First time at a Top Golf and had the best time. Shout out to Kelly for being extremely friendly and helpful!

Great fun for a large group! You can hate golf and still have a blast! American chain food options but all looked great.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my visit to this location. I have gone to a number of different location in Chicago and this was definitely not what I was expecting. Generally I love the environment and the food the TopGolf but this time we had terrible service, which plays a huge part in the experience over all. We had to order waters for what seemed to be 5 separate times before we got waters at the table. Our food came out before our water. Then, when it was time to leave, we got our check (after asking for it) and when we had the payment ready, we had to look for our server before he took our check and paid our bill. Granted, he was attending to a much larger party next to us, he should be able to handle all the tables he was assigned. Also, every time we were looking for him, he was with this bigger party, but didn't seem to be attending them as much as he was just "hanging out with them". One of the biggest things that irritates me when I am out is poor service. read more

I am now a fan of Golfing! Love this location much more than the over crowded one in Midtown, and the service is always superb ! I'm here all the time ! read more

Omg, can not WAIT for the location in midtown to open up. I'm not a golfer and have never even swung a golf club but had an amazing time. It's like bowling where most people can't bowl but everyone still loves to go. The venue is beautiful with lots of other entertainment including giant TVs, pool, foosball, ect. Go at night for a light show of the holes coordinated with the music. Excellent table service and fantastic food/drink choices. Great for group events. A must try in Atlanta. read more

Hands down worst experience ever.... Service was dreadful!!!! Food was cold/soggy from sitting in expo window. Had to retrieve my own drinks from bar.Told the wait was 2 1/2 hrs to play.... 4 1/2 hrs later no golf! Your 14th on list, 20 min, your 4th on list 20mim, your 9th- 20min. Just be honest with me so I can make a decision about whether to stick it out or not!!!! Poorly run poorly managed!!!!it took an hour to work with the manager to get a refund on the golf we paid for but never played!!!! read more

Awesome concept, good food, drinks are great, excellent customer service from the platinum hosts and office staff, but then there is the bay hosts. I have had 3 or 4 bay hosts who were amazing, Jasmine and TC are two of the names that I can remember. Outside of those 3 or 4, the rest are terrible. The bay hosts are killing this place. I usually stop in at least 5-6 times per week, and the bay hosts issue is starting to become annoying. I have made it a point to eat before I arrive so that I don't have to deal with them outside of refilling my diet coke, and unfortunately some of them struggle with that simple task. If they could address this issue, this place would get 5 stars across the board. I hope they fix it soon... read more

The top is a fun spot to go with your friends. I like the service and I enjoy the food. It is very crowded on the weekend so make sure you get there before it closes try the quesadillas. Amazing. You won't be let down. read more

Went here with a friend yesterday and took in the food, drinks, and golf. Typically a great combination. First, the food: walking in, my friend and I were greeted with an amazing aroma. We both thought it was the smell of hot dogs right off the grill. However, there are no hot dogs on the menu. There are mini hot dogs on the kids menu though. Overcome by the initial odor, I ordered the mini dogs and some cheese fries from the list of appetizers (for adults). My friend ordered a Cobb salad. After about 15 minutes or so, the cheese fries came out and they were pretty good - including jalapeños and different types of cheese. A nice respite from the melted velveeta a lot of other places use on their cheese fries. The hot dogs were a different story. The bread was rock hard and the dogs themselves tasted like they'd been sitting out for a while. I never send anything back, but these were just inedible. I don't know how you screw up hot dogs, but they succeeded. I ended up sticking to the cheese fries and beer. Luckily I wasn't starving. My friend also received her Cobb Salad and it basically was a mound of grilled chicken on top of lettuce, - no tomatoes, no eggs, no bacon, literally nothing but chicken and lettuce, i.e., not a Cobb Salad. Our waitress, who was very surprised and helpful thought this mess, sent this back and provided a replacement (that took another 15-20 minutes) which was more up to par. Again, the service was good, but the kitchen at Topgolf needs serious work. If you can't get the basics right I definitely won't try anything more complex. The food and drinks are also pretty pricey. Next is the golf. I have to say, I had a great time playing. Although it took about 3 hours to get a bay, it's incredibly fun to play here. Especially at night when everything is lit up beautifully. The atmosphere is fun and there is great service if you want to drink (or risk eating) and play. You can also play with your own clubs or use the clubs that are available at each bay. The prices to play are also reasonable at $45 per hour. I'm looking forward to when they open their new midtown location which will be very close to my home. Driving up to Alpharetta is not appealing to me as a faithful ITP'er. In conclusion, I'm giving this place 4 stars as I mainly went for the golf and drinks. The food needs a lot of work, but good food was not high on my list when I went. read more

