Top Golf is fun. That's the bottom line. If you want to get a small to medium size crew of people and simply have a good time, you should add Top Golf to your menu of activities. The greatest thing about Top Golf, in my humble opinion, is that it is so accessible for people who don't golf. I visited before I took up the game of golf, and I've been back several times since I became a scratch (nope, scratch that!) double-par golfer (LOL) and I've had fun every time I've been. And even though I've improved my golf swing, a friend or family member (my sister, Stacy, I'm talking to you!) would crush me at times on the score board with absolutely zero golf experience. Of course, this depends on the game you choose. There are several games with various rules that can either widen or narrow the experience gap. My favorite is the original Top Golf game where you aim for the colored circles. Other games, like Block Party (or maybe "bloc" party) give points for hitting it literally anywhere. I had my best shot of the day to the back net, and scored a fraction of the points an opponent scored for hitting it short and letting it roll. Oh well, what can you do?! The food is pretty good here. And they offer a full bar because what's golf without a strong drink to calm your nerves! I've had the flat bread pizza. Actually, after we finished our round, we went to the restaurant/bar and watched IU smack Oregon so hard it looked like DeChambeau on a Par 5 (mashed potatoes!). Oregon wished they had a mulligan, for sure! I digress. At the bar, I ordered the donut holes and the hot honey pepperoni flatbread pizza. That hot honey was great! The donut holes are good and come with two syringes filled with chocolate or Bavarian cream. There is also a raspberry option, and you can get all three for an extra charge. They give you a lot of little donut balls! Service is pretty good at Top Golf. You can tell they are busy, but the servers do a great job to make it to all the bays. And even when the bar was hopping during the game, our guy kept checking in regularly. The atmosphere is comfortable and chill. They know you are there to relax and unwind and maybe take out a little stress relief on their tiny, dimpled balls. The staff gets you checked in early, answers any questions you may have and will even teach you how to use the ceiling heaters (ours did!). Yes, they have heaters! Each bay has three large heaters in the ceiling you can control independently, so even in the winter, you can swing away. Just no Happy Gilmore approaches! Have fun out there! read more

Top Golf is my FAVORITE spot for a fun night out in Fishers! It is a place that truly has everything: games, music, food, and great vibes. I treated 6 of my friends to a girls night out at Top Golf, and we couldn't have had a more fun time! We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation time, per the website's instructions, and we were escorted to our bay right away. We had a group of 7, and since the limit is 6 per bay, we reserved 2 bays and split up with 3 in 1 bay and 4 in the other. Apparently, it is difficult to ensure that bigger groups can get bays next to each other, so I did have to pay a fee of around $40 to reserve adjacent bays. Another "surprise" expense of the Top Golf experience is the $5 "lifetime membership" fee per person the first time they go to Top Golf, which is a little annoying, but after you pay once, you can just put your phone number in and play without a fee every other time. Speaking of the bays, they are designed to look like a "patio" of sorts with a sectional couch, coffee table, TV, and bar/countertop. It is a great layout with a variety of seating options that is comfortable for everyone in the group. Every bay is covered, which makes Top Golf a great activity for any weather. I love sitting on the second or third floors, but a "hidden gem" on the first floor are the foosball and pool tables that are perfect for entertaining yourself when you're waiting for your turn to golf. We loved playing all the themed games, our favorite being "block party" because you can score on every hit, no matter where your ball lands! We also enjoyed "Angry Birds," which was an innovative take on the video game. Really, any game can be fun if you're with your friends! Our server was Kailyn, and she was absolutely excellent. She was very welcoming and helpful, she made sure we had everything we needed, from refills to extra plates. The food at Top Golf certainly exceeded my expectations! I thought it would be cheap sports bar-esque bites, but the Mac n cheese bites, pretzels, and chicken strips were restaurant quality. I would actually consider coming to Top Golf just for the food! I went here for a work team building last week and it was super fun. It was very busy on a late Friday morning/afternoon, but we never felt like we had to wait long for anything. We had 2 staff helping us- Miles + a trainee. They were both very