The experience, while basically carbon-copied and stamped out of the great Maverik assembly line, is generally clean bathrooms, usually pretty spacious parking, solid selection of snacks and bottled drinks, strong fountain selection, and at least passable, if overpriced, hot foods, and that is exactly what we have here.

When the adult attempted to apologize for upsetting the employees and explained that if she was making a mistake while dispensing the slurpees it was because they don't have them in her home country (this was her first experience) the employees yelled in her face, "Then get the hell out of here! We don't want you here!" Terrible experience and I'm rather disappointed that the other customers didn't say anything to defend these ladies from the awful employees.

Ridiculous!!! I have been going to this Top Stop since I moved to Tooele in 2016. Well, their…read morestaff looks like they just left rehab and now are working at this Top Stop location. My husband use to work for Top Stop a few years ago, and when I lived in Centerville, I never had a problem with someone waiting on me. Well, that all changed today. First, I sent my son in to pre-pay for gas on a pump, and it took over 5 minutes to even get one of the two girls working to wait on him. There was one girl too busy planting flowers to care what customers were going in and out of their store, and the second girl was never at the counter the 3 times I had to enter this gas station for 1 transaction. I just wanted gas, but it seems like it takes an "Act of God" to get that accomplished. Dee is completely oblivious to what is going on around her, and should not be handling anyone's money. If this was my business, I would not have employed either of the girls that I saw working there. So, after the phone call comes in for the girl planting flowers is when my son finally could hand her the $60 to pre-pay for gas. It took awhile, so I thought, "O.k., maybe they are a little busy," but after I witnessed their obliviousness to wait on people entering their store, then I got irritated. So, I pumped my gas and sent my son back in with a penny that I went over, and asked him to get our change. He said the penny on the counter and he said Dee looked right at it, but she must be completely stupid because then she gave my son $7.99 in change instead of the $8.00 I was wanting back. I guess customer service does not exist at this location, and I had to go into the store and tell them that I wanted the correct change back because my son brought them a penny. She said she didn't even see it, even though my son told me he placed it on the counter right in front of her. Can anyone say oblivious with me? She continued to get offensive instead of just going to the golden rule of "The Customer is always right" and giving me what I was asking for. She fake cried and acted like she was so appalled with my request that it was almost impossible for her to fulfill it. Then, she told me that the manger was out at the pumps planting flowers, so I walked to the manager and told her that they don't even know what customer service is, and it is almost impossible to get waited on by one of them at this location. Needless to say, I will not go back to this location. I think if they are going to employ completely incompetent people then they don't need my money, and I will go somewhere else from now on. So, Curtis, (who was on the phone and the only reason I finally got waited on), why don't you find people that are not completely oblivious, pay them some more money to have someone who is competent, and then your Top Stop will run smoother, instead of the former Meth Heads you have employed there. I've had more trouble with this location than any other I've ever been too. About the third time I visited this location there was an issue where the hose came off of the pump and sprayed gas everywhere. With the Emergency Stop across the parking lot it takes about 20 seconds to get to it. That is if you don't fall on the slick gas trying to get to it before you catch fire... DO NOT PAY FOR GAS INSIDE!!! PAY AT THE PUMP IF YOU CAN!!! The staff have absolutely no idea what grade the gas is or what it's called. You can ask for Supreme and you'll get plus. Ask for plus and you'll get regular, etc. I've had to have them fix the transaction several times so I'll get what I've asked for. The problem with them fixing the transaction is that it causes pending charges that won't fall off for a week or more. This is the second time in a row that it's happened. The first time I just let it go. Today I just wasn't having it. Granted you'll only be charged the amount you pump anyway. It's just a real pain to have to wait to be able to access your money because someone doesn't know what they're doing. So maybe it's just that I'm a bit Ignorant for going to a store that just sucks every time I go. Truthfully, I only go because they have the newest tanks in the area.