Our family has a lot of birthdays in March so we usually are looking for a place for 9 of us to get together. I am not a golfer but we thought we'd try out Top Golf. I have had several invitations to join several groups of people at Top Golf but I am not a golfer so I would pass. I had a blast at Top Golf! It's like playing darts but with golf balls and multiple targets. I could hit a terrible shot but the ball might go to different target and you get a lot of points! And surprise of all surprises, the food was really very good. The appetizers were fantastic and the entrees were great, too! Everyone had a wonderful time and especially the non-golfers! I look forward to trying it again! read more

I love this place, I had a great time with friends! If you're with a group and looking for something different and fun to do, this is a great activity. The drinks were great as well. read more

It is a little high to play, but food and drink prices are fair. It is a super fun atmosphere where you are up high hitting balls. It doesn't matter how experienced you are or not it is a lot of fun. The golf clubs are provided and the service is fast. I had the beer cheese dip and they have so many extra tortilla chips. Fans help keep cool but I don't think you would want to be here when extremely hot or cold. Being up high gives a great angle. There are elevators if you need it. We had a variety of skill levels and all had fun. We will definitely be back read more

So I've never played golf in my life except the 3 times in the past 2 weeks I've gone here. I have to say I am pretty impressed. Although I've never watched golf, played golf, liked golf in any way....this place is pretty fun! It's simple kind of like bowling but golf style. The food isn't bad either. I love the asian wings, the classic burger, and the club. It's a great place to come with family or friends. Although the price isn't cheap I think it's worth the experience and fun! The customer service is awesome, everyone seems happy to be there and happy to work there and very professional. It's got a very fancy fun vibe to the place and I've enjoyed my time there so far every single time! One thing though, I'd rather get a bay with couches instead of the high-rise table and chairs...the couches are just more comfortable and relaxing. Also, if you want the full "cool" experience of the place, I would recommend being on the second or third floor, I tried the first floor today and it just felt a little bit dull...can't really explain...but I would recommend the 3rd floor for your first experience. read more

The place was fun and a great atmosphere. However, our server, Monique P, was extremely rude. She turned down my friends real id and refused to sell my other friend a pitcher of beer. When we were trying to have a conversation with her about the rules, she begins yelling at us and clapping in our faces. She was talking down to us like we were children. After this all happened, she goes to other customers IN FRONT OF US talking bad about us. All we were doing was trying to understand why our friend who's id they accepted couldn't buy a pitcher. I am very disappointed in her unprofessional manner. No server should treat PAYING CUSTOMERS like that. I am going to make sure all of my friends know not to go to topgolf anymore due to their unprofessional staff. read more

Golf is fun. Food is horrible. Avoid the wings at all cost.

The facility can't handle large crowds. Reservations and time limits would alleviate a 3-hour wait. The food is tasty, but the service is below par. They could care less. read more

This place was a blast! We met family from another part of Atlanta and had a great time. Several of our group are avid golfers, and a couple of us NEVER golf. Best Place Ever!!! Spent my B-Day here, spent NYE here, its awesome!!!