friendly, fun, helpful, you name it! They made sure to keep drinks refilled, see if we needed more snacks, and removed empty plates and cups from the tables often. Everyone also really loved their food. I had some of the lemon pepper wings that was a table appetizer on our lane, but I ordered the nachos with steak and added avocado for my meal. They were very flavorful and I liked that they were sort of puffed tortilla chips, but I wish the avocado slices had been a little more ripe (they got dropped off after I took a picture, so I am not talking about the scoop of guacamole). Strange service quarks: 1. Every time I come here they have some other convoluted pricing system and it always ends up screwing us up. They have deals but I somehow always "just missed it". And today I brought my son's friend and they said I have to pay $5 to make him a member for life but I have no option not to do that because I have to sign that waiver which requires a membership. 2. Every three minutes someone asks if I want to buy more food and drink. I almost think they should just require a minimum service charge if they are going to hound me to order something. 3. We visited this Topgolf location for the first time on 3/5/23. After checking in, we headed out to our bay and began to get settled it. It was a bit windy, so we were grateful for the adjustable heat lamps stationed above the seating area. The offer a couple of different seating arrangements and our bay had an L-shaped sofa with a coffee table. Other areas had tall, bar-height tables. If/when we return, I think I would prefer the bar-height seating. The sofa set-up wasn't very convenient for eating, especially when the other players are rotating in and out of the seating area. My fiance and I ordered a few adult beverages! I enjoyed the Tropical Fruit Mai Tai ($10). It was fruity, but you could still tell there was alcohol in it without either component being too overpowering. My honey had a Bud Light in the bottle ($6) and a margarita ($12). Our daughters ordered sweet tea and for some reason, one of them received what she ordered and the other received (twice) what tasted like water with brown coloring. She eventually ordered a soda instead. One of the girls ordered wings (and cleaned her plate completely) and the other got the chicken strips basket. I had visited a Topgolf location in Houston, TX previously and really enjoyed the Steak Tres Tacos, so I went with that again. I was surprised at the consistency in quality and flavor received at both locations. They were soooo good! The girls and I also shared a Double Chocolate Skillet....but I could've sworn that I had ordered a chocolate chip cookie skillet. The double chocolate was a bit much! We each had a couple bites and left the rest. The service was good, but our Bayhost seemed reluctant to clear anything from our table. After we'd finished eating and after receiving two beverages that were not wanted, one would think that at least a few of the items would have been removed, but eventually we had to ask her to take the things away. Caroline was the sweetest person we spoke to! She was not even our hostess or waitress, but she made sure to check in on us and make sure everything was going well! The drinks are a fun and I love the orange dream drink! They have a lot of variety and also bucket options for beers, so everyone is happy. The food is always hot, which I love! I don't think I've ever been served anything below the temperature that clearly says "food came out of the oven and only waited long enough to not burn us to serve you" and that is the temperature I want. But wait there's more..... so I asked if we could get a couple of extra chairs (2) I was told that it was a fire hazard! Laughable! Fire hazard!?! There's nothing quite like this around Indy, it's such a unique concept and not only is it a fun time for non-golf players, but they have great food too! We came over Christmas weekend with family visiting from out of town and it was a great way to entertain our guests. We only had to wait about 5-10 minutes to get a bay without a reservation and it was all a really smooth process. They were great about getting us left-handed clubs too! The bays only hold up to 6 players and the cost varies depending on what time of the day you go, but for us it was only $50 so basically $10/person which is pretty affordable. I recently went here for a birthday with just a group of four. Two of us are golfers; one is a newbie (hence the visit to hit balls), and the other has not played in a long time. Coming in, the place is huge. I have been to simulation sites and Back 9, so this place is huge. We got there, added everyone to the system, paid the initial fee cards (in case you come back), and entered the system to start playing. I was not impressed with the inability just to start hitting balls. At Back 9, you just ask for a ball with the light, and it comes up. Top Golf, yeah, no. You have to be in a game to get