Don't use this company. Two separate women were rude on the phone. They'll tell you their crews came out when they clearly didn't and try to charge you for it. They also don't communicate fees clearly. They tell you the first mow is just an hourly rate but tack on lots of fees. HIGHLY don't recommend. read more

We hired them to help with cleanup. Scheduling was a problem; they would not return calls until we had called them multiple times. Persistent excuse makers - "Well, we aren't in the office on the weekend." (We had first contacted them on a Tuesday - I guess their weekend starts on Wednesday?) The good news - they did eventually show up after multiple reminders. And they did a good job. Thanks, awesome workers! The big problem, however, was payment. We had given them a credit card to run, and just assumed that they had run it without problems. 6 weeks later, we get a phone call asking why we had never paid. No explanation that they tried to run it and it didn't work; just "why haven't you paid us?" We tried to explain that we thought we had, and never received notice to the contrary. They cut us off constantly in mid sentence, talked over us, told us lies about their attempts to call. (I confirmed with my phone provider; we had received no calls from them before they went on the offensive.) All I could find was one email from them that got misdirected to my spam folder. That's it. At one point, their employee threatens to "send the owner out to our house." I offered to meet him at the local police station. She backs down. But I had to shout their employee down before she would answer one of my questions. I've never needed to do that. Ever. Eventually, we get their story: they *claim* that they tried to run our card weeks ago, and that the number came up as invalid for some inexplicable reason. (We use that card all the time, so I was suspicious.) I asked them to run it again. No dice. At this point, I don't trust them. So I used their Paypal option with the credit card they claimed wouldn't work. It worked. Why they didn't simply ask me to try the transaction myself online is beyond me. I suspect that they either never ran our card, or (more likely) that once a glitch came up, they kept quiet about it so they could impose a late fee. I didn't pay their late fee. Just got my zero balance. So thanks for the lawn clean up. I hope you pay your excellent lawn crews well - they're fabulous. But no, I will not be requiring your services again, because I don't have time to deal with your office. read more

This man and his company scammed us out of thousands. We had a contract for him to do landscaping for our front yard last summer, and he was incredibly rude and DID NOT FINISH THE JOB. He upcharged us for plants in our front yard, and when confronted about it, he threatened to steal our plants. He then demanded $10,000 to finish our yard, took the money, and never finished. I was horrified to see what seemed like a legit company purchasing alcohol at the gas station, before arriving to do my trees. I was overcharged for pathetic work. When they pulled up, their truck reeked of marijuana. They were very, very slows some of them standing around, eating my time and money, conversing about drugs at my home. They left trash in my yard. To top it off, the cuts they made have begun to kill my trees, now they want to come back and remove them for a ridiculous price. I wish I could give these people 0 stars. I have never encountered a more unorganized and unprofessional company in my life. They performed services that were never requested, they did a poor job mowing (one occasion in particular being the day after a huge rainstorm, so obviously the grass was not cut uniformly) and it is almost impossible to reach anyone through phone or email. I left several voicemails before receiving a call back and when I finally got someone on the phone I requested to cancel my services after first confirming that my account was fully paid and up to date. I was told that my account would be canceled and I even sent a follow up email just recapping the conversation that I had with them. As you can probably guess, not even one week later I come home to find that they came out again! I immediately tried to call them and have left 3 voice mails now with no response and to top it all off, I just received an Invoice today from these jokers. My back yard looks great! The guys got it all done quickly and everything looks clean and tailored. Having your trees trimmed is one of the best things you can do to update the look of your home and yard. I wish I had read Yelp reviews first! I called Top to Bottom Lawn and Tree Service early on April 6th to cut tree limbs off my property line that were dropping blooms and dead leaves in my flower pots and all over my patio and of course had to leave voice mail. I was called back mid-day. I told the female what I needed and she said well if you don't have to have an estimate we have a 2 to 3 day turnaround. I told her I didn't need an estimate and she said okay. I waited around for 3 days and called back to give then my cell phone number because I had other things to do. I called her back on Friday and told her to cancel my order and she said well they have been behind and I informed her she didn't tell me they were behind when I called her on Monday and that she said he would 2 to 3 days. She said well he was going to call you today. He called in the afternoon and said it would he be Monday, but that it was supposed to rain. He then said Monday or Tuesday which there was also a chance for rain on Tuesday. It did not rain on Tuesday so there was absolutely no excuse to not show up. It is now the 15th and have not received a call from them. Of course, I do not want their service now as they both are liars which was also stated in a previous review. They certainly show no courtesy to their customers and I will certainly warn all my friends not to every use these liars - believe me by word of mouth can go a long way and not a dependable business. We are very unhappy with the service we received. We asked them to plant flowers the last of March which were finally done the first week of June. They don't answer their phone and when they do call back it is never in a timely manner. The average was three days. The final straw was when they came on a Wednesday when their scheduled day was Friday. Because they came on the wrong day, our service to remove the dog poop hadn't come. Their day is Thursday. Top To Bottom tried to charge us $30.00 which we are refusing to pay. read more

I also wish I could give these people 0 stars. When I started with Top to bottom a couple years ago I called to set them up to come out and they took like 6 weeks to finally show up. They said they'd be out there such and such day and never came, when I called they always had some excuse. They finally came out and honestly did a good job. They came once per month and fertilized my lawn, but when anything changes they just don't use their brain. They are completely unorganized. we moved in December and then we tried to get them to come to our new house in March they said they would come and never came. They kept giving excuses for 2 months and then they said we owed them money for the past months of no payment. They even sent us letters and reported us to a credit agency. When I called them about it they said it was because of a payment back in October that wasn't paid. I thought, maybe I forgot to pay it so I checked my bank account and it showed it was paid. Then I called them and they said that they had come out to my new house on May 6th and that was what the bill was for. First, you can look at my yard and tell that they didn't. Second, Myself, My wife and 3 home schooled kids were here all day for a birthday and never saw them. 3rd, they cant get their story straight. Unfortunately I've been a client of this co. for 3 years. They've charged me for services performed that I NEVER ASKED FOR (they said they came & trimmed my bushes 2 days after my husband had done it himself!), and seemed to show up to mow 'when it was convenient for them,' even when the grass is wet! What a joke! The mowing teams use those riding mowers that dig huge chunks out of your grass, & then when u call to complain it's a big inconvenience for them to come out. I can't help that their mowers can't do their jobs. Chad is very rude & his wife Sheree takes the cake...she acts like she has much better things to do than talk to you when you have a concern. We were charged $16 for them to come out & do some touch ups on some spots they missed that didn't even require a mower & then they tried to say it was due to the type of grass we have. Give me a break!!! We got the $16 credited to our account yesterday, then today the mowers show up without any notice & mowed! Our back gate was locked so I'm not sure how they got back there, but in our opinion it was trespassing as we didn't know they were coming & didn't authorize the mow. So that's how they decided to recoup their $16.00 that they credited to our acct on 6/3 plus get an additional $14.00 from us...Chad is a sneaky & underhanded businessman. I wouldn't trust him with anything. I thought things would change & that's why I stayed w/them for so long...but no more.
