Do not buy gaming headsets here. I Bought a pair and it had a non functioning mic. I tried returning the mic later that day after spending hours trying to get it to work. They refused to give me back my money because it had been opened so they "had" to change it out for another. Well not wanting to go through the same experience I waited until the next day and brought the new set back. They still refused to give me money back and said they had to give me in store credit. The best part is the old headphones that they claimed had to be returned to manufacturer was in a display case getting resold! Do not buy from GameStop I will never go back over this lousy return policy. read more

The games and prices are okay . The employees are not helpful nor knowledgeable of anything in the store and are disrespectful tbh

Always nice. Prices a tad high, but the workers are always friendly and chatty. I am a sucker for collectables, and I always spend more than I should. read more

BEWARE pre-ordering anything at this store. I've already been burned twice. The first case was a year ago which I let slide. I preordered a game and went to pick it up after work on release date. When I got there, they said there was some kind of mix up and didn't order enough of said item. I was most certainly upset, but didn't throw a fit over it because luckily the Walmart directly across the street had it in stock. The second time was the most recent occurrence and was a bigger deal to me. I'd been waiting literally months to get the new PS VR headset. When I saw online that they were releasing another bundle, my first thought was to just order it online (which I should have done). The release date online said it would be coming out on the 21st. In the end, however, I went to this store thinking I would help out my local business because I used to work retail and know it helps cashiers out. Also this Gamestop is on my way home from work. The sales person was very eager to help and friendly (which is why i gave two stars rather than just one). When I purchased my VR bundle, I paid for me preorder IN FULL. I didn't just put a deposit down, I paid the $500+ IN FULL. I was unable to make it on the 21st but promptly came in on the 22nd. Imagine my surprise when I found out Gamestop had bumped up the release date of the VR bundle from the 21st to the 13th. This of course was not indicated on my receipt, not told at time of purchase, nor was i given any kind of notification. No one called and I didn't get an email (though I know Gamestop has my email because I have a power pro membership and they send me advertising SPAM on a weekly basis). I was a little irritated knowing I could have enjoyed my VR a week earlier, but no sweat, or so I thought. Turns out Gamestop has a policy that if you don't pick up your preorder within 48 hours of release, they can sale it. Of course they do nothing at all to contact your before or after selling it. They just do it. What upsets me the most is that I had no way of knowing that release date changed. Gamestop never informed me and neither did their store. I just showed up a week later to find my PAID IN FULL preorder was gone. So what I get out of this entire experience is that preorders mean nothing to Gamestop. Apparently the associates at this store are so eager to make their own personal sales, they are willing to sale an item which was already paid for in full! Seriously, this wouldn't have hurt Gamestop's sales at all because I didn't just put a deposit down, I paid IN FULL. So friendliness aside, some of the associates here just don't care enough about the first customers if they can please a second one. In the end, i had to drive all the way to Edmond to get one of the last VR headsets available in the OKC metor. Had I not been in a rush to have it before the weekend for a party, I would have just repurchased it on Amazon. So far, Amazon hasn't let me down and is where I will conduct my preorders from now on. At least i know it will be shipped for free and on time, and I don't have to worry about some eager associate selling my PAID IN FULL item from right under my nose. Really Gamestop, learn to treat your customers better and fulfill your promises! I held up my end of the bargain by giving you my money far in advance! What even is the point of preordering with you? read more

I went into this store today to pick up a specific iPhone case and a couple of XBOX live cards for my teenagers. I thought the guy that was there was really great. He was super personable and easy to talk to. I was standing in line behind a guy who was asking a lot of questions and the cashier was very helpful and patient with him which helped maintain the light cheerful mood of the store. A lot of times if a cashier acts impatient or annoyed, customers feed off that and then you end up with a store with a tense atmosphere that you don't want to shop in. I have to comment on the other review that was on here... personally I am not one to play the XBOX or other game consoles but I DO play WOW.... and I have never ran into any Game Stop employee at any of the three stores that I frequent who has used their gamer tag or Wow name, lol. I think it is very personable when they can relate to the games that you play and can give tips or tell you things you may not have known. I had to actually chuckle at one guy at a different GameStop store when I was calling around to see what iPhone cases they had. He described the Wow ones as 'a blue one with what looks like a lion face?" and I said "Oooo! that's the Alliance flag, and I bet the other one is black with red on it right?" and he laughed and said 'Yep! Sorry, forgive me I don't play Warcraft" and I said "no worries, in the future those are the Alliance and Horde flags" LOL.... but I was a little amazed that he didn't know what they were and he worked at a gamers store, lol. Moral of my story is... it is the same as a comic book store, or a vintage book store... you SHOULD have employees who are passionate about what they are selling.... so why would you not expect to get people who play game consoles or Wow at Gamestop? LOL I thought this store was the best GameStop I have been to yet. Yes, prices are high - but usually you have to make sure the product manufacturers are pricing things fairly... not so much GameStop. read more
