There are several other simulation places in Indy that I would recommend over this one. I was planning on taking my son and his friend's here, cleared it with the parents and made a reservation. Literally 5 minutes later, one of the kids decides not to go and everyone else backs out as well. I called to cancel and they wouldn't refund the deposit due to it being within 24 hours but I had literally just made the reservation. I guarantee that on a beautiful Friday in May when all the schools are officially out, they will have a wait to go in. That just makes no sense to hold a deposit if you are able to fill the spot and I've never cancelled a reservation here before. I also asked if I could switch to a future date and they said no. I will never spend another dime at your establishment. My family took my husband as a father's day gift. It was unbelievably hot and both fans were pointed away from our bay 234. We asked if someone could redirect one towards us and after an HOUR our poor waiter had to inform us the fans don't move. LITERALLY SOME ONE CAME AND LOOKED AT IT AND DID NOTHING. On the way out my husband notified a desk member that they really need to fix the fans so they move to all the bays SHE LITERALLY LAUGHED AT HIM. I spent over $300 at your establishment and the ONLY decent thing was our waiter. This was the worst $300 I have ever spent. $300 for your counter girl to laugh at my husband for requesting a fan be pointed towards our bay. Also the $5 membership fee is freaking ridiculous do you think I care what my last golfing average was at your establishment? NO! That is just a scam to bring in more money, you are ripping people off! The girl who helped us was very nice and helpful when we first joined the waitlist. About an hour or so later we got a text saying our bay would be ready in 15 minutes, but we had the option to extend it, so we did for 30 minutes because we needed more time. We rushed to get there, only to be told by an extremely rude employee that it would be another hour. This contradicted the text we received. Not only did we waste time, but also gas, rushing over for nothing. I understand wait times vary, but the lack of communication and rude service made the situation worse. First time to Top Golf and was very impressed. We had a large family outing. Top Golf makes a great place for family fun and relaxing. I was impressed with the team here. They provided us with a host to get us going and a very friendly waitress. The host was very thorough at explaining the process to us first timers. The waitress was right on top of things. We played for about one hour which was enough for people that golf next to never. This was even good for grade school kids and seniors that never golf. I spent the afternoon here with a few friends and parents. 6 of us in total which was a good group to get through 2 games during our time in the bay. You reserve bays ahead of time or risk a waiting game upon arrival especially on a weekend when it's busy. I believe they come in 2 hour timeslots. I am NOT a golfer, however we did have golfers in the group. You are able to bring your own clubs if you'd like or borrow the generic ones provided. As a group you pick which games you would like to play. The first we did was where you try and get the ball into any of the circles around the golf area, and each one is worth points. As a non golfer I came in dead last here! The second game we picked was angry birds- which is exactly like the original phone game we all played in 2009. Through the magic of the universe I got 1st place! Which means anyone has a chance with these games! We ordered beer but no food, service was attentive. The wait can be a bit long depending on the time of day so be prepared for a wait, but they will text you when your bay is almost ready, so you're able to leave and stay nearby if you'd like. We've always had a great experience at the Fishers location - friendly service and a clean facility. I frequent Topgolf as it is such a great spot for friend and family gatherings as each bay can accommodate up to 6 people. I had never even swung a golf club before my first time at Topgolf and still found myself enjoying my time and have been back multiple times since. They have many different types of games that can be played that help to mix up play time and accommodate the playing level of all people. Now onto the even more important part, the food. I have tried many dishes here and have been pleasantly surprised by them all. I recently tried the garlic parmesan wings and loved the flavor they had as they did not have an overwhelming garlic taste to them. You also can't go wrong with their tacos, nachos, or honestly any of the appetizers they have. A big plus recently is that if you use their app, you are now able to join the waitlist on it. This review is only for three stars simply for one reason and one reason only which is despite trying to pre-plan the visit the website as well as the live people that I talk to on several different days and several different people I could not make any kind of reservation for parties of eight or less or six or less. Further after playing by the rules and coming in waiting in line to place my name on a waiting list receiving text messages responding to text messages for wait time and then arrival time and then waiting for the actual golf bay in total waited well over 62 minutes from start to finish of confirming a text and arrival. The food choices sound really fun they look great when they show up and they were pretty good too. Alcohol selection is decent as well. Our service that night was very helpful and friendly. Parking even at this