That of course is not Smith's fault. But we keep calling Smiths to come and get their carts and they won't. And they get mad when we call them to get their carts.

My girls have celiacs so we looked for the area where we could find some gluten free cookies or cakes (like Winco/Harmon's and Walmart/petersens) but they had nothing anymore even in the frozen section. We wanted burgers tonight.... They don't carry gluten free buns anymore just the breads---- saw a couple managers standing around and mentioned the sushi issue and they just shrugged it off "it's a vendor not our problem......" kept on talking to each other like they even gave a crap! Next we went looking for additional items they no longer carry.... Then had no option but to check an entire huge cart out by ourselves, machine kept jamming up.... Finally finished with a huge full heavy cart and some teens that worked there (two boys against the wall near the exit) and one larger one in a yellow vest just walks right in front of my boyfriend and he had to slam the cart to a stop while we all paused to stop so we didn't run into him and he didn't even care or apologize the other boys just laughed and said "haha nice one so and so just cut off customers lol" Rude! No thank you, there are too many other places to get groceries that have way more gluten free options, people actually on their shifts (sushi) and not rude teenie boppers treating customers that way! We will not be returning to smiths or filling rx's anymore here!

I specifically go out of my way to this location for Sedona sparkling water--it's that good. I already have other brands at home, but I come here for that one. Today, it wasn't in the cooler. So I took one from the shelf and briefly placed it behind iced tea so it would be cold when I came back after my workout--then checked out and left. While I was checking out, the manager on duty, Steph, was watching me closely. As I was leaving, I saw him holding the drink I had moved. When I asked if that really bothered him, he called it "weird." I asked why it's weird for a customer to want a cold drink, and he repeated it multiple times--calling me "weird" four times and saying, "this isn't your personal refrigerator." Despite being a regular customer, he also claimed he had "never seen me before in his life." The situation escalated to the point where I was escorted out by a police officer. The officer was respectful, but that's beside the point--this never should have escalated at all. I've never been escorted out of a grocery store for wanting a cold drink. Being watched, labeled, and treated as suspicious over something so minor felt wrong, and I can't ignore how it came across. At one point I was told, "this isn't your home." Noted--it's good to know this store doesn't consider itself a place for paying customers from the neighborhood. To make it worse, when I called afterward, the person who answered was laughing about it. This wasn't about policy. It was about how a customer was treated. And it was handled poorly from start to finish.

After giving this location six solid tries I've decided to move on to Whole Foods/sprouts.
