It only took a couple of minutes a d by then there were two more hoping for one. They are truly delicious. One of my favorite parts is the salsa. It's a delicious fresh salsa that has a little heat. The thick slices of fresh lime are the reason I usually stop here to fill up my Diet Coke. It is always clean and tidy and the wait at check out never too long. I think self check helps with that. The staff are always friendly even if they don't always get my jokes. Lol. I also recommend you try the oatmeal Creme cookie from the case. It's nostalgia in it's purest form. Gas stations dispense gas for cars. 2. Cars need gas to go. 3. Fusion power is not yet available to power vehicles (unlike in those lying Back to the Future movies). #2 makes #1 inherently required, you have to go somewhere. #3 is just annoying, but the fault of poor research by Hollywood. However, I think what puts Maverick above the curve is the stores themselves. And this particular location has a big, modern, clean store with plenty of variety of goods and has friendly service on almost every visit I've made. As a result of this and the fact to boot it also has plenty pumps so you can always get in without a wait to gas up makes this my gas station of choice. I try to support Maverick since while not a wholly local chain, it is one of the bigger ones in Utah and certainly limited to only a handful of Western states, many of which are the lesser populated ones.

Although I've decided that the McDiet Coke from McDonald's is the best, the Diet Coke at Hart's is close second. I have this very specific blend of my Coke cocktail, and it comes out perfect at this Harts. Have you noticed a lot of gas stations don't have very good syrup to put in their fountain drinks? You squirt in some vanilla syrup, and it's just sticky brown water? Or the cherry syrup is factory rejected cough syrup? Not at Hart's! The cups have cute hearts printed on them, and the lid is red - it's just a little detail but it makes my 52oz vats of carbonated goodness a little happier. The donuts there are also great - double chocolate Dunford Donuts that are so fresh, the icing is still soft and gooey. As I walk up to the register, I catch up on the morning gossip with the sweet and chatty ladies up front. They're so friendly, and I think they've given me a personal compliment every time I come to the register. I think I might be as addicted to that attention as the drink I'm purchasing. My main complaint about Hart's is the location and parking. The gas pumps are on the diagonal, and in the mornings the parking lot is a mad mess of cars and delivery trucks. It can be tough to get back onto westbound 7200 South to the freeway.

They are friendly and seem to like that you are there. It's hard to find at other convenience stores. They know my name made sure I got their card so I could start saving immediately and they let you make your own drinks. I'm kind of fussy about that. It's always clean and well stocked. I will drive out of my way to go here. That's big when there are several options but I'm sticking by them.

And the best part: So much booze they have a walk-in cooler filled with it (a majority, of course, beer). Usually one of the most important elements to the customer is the gas PRICES. Jackson's is in a joint venture with Chevron, and their fuel prices are in line with those in the area. So Jackson's is great if you want more than just gas on your next fuel up.
