From the food staff to the starting line guys. Owners are willing to listen and assist you in anyway they can. years ago I had to sell out everything I had due to cancer I beat it. I bought this car to have fun with and the help of the entire staff at Thunder Valley it was always been there to answer my somewhat annoying questions. I'm looking forward to taking this car out there as soon as I can and learning how to drive it. Any help would be greatly appreciated from fellow racers. Thank you Jerry McIntire. (AKA...... DOC)

I have not raced cars or motorcycles at other tracks, but the track here seems well kept. Some things do concern me about how oil spills are cleaned up when a racer's motor blows out, but Thunder Valley seems to do a great job at cleaning up the oil and keeping racer and viewer safety priority. The race slips they offer have several readings regarding distance, speed, reaction time, and time; the most popular lengths are 1/8 and 1/4. It says your time and mph for the distance. I hope to share pics of slips as soon as i find them. There are several lanes open for automobiles and a couple lanes for motorcycles. There is a burnout area just before the staging area with a great light tree to assist with pre-staging and staging. They have public events with spectators where the public can race their vehicle, and events with private racers but the public is spectating.

We went with a group. There was so much confusion with the staff. They had several people working with our group and they were all telling us different things. It took well over an hour to get us on the racetrack. Then we had lunch in an event room. They served us undercooked pizza.... I pulled on a piece and it was raw dough. Even the hungry kids wouldn't eat it. I think they were in such a hurry to get us out of there. They wouldn't wait the extra five minutes to finish cooking the pizza. I stepped out in the hallway and two female workers were there. One said " are they gonna eat more pizza ?" And they other said "No, they're leaving . Thank God!" To which the other replied, " Good!yeah right, thank God!" That was nice. Always makes a good impression with your guests. Arcade cards didn't work on all the games. Then none of our tickets could be cashed in for prizes. Neither of these would've made it terrible, but the attitudes of the staff did. Oh... and the raw pizza.

My boyfriend got us tickets to the karts for my birthday and I was very excited to try them. You are not supposed to bump into other cars and there was this guy who was crashing into everyone and it hurt so bad. I just tried to finish the rest of the laps without anyone running into me. Didn't happen though. I feel like they should ban people who run into people multiple times.

I played all of them -- highly recommend the "Golf & Games" package that's $10 -- and liked the easy course the best, because it has the most opportunities for you to get holes-in-one (and who doesn't love the thrill of a hole-in-one!?). All of the courses are pretty straightforward--there aren't fancy obstacles (e.g., windmills, volcano holes, moving drawbridges), though the medium and hard courses have a hole that covers three stories of ground, which is pretty cool and unique. The main difference between the easy course and the others is the ability to aim straight at the hole on the easy course, while the other courses make you play bank shots or hit it around the corner to get to the hole. While most of the holes were in good condition, there were a few that could use some recarpeting. And generally, I wish there were more fun obstacles, both in play and for decoration. On the indoor side of Celebration Station, I was a little disappointed at how many games were broken -- nearly everything upstairs was out of order, and several of the games on the lower level were as well. And miss me with the $2.50 it takes to play the claw machines (if $10 = 40 credits, the claw machines require 10 credits to play), that's terrible value. I'd come back for the mini-golf and maybe to try the go carts, but I'd pass on the arcade.