a ball. I asked if the unit was broken and I was told that it tracks the per person ball in case you injure someone or something, they know who it is. I was like, okay. But that took some time to enter everything, and you are already paying a ton. You can do this beforehand online, but the person who booked was not a regular golfer and just thought you could hit some balls. It's annoying, but we finally got moving! We ordered drinks throughout the 2-hour window. We are now 1.5 hours in, and everyone besides myself has ordered at least two drinks. I had brought in an iced coffee. As we are sitting there, a manager comes up to ask how things are going. We thought he was coming to be kind since we had some issues in the beginning with getting into the system and figuring out how to just get a ball. He talks for 3 minutes, then states, "Outside drinks are not allowed. Do you want me to dispose of this, or do you want to take it to your car?". I am the absolute perfect rule follower. I hate to cause a scene or make anyone uncomfortable, so I was like, "please just dispose of it". There are no signs; we are almost done with our time, which is the issue. It turned me off since our waitress knew I was drinking a coffee. I felt very scolded, and at my age, no one likes that and there were many opportunities to address it in the first 1.5 hours of play. We end the evening and finish up our two hours. We are asked if we would like to extend our time, we state no. We finished, and all sat down for approximately 3-4 minutes as we were checking our dinner reservation time before leaving. While checking it, we get a rude comment about moving away from the area as they need to get others in. Why ask to extend if they are that busy? We finished a few minutes before our time was completed, so I'm unsure if it was out now. But the entire experience threw me. You are paying a lot of money, and I just did not get a good feeling or vibe. Again, this is only my experience. I know many love Top Golf and go back again and again. I will spend my time and money in the more laid-back Back 9 and enjoy myself more! We had some difficulty figuring out how to put our names in and one of their employees came over and helped us with it. There were some golf clubs available to use so we didn't have to bring ours. I have been here a number of times and it is by far one of my most favorite things to do! You are able to order food while you play and the food tastes absolutely amazing. You can host events such as Birthday parties, Work events, and so much more! At Top Golf, you have a "bay" which is a section that is just for you. Then, you hit balls from that section out into the field. The goal is to get the balls into one of the circles out on the field and depending on which on you get the ball in, you get a certain amount of points. Recommendation: I recommend getting a bay on the top floor because even if you don't hit the ball very hard, it can still add some distance. read more

There are different games that measure a couple different ways. You can play for distance or you can play for accuracy. Don't beat yourself up if you don't hit the balls far. There are different games that will allow you to shine. Practice Mode allows you to hit unlimited amount of balls and you score based on your distance. Top Golf mode is based on hitting the balls in different colors. The harder the target, the more points you get. It's lots of fun. If golf just isn't your thing, you can't go wrong with their food and drinks. Everything's been delicious so far-but my favorite go-to has to be their wings and the smokehouse flatbread. There's a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on their menu, and you can't go wrong. Tuesdays are half-price, so I think it is their busier night-just a heads up. But definitely a fun place to check out. read more

I haven't been here in a while but every time that I do go the atmosphere is very welcoming and the crowd is friendly. I don't really go to swing the clubs but the food and the bar is outstanding. I would recommend Topgolf to any and everyone.... read more

There are several other simulation places in Indy that I would recommend over this one. I was planning on taking my son and his friend's here, cleared it with the parents and made a reservation. Literally 5 minutes later, one of the kids decides not to go and everyone else backs out as well. I called to cancel and they wouldn't refund the deposit due to it being within 24 hours but I had literally just made the reservation. I guarantee that on a beautiful Friday in May when all the schools are officially out, they will have a wait to go in. That just makes no sense to hold a deposit if you are able to fill the spot and I've never cancelled a reservation here before. I also asked if I could switch to a future date and they said no. The woman I spoke with was very kind, I will say that but still refused to refund the deposit. read more
