I wasn't crying or anything, but the cashier looked at me and could sense something wrong...and asked. I shared briefly about saying goodbye to a friend at her funeral. Cut to the chase, he gave me a bouquet of flowers and a hug... wishing me a better day, and that he knew how I felt. Yes, I was crying at that, but SO grateful at this unexpected kindness.
