It was an unexpected major expense, but the septic tanks (2 not 1) needed to be pumped as they hadn't been pumped in decades. At first, my dad and I were skeptical and thought it was a simple drain issue, but after they located and dug up the two septic tanks, we discovered that they were indeed full. The guys did also check the drain pipes (my dad insisted) but they were clear except the one drain pipe coming from the bathroom, which was corroded and had collapsed. I very highly recommend this company…read more Our primary septic tank was overflowing and not draining to the secondary. We needed a pump out and a diagnosis of the problem. The company is family owned and it shows. Father and son team showed up. They were very good about responding right away. They actually called to say they could come early if that was alright (oh yes it was!). They were good about getting the hoses to the tank and making sure they didn't run them over any plants. They flushed clear water through to make sure they didn't dump sewage on our sidewalk. Pleasant and unfailingly polite. No attempts to nickel and dime us with upcharges. Our filter was clogged (which was the root of all our problems) and they diagnosed it right away and cleaned it for no extra charge. A month ago another company pumped our tank and never checked this very simple thing.
