Strange drive-thru cheat…read more.. We were driving by this place and saw they were snowing in the drive-through so we decided to get some large drinks and fries for the road. When we pulled up to the drive-through, ordered our four large drinks and three large fries, the guy asked us to pull forward... There was a long line of cars waiting to pick up food around the corner from the drive-through. To make things worse, the person in the front had a problem with her order and kept showing the receipts to the person who carried the food out to them. The person behind them had their food and they were stuck behind a person in front. The person bringing the food out to the cars, walked back slowly and was gone for about five or seven minutes. The person behind them tried to back up to get out of the lane and they had no path. I sent one of my children in to retrieve our food as we did not know how long this fiasco was going to go on. So, this McDonald's has found a cheat to keep their drive through window time down, they just have people pull forward into it drive-through lane and bring the food out to them. But you are stuck in a one-way lane, and this is anything but fast. It took us 20 minutes to get out of the line and we actually had to retrieve our own food and drinks. Yes with the prophetically slow person carry in the food out to the cars was just a horrible experience