First time I visit such an establishment and was expecting a good time based on friends' comment. We arrived at about 6:00PM, so we opted to go to the dining area to wait the projected three hours. I ordered a bucket of beer from the bar just to drink something while we waited for our "server." 7:00PM; still no server. I had to complain to a server to get them to attend us which should never be the case. Managers passed by and never cared. MAYBE RACISM? I hate to put it in those terms but every other table seemed to have a server in a timely manner, why not us? We were not white but still. We ordered some sliders of different variations which took a long time and the ranch side was a mediocre portion at best. The food was already expensive and to not have enough dressing was unacceptable. 9:00PM After I whined to the server our service was okay; I understood the wait times since it was pretty packed inside. 9:30PM I ordered a Tipsy Palmer, a very simple drink. 10:00PM (probably later) I finally receive the drink, this is unacceptable since it was a very simple drink which had very little alcohol and was watered-down when it arrived. Upon mixing it more to verify the alcohol content I noticed it was severely skimped with the alcohol. After such a wait for a drink I cannot understand how they served me this. 11:00PMish We finally get our bay after five hours after being told it would take about three. The service was better at the bay for sure. Would not go there again. EVER. read more

TopGolf Alpharetta: Extensive Review Yegor Scheff yegorscheff@gmail.com Member July 1, 2014-Present First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge that this review is based off of my own observations, experience, and from socializing with guests and associates here at TopGolf Alpharetta since the summer of 2014. TopGolf is a phenomenal social entertainment venue, however, like any other business out in the world, there are flaws that are easy to spot through a few minutes of observation. I will separate all of my points and critiques into easy and identifiable sections for reference. Guest Satisfaction You will never be referred to as a "customer", but rather as a guest, and all for the right reasons. As a guest, you will be served by "Associates" and not employees. TopGolf makes a clear effort to emphasize that no matter the hierarchy, everyone works as a team to achieve the same goal, which is to meat the wants and needs of the current guest and the guest to come. So yes, you will see managers doing a Busser's or a Bay Host's job if they are not available for you at that exact moment. This is also where the flaw comes in. Quite often, I see hosts and bussers socializing with themselves rather than attending to a guest in need. This has been the case with not only myself, but with fellow guests. This is a common complaint you will find on the internet, and quite frankly, it is as accurate as it can be. Likewise, it is very easy to identify associates who are only there for a paycheck rather than the pleasure to serve the guest, which is a whole recruiting issue I will get into later on in the review. Food and Beverage On an average day, the food in this venue is phenomenal. The food you are offered is more of a dine-in restaurant type, cooked by real time chefs. The BBQ sliders may be sweet sometimes, but the slaw usually balances the flavor out. The flatbread may be crusty sometimes, but still amazing in the end. There isn't much I can say about beverage because I only order sweet tea here. From what I have gathered from others, the bar is quite good. Recruitment Process This one confuses me. I have applied to TopGolf Alpharetta two times. The idea of the recruiting event is a brilliant idea, however, there are a few key flaws. When you register for a recruiting event online, what you are applying for is very vague. For example, you might want to apply for Front of House. At TopGolf, there are about seven positions that fall under this category, but they will not let you know which ones they are specifically looking for. The first time I went, I applied for three positions, and was rejected because, "Positions for what you applied for are not available." Essentially, they wasted three hours of my time knowing that I wasn't going to get the job no matter how well I did at the event. I made sure managers were aware with my frustration with this. I pretty much told them that I'd rather be told someone else was a better fit for the job rather than be told no positions were available. The second time, someone was picked over me because they were a better fit. This event is held to have the managers get a glimpse of your personality and how well you work with others. However, at the end of the day, they are looking for who is more experienced. Which is why you might find associates who are there for a paycheck rather than the pleasure of serving the guests. If you are given a no, they claim that they want you to come back to an another recruiting event but won't give you any feedback on what you need to improve on. Last Key Points If you are one of those players who golfs at the venue several times a week, consider going Platinum. There are perks that come with being Platinum and is significantly cheaper than paying by the hour. As a Platinum, you get free Callaway rentals, jump on the waitlist if there is one, the generous Platinum hours where you get to play for free with anyone you want to bring with you as long as you are the host of the bay. You also get to park in the Platinum section if you want to feel special. Parking is a hassle only during busy times, Friday and Saturday nights. OVERALL, THIS IS AN AMAZING VENUE, BUT CAN USE SOME IMPROVEMENTS. I WOULD GIVE IT 9 OUT OF 10. If you wish to get more in depth details of the experience you might get at TopGolf Alpharetta, feel free to email me. read more

