even Xbox or some type of gaming device. We ended up spending most of our time at the bar and that was quite an interesting experience. Our waiter was very special...When we asked for a drink menu he gives us a food menu, he didn't smile, and he kept on messing up that another waiter even asked if everything was ok. Too polite to say anything we said yeah, but in reality many things were wrong. Strike one, when preparing drinks, don't touch your eyebrow and then use the same hand to squeeze in the lime. Strike two, ordering two Arnold Palmers, the first was a reddish hue and the other one the color of iced tea. Confused, we asked our waiter if these are the same, he said yes but accidentally pressed the wrong button (cranberry). Strike 3, bf was about to reach for his drink and it was missing, our waiter thought someone just left it and decided to throw it away...we were still sitting right by the drink. Anyways enough of the drinking fiasco, we were finally texted to let us know our bay was ready and it was game on! To start playing, each player swipes their membership card and also pays. It is $40 per hour noon-close but if you can get there before noon it is only $20 per hour! Then you have a few games to choose from and as others have mentioned this form of golf is like darts. The layout of the green is in color zones and depending on the game, you have to aim for the designated target zone (the closer you are to the center the higher your points). If your ball lands in the incorrect zone then you lose points. For those who are lost with golf, each bay has its own set of clubs and there is a guide to help you choose which one to use. Oh and I forgot to mention be careful how often you pass your club in front of the sensor to release the ball as it might throw off the ball count. I found this to be very easy when you are impatient, confused, and/or a bit tipsy. Overall, this is definitely a fun place to go but be prepared to spend money. It is amazing how easy they make it for you to spend money. Membership fee, drink/food, yes they have an extensive menu from flatbread pizza/wings to gumbo and burgers/salads, oh and if you want to make a reservation, it is an extra fee. If you have some extra time, need a place to hangout (each bay fits 6 people), or just need a good stress reliever stop on by! read more

I am officially a life time member! Woo hoo!! Had a blast here. Food, drinks, and golf! What more can you ask for? The team that runs the bays - 4/5 stars. Quick to assist, friendly upon greeting and to the point. The team that serves the food - 2/5. Extremely slow, lots of order mess ups (5+ experiences) and seem to take too long with even the slightest of requests. The valet team outside - 0/5 stars. They are truly the culprit due to which my friends and I won't be ever going to this location again. Originally they'd block the first 20 or so spots for valet to make $$. In the last 6 months Every time we have gone it seems they went from 20 reserved spots to like 100 spots. They'll basically wait for other patrons to leave and quickly put cones in their spots - no matter how far they parked. So basically you show up with friends in 2-3 cars and where do you park? On the friggin' street. The experience of TopGolf has sadly been destroyed by their awesome valet staff. To make a little $$ they are losing big $$. Sad and pathetic. When you go you'll see parking spots at random with cones and no cars. Management needs to get this problem resolved.... read more
