If you're inside Marketplace Mall and craving good comfort food, this spot is a must. The food is simple, flavorful, and hits the spot ! Their wings are a standout , lots of different flavors to choose from and cooked just right. The sides don't disappoint either: mac and cheese, collards, fries, potato salad -- all classic comfort sides done well. I also tried the fried fish, and it was crispy, seasoned, and fresh. There's a small seating area out front, but this place is definitely more of a takeout spot, which honestly works because the food travels well. Perfect for grabbing something quick for lunchorndinnder. Overall, good food, good portions, and solid comfort flavors. Tried them out a second time a year later, and I'm happy to say they still deserve all 5 stars! They are family owned and operated, and they are both courteous and patient with us taking time to figure out how much of everything we wanted to order! This time around they had the purple kool aid! The food quality is just as good or even better than I remembered! They have some tables to sit at to dine in at the mall, but the ambiance would be far better to take away somewhere for a picnic! Marketplace mall may be a sleepy ghost town but it seems to be the jump pad for excellence in our area, first churning out Natabelles bakery (also just go) and now it is home to top tier eatery, a FANTASTIC little soul food hookup. My goodness are they doing it right- top tier is the appropriate name for them. Get the tenders- enormous and in your choice of a huge array of sauces. We got the Cajun honey butter and it was perfection. We had the Mac and cheese (perfection) as our side and got their much acclaimed strawberry lemonade which was also.. top tier. Their Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were not the standouts to me- too small and minimally filled, lacking pepper and onion flavor which would've make it more Philly cheesesteak to me. The service was very quick. We ordered the fried fish with mac and cheese, sweet chili wings, Cajun honey butter wings, and fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned. The fish was delicious, the wings were saucy and satisfying, and the mac and cheese delivered on comfort. Found this place after they were recognized as one of the top restaurants in Winston Salem and they definitely lived up to the hype. I got the 6 piece wing platter and I highly recommend the lemon pepper wet but you can't go wrong with any flavor. Also ordered the catfish bites and they were super good. Also the Mac and cheese is probably one of the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that the 6 piece wing platter which comes with 2 sides and a drink came out to $20 which is crazy but I nonetheless still delicious. read more

Top Tier Eatery debuted breakfast this week on door dash. The bagel is huge and comes with tons of chopped steak, sliced onions, scrambled eggs and cheese. It was so good & filling. I only wished the bagel was toasted. And those grits...baby they were creamy & well seasoned. The cheese was the cherry on the top. In their haste to provide prompt service, my hash brown was left off but they immediately offered to make it right. Give them a try & let me know what you think. read more

Tried this place a few months ago. The staff was very professional. We did have to wait a bit because we were told they ran out of chicken wings, but again the staff did inform us on the wait for them so we understood. I ordered wings for myself and husband, 6 each & my daughter ordered the tenders. Well, our order was finally ready, now granted we did not open our food until we got home, which was our fault. Once I opened our separate orders, I only had 3 whole wings. I'm thinking where's the other 3? They were whole wings which was not stated on the menu that we saw. On top of that they were so small, which did not fill my husband up. Now the Mac & cheese we ordered was good, and my daughter said her food was good. We were just rubbed the wrong way when it came to our wings that we were shorted on. The flavor was good, but they were too greasy like they were rushed or something. read more

The staff are very friendly but I went for the second time today for the Rasta Pasta and wings based off the photo the owner had posted on their facebook and mine left so much to be desired. Over sauced over cooked pasta that was just hot. No actual flavor not anything but sauce and pasta. I got the dry lemon pepper wings, they were fresh and hot, however, they were so salty I could not eat them. $16 I literally had to throw away. read more
