Ordinarily I find it difficult to review gas stations, mainly because there isn't always a lot of…read morematerial you can use to base a review on. In simple terms.... 1. Gas stations dispense gas for cars. 2. Cars need gas to go. 3. Fusion power is not yet available to power vehicles (unlike in those lying Back to the Future movies). #2 makes #1 inherently required, you have to go somewhere. #3 is just annoying, but the fault of poor research by Hollywood. However, I think what puts Maverick above the curve is the stores themselves. And this particular location has a big, modern, clean store with plenty of variety of goods and has friendly service on almost every visit I've made. As a result of this and the fact to boot it also has plenty pumps so you can always get in without a wait to gas up makes this my gas station of choice. I try to support Maverick since while not a wholly local chain, it is one of the bigger ones in Utah and certainly limited to only a handful of Western states, many of which are the lesser populated ones.

My local Costco has a small walk in for milk maybe 20 feet by 20 feet. This has a walk in larger than most gas stations. This place was huge and oddly enough almost no lines while I was here. Per my son whom was with me our local Costco has 3 or 4 energy drinks this had an entire row of them. I seen things I could only wish my local Costco would carry. If I were not in a sports car with limited storage, I could have filled a van with things I haven't seen for sale before that I wanted. Kind of glad I did have a small car. Either way highly recommend stopping in if you are anywhere near here. I wouldn't say my 24 hour drive was worth just visiting a Costco, but it was close.

This Smith's Pharmacy location is impressively bad. They cancel prescription refills without any…read morenotification or explanation. If it's an insurance issue, fine. But having prescriptions quietly disappear from your account with zero communication is unacceptable. Calling to ask what happened is an adventure in itself. Expect dismissive, rude behavior from pharmacists who seem irritated that you dare to even ask. Somehow, that same attitude extends to doctors as well. When my physician called on my behalf, she was treated with the same condescension, including suggestions that they knew my treatment plan better than she did. The kicker? When I finally transferred my prescriptions, the new pharmacist knew exactly which pharmacy I was leaving... and exactly why. This isn't a one-off mistake. It is a pattern. Do yourself a favor and take your prescriptions elsewhere.