STAND CLEAR of their bar tender Ky. He scams girls out of their money. He clearly told us that he was giving us a shot on the house for a birthday but secretly added it on our friend's tab. When we discussed it towards the end when reviewing the tab, he approached us and said he never said that and that they don't allow free drinks. He said we must have misunderstood him. We told him to never do that to any girls again and he just smiled at us as he walked away. So stay away from this Top Golf location because they're scammy and hire unprofessional employees. Go to the Atlanta location, they deserve your business. read more

If you want a great time, with a nice selection of wine, better than a typical bar food and outstanding customer service, this place is on that list. You don't need to be a golfer to enjoy your time at Topgolf. It is a great "bonding place" for friends and corporations. Check it out. read more

I went to top golf the other day with my friends and was treated very poorly. We got our text that we were ready to go to the bay and I was stopped by someone telling me that I wasn't permitted to pass unless I had a mask on. I ask him if I was forced to wear a mask (obviously some frustration in my voice probably) and he said yes. Then I said well will you provide me with one. He said we don't provide masks. I then realized I was being discriminated against. I pointed to my two friends who had already been given a mask by the lady at the front desk a few minutes earlier. and said just that. With which he responded. Well, then we are out of masks to give out. I responded "thanks for the discrimination" and I went outside and found a mask out of the trash can to wear and came back inside. Another employee that witnessed the whole thing said we appreciate it. and I responded with I didn't appreciate it. Once we left I saw a large pile of masks at the front desk... read more

Very cool place!!! Great for parties and company outings. We went for a company event. You have to pay $5 for a card which gets you in. At your reserved table you then can order drinks/food and swipe the game cards to play. You can play regular where you hit and are scored on distance and holes you hit. Or play games where the computer tells you which color hole to hit each time for various targets. The concept is cool, atmosphere is great. They have a nice bar area, patio or table you are sitting at is shaded and cooler with fans. It's a little pricy but overall, was very impressed and will come back! Note: Parking at this location is horrendous!!!!! They need to fix that quick! This place and this idea could be so amazing!!! What a great concept, but totally poor execution!!!!!!! The actually game was a great time but the service in the restaurant slash bar area was horrible!!!! I do realize that it was the holiday and that it was extremely busy, but shouldn't have they realized that and staffed accordingly. I work in the restaurant industry and realize that sometimes you get overran, but this was ridiculous. Waited 30 minutes to get greated in at our table last night while waiting for our bay to come open. Then someone who was friendly came and took our order and promised a waiter would come by. That NEVER happened. Our food did arrive in a timely manner considering how busy it was. Maybe 35 minutes. But when it came we still we were without drinks. Our drinks were sitting on the bar mat the whole time getting watered down. We were finally able to flag a manager down. He had them remake our drinks. Those came out real fast. He promised a water would come by. No waiter came by until they brought us a bill. He said he would get a few things comped or a discount. That never happened. What kind of manger wouldn't have checked back with us to see if we were ok. He was hanging out in the bar area cutting it up with the waiters. By this time it was pretty much dead in the bar area!!! I just don't get it. Then on to golf. The facility is great!!! The golfing is so much fun. But aren't we supposed to have a bay host within the first hour. I just don't get it. There was probably 75 employees working last night. You could have sold so much more food and alcohol if you just staffed correctly. Our bay host finally came over an hour into golfing. Anyways I will definitely attempt this again. Just not during peak time at this location. This place could be so good!!!! It's a shame. read more
