They were so helpful, and took care of everything for me. Easy peasy! I love that they have the automatic DOG wash! For $5 (machine accepts cash or card) your dog can walk up into an elevated basin, and then it works exactly like a self-serve car wash. There's a dial on the wall to select different shampoos, deodorizers, etc. it's amazing not to have to try to bend over the bathtub to wash my dog who hates baths anyway! I love that all the products are in the machine and come out of the hose. There's even a milk bone vending machine on the wall. Make sure you bring towels to dry your dog.

But on one visit recently the pads came down to wash after I ordered touch-free. When I brought it up, they took it seriously and sincerely apologized and sent the manager out. Luckily there was no damage, the manager took his time explaining to me the tech didn't hold down the button all the way and he has customers that pull up and remind the tech again they are touch free - annoying but its worth the extra reminder. He gave me a coupon for a free wax. I appreciated how they handled it and now I remind the techs before I enter.

Probably the biggest reason I like Maverik's is for the almost always clean bathrooms. Having a reliable place to go when you're on the go is important to me. On top of that, the hot food section is pretty decent in terms of selection and during certain hours, you can order food from the grill. I really like their selection of granola/protein bars too. If you find yourself frequenting Maverik locations, I definitely recommend becoming a rewards member. It's free! You can stock up points for things you normally buy and work your way to free snacks and sodas. Whenever I'm on the road and need to stop somewhere, Maverik's is almost always my first pick if it's close.
