They initially sanded down the gel and wrapped my nails in acetone with foil, which is standard. But after I sat there for about 45 minutes, the gel still wasn't coming off easily. Instead of handling it properly, the technician became visibly frustrated and started using a cuticle cutter to peel layers of my actual nail off. I said "ouch" multiple times, it was painful and clearly not being done carefully. When I left, my nails were damaged and actually bleeding. This was not just poor technique, it just felt careless. On top of that, the overall experience was cold and unwelcoming. No one greeted me when I walked in, and there was little to no communication the entire time. I've since had to buy a medical-grade nail treatment just to try to repair the damage. I do not recommend this place. What should have been a simple service turned into a painful and unnecessary experience.

They were able to fit us in the same day, but only for pedicures. Then when we got there they were able to do both manis and pedis, which was very much appreciated by us. The spa is so serene and the staff were wonderful--they were very gentle in their treatments, which is a change from salons where you feel like you're being rushed to relax and then move on. They do not have massage chairs, but you don't miss them as the whole experience is relaxing. There are two pedicure and manicure spots in a separate room, so you feel like you're in your own private spa.