location is such a challenge on a good weathered Saturday as we parked at the absolute furthest place because we were not going to drive around in circles waiting for a closer spot. I am not sure how long this location has been here however there is definitely wear and tear as the restrooms definitely need more attention especially during Covid and our golf bay furniture such as the couches have some permanent stains on them that are a little disturbing. I've been wanting to visit top golf for along time now and I can say it did not disappoint. The establishment was clean and up to date and the food and music gave nothing but good vibes! We went in February and it was chilly, but don't worry the outside has heating! The bartender was nice but we felt like we were pressured by our server to buy food. We came to golf, not to eat. Our server kept visiting our area asking if we wanted to eat, we felt so bad we just gave in. When we got our food our server didn't come back to check up on us and refill our drinks which made me upset since I didn't really want food in the first place. This Topgolf isn't as decked out as some, there is no air/ arch tracking of the ball, but you can still play the classic games to simply aim for the targets. The food is great, the nachos had an interesting twist with their presentation. The donut holes are a must try, they come with three different flavors of injectable syrups. We couldn't make reservations on line for the next day so we just drove up to the place. Arrived about 11:30 and parking lot was very full. Walked in and right up to the counter and registered for a spot. They texted me when it was ready, about 1 1/2 hour which we used to eat lunch. Game play was easy and fun, we extended our time! Some people were playing barefoot and the breeze was heavenly. I recommend the top level. Great staff helps answer wuestions and provide drinks. It was all so casual and fun. I thought it would be a lot more expensive, but really very comparable to a par 3 course. They have half price Tuesdays so we took advantage of this bargain and spent twice as much time as we would have any other day, including some drinks and food. This is the perfect place for the first time. We went on Sunday around dinner time. We wait about an hour and a half which wasn't that long. I recommend getting the top floor you hit so much better. We were hungry so we went into the restaurant area. We have to wait such a long time to have somebody come by our table. The customer service in the food area wasn't that great. It was hard to get his attention. But the food was really good it was a lot for one person. I couldn't finish up! The drink that we got I don't like I think it was Long Island it could be a mistake. one thing is the text message whenever your game is ready. we get a little confused I wish it was more easier and understanding. We decided to do this as a family outing. My SIL made a reservation in advance for a weekday afternoon. We only needed one bay so that was all pretty easy to facilitate, even though the place is clearly very popular. My husband and I arrived first and tried to check in. We were asked if my SIL was getting the messages they were sending; I explained she was driving and would be there in just a few minutes. The guy at the counter, who was friendly, kept asking if she was getting the messages and if there was someone else in the car who could respond to the messages. We explained several times she was in a car with a bunch of kids and wouldn't be able to answer. He asked me to call her(??) so I did and she acknowledged that she had a call from an unknown number she'd ignored and, yes, there were text notifications. I completely understand that they want things to run smoothly and in an ideal world, we all would have arrived together and on time, but asking me to call someone who I *just* told you was driving a bunch of kids was a weird boundary crossing. Anyway, she got there and we were taken to our bay. From there, everything was great. The tutorial on how to use everything and the different games available to us was easy to understand and he was engaging. He reviewed the different game options available to us. We picked Top Golf because it seemed the most kid-friendly but the adults seemed interested in some of the others for a future adventure that were more distance-based or target-based. Our server was great. She had a fun sense of humor and seemed to always be nearby when we needed her without being intrusive. A manager also stopped by to introduce herself. With the covid delta variant so common, why are they making people shout? To spread the virus more? I didn't understand why every person had to give their phone number without viewing a security, IT or privacy policy. No wonder the hubs gets so many spam calls and I don't. In addition, by entering their property, you consent to your photo/video/likeness being used in promos and advertising. The best golfer in our group was "locked out" and unable to contribute to his own account, so started golfing under other people. It stands to reason the best golfer would hit the most, so what was the issue? The chicken sandwich looked really good, but I was the poor soul that ordered the nachos that sat under the heat lamp for a long time, so the chips were over cooked and the chicken was dry. I wouldn't order those again. We were given three sets of silverware for six people. I asked for napkins and the waitress brought napkins, not silverware rolled inside napkins like the other three, so we had to share silverware to cut the chicken sandwiches and I had to take someone's fork to put the guacamole on the nachos.
