I stop at this Maverik pretty often for a fountain drink. It's one of my go to spots when I'm not in the mood for a traditional soda shop. They've got everything you need to customize your drink exactly how you like it. Plenty of syrups and creamers to mix it up. They carry both Coca-Cola and Pepsi products, so you're not limited depending on what you're craving. Most of the time everything is stocked and ready to go, although every now and then some of the Coca-Cola flavors can be out, probably because they're the most popular. Overall, it's a super convenient and solid option for a quick, customizable drink run. Definitely worth stopping by if you want something fast and easy. read more

Not sure who gave them the idea of marketing a variety of useless products during the filling of my tank. I mean, I'm looking to just get a good deal, no gas on my hand, and move on. Inside the Maverick is the "cadillac of gas stations", and you cannot go wrong with the Pork Rib bundle - YUMMY. Why would you go to any other gas station!? Maverik has the best fountain drinks with tons of flavor options, amazing coffee, huge selection of candy & snacks and my all-time favorite donuts! This particular Maverik has very friendly employees and they are always very fast and helpful. There was a huge line when I went today and the cashiers were able to quickly help everyone so I didn't have to wait long at all. Did I mention clean bathrooms? Maverik is the best. read more

This has got to be one of the easiest places to grab gas before getting on to I-15. Once again today I was headed to the freeway to go south and the gas light came on. Bam. Into the Maverik. Bam. Fueling. Bam. Like gasoline magic, the pump stopped at an exact .00 number. Beautiful. Bam. Back in, onto 90th, and I'm cruising southbound at 65mph. It all happened in like 7 minutes. That's the beauty of this place. And you can venture inside for junk food/heated food galore. read more

Great store, however this is the 2nd time I've been here and they have been out of something. I asked if they had any toppings for my Bahama Mama and was told that they ( referring to 3 employees in the back) were getting them ready. I waited but they just kept talking in the back making no apparent effort to get them out. The person I asked failed to offer me any assistance as well. Finally as I finished my Bahama mama they brought out the stuff that makes a Bahama mama great. Consequently my Bahama mama was only average. Great store, needs better customer service. read more

With everything going on simple kindness is always appreciated. Swung into thus Maverick just off the freeway. Needed the bathroom more than anything...and it was great. Clean and well stocked. But I digress....this Maverick had 4 flavors of ICEE. Had to have one but was struggling with the cup/lid. Had the most lovely employees go out of their way to lend a hand as if I was spending a million instead of the $1.06 I paid for my drink. Thanks guys! read more

Listen up! This is for Maverik Corporate who sold the illusion of adventure and fun with great deals on snacks and promos. But that was in the past as new low quality snacks and drinks now cost more than eating out at a standard restaurant. But what really ticks me off is the award points everyone scrapes and scratches to obtain only to have them stolen back by the CEO in the guise of expiration--Frikn' thief. I bought and paid for those points with my purchases. NO MORE BAIT-N-SWITCH gimmicky Mavcons for me. I stop by this location for a breakfast bowl. Food is really fresh and good quality. They prepare it for you as you order @ the bonfire grill. Very busy location, but we'll staffed. Staff is polite and helpfull. read more

Guys, I don't know what to make of this, but there is a live kitchen counter in there...not one of those bakery places, but a few tables and someone slinging fresh street tacos. I don't know if I dare to have one (I probably don't), but I've never seen nor heard of this in any gas station before...very interesting idea...the rest of this place is also pretty cool, though, again, people get confused quickly and easily with the not-very-well-thought-out cashier arrangement. read more

We place our items to purchase at the register that does NOT have the "Next register" sign on it. The cashier said "You can bring that over here". (Sign at her area implied that register closed). We pick up our stuff and move it. Upon attempting to pay with cash, she said she didn't have change. So then my husband has to go to truck to get a credit card while a line formed behind us and her coworker was behind her seemingly putting tobacco in already stocked shelves. read more

Local Business Owner & frequently stopped by both Maverik's on 9000 South until recently. I now will only be going to the one on the SOUTH SIDE (425 West 9000 South) location. THIS location, on the Northside (432 West 9000 South) has to have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & MANAGEMENT I have ever experienced!! I'm NOT a demanding customer nor do I usually complain or feel like I should receive special treatment, etc....but, after MULTIPLE instances of being treated like sh** for no reason by various employees, including the current manager & considering how much $ I do spend at Maverik on a DAILY BASIS, I feel that it's my duty to do so. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone to strictly use the Maverik on the SOUTH SIDE of 9000 South! That Maverik location may be smaller in size but offers everything this one does & will never have a problem w/ anything, selection to customer service/management. read more

This is probably the worst day of my life. I was so excited to see Chuck Norris who was doing a meet and greet there and when we got there, the line was pretty long and they stopped it right after some chick who wasn't even there for him who was in front of us... I'm so disappointed and angry. That is bulls**t. They said he was going to be there until 9 but they stopped it at 7:45? Seriously? Do you realize how many people are going to be just as angry and disgusted as I am about this? I'm Not going to Maverick again and they're probably going to lose other customers over this as well. read more

My Nitro card stopped working-- so I called and they said the bank account number they had on file had changed (on their end) and would need to be changed. In the meantime, I get a collections letter from maverik for .28 cents plus a $25 collection fee. The day before that charge, I got $30 worth of gas at Maverik-- it went thru with no problems. I've had this bank account for nearly 30 years and the Maverik account for several years. Nothing changed on my end. After jumping thru all the hoops they wanted me to go thru it still doesnt work. After several customer service calls and getting nowhere, A manager finally called (but I was at work)-- so, I called back and they apparently go home at 3:00pm UTAH time. This is the second time in 2 years that MAVERIK has changed my bank account number without my knowledge or permission and caused me much grief. I was going to just never go there again except they send me this collection notice for $25.28!!! Is there something wrong with the water in Utah? read more
