We said its our first time there and asked about bread types and it was met with "its on the paper" so we selected Hoagie Bread. She then said not available and we adked what some rolls were on her counter. Not for sale. Wow. My wife asked if the onions were white or red and was met with "white only" in a rude tone. Sandwiches were inexpensive at about $7.50 each but single slices of meat, cheese, lettuce, i guess the cost makes sense. I dont like writing bad reviews of mom & pop type establishments but i should have known when there were no reviews for years. I'd rather support some place like this over a big chain but not this one. Real let down.

The experience, while basically carbon-copied and stamped out of the great Maverik assembly line, is generally clean bathrooms, usually pretty spacious parking, solid selection of snacks and bottled drinks, strong fountain selection, and at least passable, if overpriced, hot foods, and that is exactly what we have here.

When I went up to pay, Makinze was like "hang on one second", she ran over to their kitchen area and grabbed a cinnamon roll foil container that has a plastic lid. She helped me poor the nacho cheese and toppings into the foil container. She said "I could just see that spilling all over your car". It meant SO much to me that she cared about me not having a mess in my car and it meant A LOT to me that she also went out of her way to grab me a different container that had a lid. We have never waited more than 15 minutes for a prescription when walking in from the doctor. They go above and beyond to save us money. By checking for coupons and best deals with our insurance.
